    Fully welded firebox
    Firebox welded to cook chamber
    4x4 square 29 inch stack
    Five inch collector
    34 inch total draft
    Increased the door on the firebox
    Added “Chud Notch” door latch
    Added cook chamber heat baffle from firebox
    Added sun guards for the cook chamber thermometers

      Cause I thought they looked cool. The high end smokers have them and I wanted to be one of the cool kids :)

    Awesome job. How did you determine the size of the smoke stack? Is the fire box too small? I was thinking of making a larger box.Thanks

      Thanks for watching. The stack is 90° of the cook chamber length. The firebox is not meant for a large fire. The grates at the v basket angle did not work for me. There are a couple videos on the channel where I go into more detail. I have done this a few times. Each time it gets better as I learn what works and what doesn’t. I mod the smokers and sell them.     Looking to do this same collector smoke stack mod to mine. How much $ did the materials cost?

      I shop at a metal outlet. If you haven’t google metal outlet stores in your area. It will save you so much money. I paid 40 for the stack and 25 for the plate metal for the collector. Good luck.
