This is great! My two favorite teachers! Your fabric choices, Vanessa, are always so bold and colorful - love it. I appreciate that it is also a paper-pieced project to get me out of my comfort-zone and explore more creative outlets of quilting. Table runners are a favorite cause you can usually do one in a few hours.

Ut oh! I am in LOVE again! I not only use table runners for tables, but I use them as well as PILLOW COVERS on my bed (I try to match fabrics if possible!) If my quilt is not quite long enough, add my LONG 'table runner' to cover my pillows and it makes it so a 'shorter' quilt can be a bed covering WITH a matching pillow cover. Easy to do - makes it zing to have a quilt & a pillow cover, which I simply throw over the pillow after my bed is made. I DO add lace to MY side of the bed pillow cover - makes me smile.

Thanks! I am another one of those stories you hear about. I did not even know how to sew. I was unable to go back to work and my mom recommended a hobby. I started watching your videos and not only do I sew now but I quilt. I started off with one sewing machine and now have 3 different machines. Also I am now addicted to fabric! ☺ I love quilting and I am so thankful for all the great videos you have and the wondering Block magazine. I also love ordering items from your website and your employees are awesome when you call in. Thanks again and thanks for all the great videos Ms Jenny and I do want to come to one of your retreats!! 😀😀

I get my news paper rolls at my newspaper place. They have end rolls that they done us. I get a roll that has about three to four inches of roll still on the core. $3.00-$4.00 each roll. Super inexpensive. Many it you have a news paper printing in your town or near you. you might want to check them .... the paper roll is also nice to wrap dishes in if storing or moving dishes.
