I've just booked the Honda Elevate SUV recently, and I am in the same boat as others who've driven a manual for over 20 years. 😊 I've watched other videos about CVT transmission, but this one really helped me understand the difference for a first time driver. Thank you so much 🙏🏼 Just a small request - it is apparent that you are more comfortable in Hindi, so please feel free to make your videos in Hindi so that your true emotions and the local feel of our country can be heard and understood better. You explain concepts the way we in the IT world describe as 'Usability', and it's a gift you have. Please make many more videos and we are waiting for them 😊 God bless you, and to all your subscribers - drive safe!
3:22 Sports Mode when you want to drive in manual mode you can use S mode. If you want to go uphill than please put gear on S mode. S mode brings power to your car
Don't use N gear on signals. Just stop the car with brakes and hold on the brakes. Atleast for the usual 1 minute signals. If its a traffic jam or something use it.
It could break your transmission if you constantly change to neutral. They are very delicate so try to hold onto brake as often as you can if the traffic is only for couple minutes, if it goes over 5mins or more just shift to parking, its not worth damaging your transmission for
I booked city cvt.. I’m in waiting period.. currently.. I’m also moving from manual to cvt. I took test drive n drove in a road with less traffic.. had no problem.. but still have to learn..
Keep the videos coming dude. Including all the hidden features and Easter eggs in the vehicle, like how the honda logo on the wheel aligns with the valve
Hi, I'm moving from a manual to cvt, I wanted to ask if say I'm in D position and the car is moving, & I want to move to S mode, do I need to apply brakes come to a standstill & then change gears or I can do it while the car is running without applying brakes. Thanks in advance! Appreciate your effort ❤️
Hand Barke On Gear in D mode. If I remove leg from Brake pedal car is moving. Is it normal? I was thinking if Hand Brake is engaged car won't move if Brake pedal is released
@@DeathClutch Even if the hand brake is half up, the Dashboard shows warning sign. I'm not expecting the hand brake to stop the moving vehicle. I was thinking that vehicle roll will be prevented electrically if Parking brake is on.
S mode is SPORT mode in Honda cvt when it was launched. Basically if you put gear in S mode you can drive the car as you drive a manual car using paddle shifters to up and down the gears.

this is the info i was looking for.
Any specific reason why? Is there any problem if we use Neutral gear in short signals?

Nice shoes, can you share the brand or link of the shoe
Very helpful video.
Can you please share link to the floor mats?
I bought VX CVT.
Can I shift from P to D directly or need to pause at each gear? Please lemme know.

when do we use the paddle shifters?
Can anyone tell me what is the use of paddle shifters in cvt car?
Informative tutorial. But, the background music was louder than your voice 😂
Reason of shifting to a automatic is pressing clutch in massive traffic. It give you knee pain in long-term.

No need to brake while moving you can change d to s mode and use paddle shifters if you have paddle like manual
Nice explanation, helped me...keep up
Tuturial videos are better without backround music
So much loud music your voice not clear, because of disturbing background music
Hand Barke On
Gear in D mode.
If I remove leg from Brake pedal car is moving.
Is it normal?
I was thinking if Hand Brake is engaged car won't move if Brake pedal is released
You have to pull hand brake properly. Sometimes people engage half hand brake and think it is engaged fully.

Thanks bro, your video was much informative for me
