I think on 9:36 happened next: DH uses cycle and health's of 3 minion set to 0, which means death, but combatant triggered and deal one damage to all and game think what all minions died by that guy. The most Broken addon ever

@@YarMoLight In MtG if a newly released card has special interactions with specific game mechanics, you can usually find it under that card's rulings though. Also every rule is explained in detail, so there isn't anything ambigous. If you don't know how a card interacts with something, then it is your fault since you didn't investigated the rulings carefully or in-depth enough. So it isn't like Heartstone which Blizzard says "We coded this card, but we won't share how we did it, you playtest it instead to find special interactions.".
That was also a really cool reference, because Fortress is all about taming swamp monsters and their might hero class is called Beastmasters. Also the clip is named Beasty Boys, so it def was on purpose. I see what you did there, Trolden!

On this minion the text is "Frenzi: Get divine shield" and this is the text being silenced, not the divine shield itself
But it's also supposed to remove all enhancements, not just card text. For example if you give a minion divine shield with the 1 mana spell, silence can remove it although it's not part of the minion's card text
The Divine Shield clip is interesting. Silence removes all text from the card, but Divine Shield is not a part of the text. It gains Divine Shield when it takes damage, and then the text becomes inactive, because Frenzy only triggers once. Because Divine Shield isn't actually a keyword on the card itself, it isn't removed by silence.
That's wrong though since silence also removes buffs from other sources that weren't originally text on the card. Because silence doesn't only affect text that was on the card is why it's run when people play minion buffs. Basically there should be no difference between divine shield given by frenzy and one given by something like hand of protection.

Yeah, the game doesn't process deaths immediately, but follows a set order of events. Similar oddities can happen when Arcane Missiles clears a full board with some minions that spawn others when taking damage. The board remains full of dead minions until the spell has finished, leaving no space for "whenever this takes damage summon X"
For the record, Samuro + Soulrend doesn't seem to work like that and proceeds to discard the correct amount of cards so they either fixed the bug, it was specific to Whirling Combatant and/or Cycle of Hatred, or I'm missing something about the glitch
Because it boiled down to the fact they specifically had in their hand a card that gave them mana, which the odds are low and therefore, worth the risk
Pretty funny how the first handful of clips is perfectly accurate. Very rarely has an expansion come out and I have no desire to even play the game anymore, I do tend to just try and do my dailies but oddly the game can sometimes be enjoyable to keep playing but not even with any of these new cards now. Outlands was absolute trash when that hit and now this, not sure what was worse, answering every broken thing DH would play and still dying or not even being able to interact with 95% of what mage does and dying?
I'm guessing the game takes the last instance of damage as the 'killer'. So whirling combatant, despite only dealing one damage to already dead minions, counted as the killer.
A lot of the interactions in this expansion are broken af. Piercing Shot (4 mana deal 6 damage to a minion, deal excess to face) doesn't work either. If you target Taelan with divine shield, it deals 0 damage to Taelan and 3 damage to face.
That's how fluffy fire runes used to work lol at least it's "fair" in that regards, instead of giving the mage secret the better end of the stick for some reason

I swear, how the fuck this game is coded is beyond me. They give the Yandere Simulator dev a run for his money. (not really, but still, this is a big company we're talking about, this is JUST A CARD GAME, it shouldn't be that hard for THEM to code it so these things don't happen, it's like they wanted to take some magic shortcuts in coding or some shit)
5:20 the worst part of this is that he actually missed lethal. He could HP first, then cast the spell to reduce him to 0hp. BUT he KNEW he had a frog which would shoot a dart. he KNEW that the enemy minion would grant armor if it was damaged. He has no reason to have missed lethal there. But he did.
