- Top Fuel Nitro Motorcycle riders are in pursuit of world records as we take you behind the scenes to South Georgia Motorsports Park in Valdosta, Ga. for the 2020 Man Cup Finals as Larry “Spiderman” McBride, Dave Vantine, Mitch Brown, Sam Wills and newly added turbo strive for motorcycle drag racing history. We begin in the pits by showing you what is new on McBride’s bike starting with the reworked chassis, new wheelie bars, new valves and freshly rebuilt engine. We check in with the rest of the field and then watch these talented and fearless riders battle a tricky race track.

Roland Stuart put a barely used tire on my husband’s rz350 in late eighties in Gainesville for ten bucks! Then he sent him to Napa instead of the Yamaha dealer in order to save him twenty dollars on a wheel bearing which he changed for free. My husband was very aware of Roland’s pedigree from his dad taking him to the drags as a kid. He told me the story that There in back of his modest shop was a clean room with his top fuel dragster. He humbly asked if Roland would show it to him and he did! Thank you Mr. Stuart for leaving such a awesome memory in a local kid.

Larry's bike is just gnarly! at idle, which really controls engine temp and you can just tell they got a lot more power.

@@cycledragLove Them and had most of them all' from your Two and Four stroke mini bikes and Trail's to your Yamaha RD 350/400s and Kawasaki H1/H2s to your Kawasaki ZX and Honda CB's to CBR's and Yamahas FZ stuff' "YAM sandwiches" is what they called Them LoL I'm Old school by heart though' got a Kawasaki kz 1000 with a kosman car tire conversion chassis with a 84 ninja 900 one piece fiberglass body from FRP and an all APE 1327cc motor in it' also something you'd Love and One day if you're ever out in Los Angeles CA I've got a black Molly graphics 1979 Kawasaki z1r turbo with the original ATP Turbo kit and spider pipe That's been hotrodded Tastefully. 👍

@@cycledrag what havn't i owned is the smaller list currently i have 2 1975 z1-b based dragikes, a cartire z1-r rolling chassis thats getting a motor built for it right now, a 2000 zx-12r super street combo. my current street bikes are a 74 z1-a an 1982 kz1000j an 1982 fxrs shovelhead , 84 ironhead sporty with a 2001 x1 buell engine in it that also going to be flat tracked and maybe with a swingarm swap a bit of drag racing, plus a 1979 xs650 flat tracker/semi street legal (it sort of has plates and lights)and a ktm 525 powered 1973 rt-3 yamaha just for fun. plus a whole bunch more waiting to be finished.im also putting together a z1 based bike to run at bonnieville for next year or when ever i finally can get back across the border under my own power and without the damn canadian government sticking their noses in my business

I worked on a top fuel team in early 2000's, we beat, got beat and partied with a bunch of those guys. Steve Stourder held a few records.

That's what the big rear tire is for in combination with body language to help with steering while the front wheel is in the air. Also thats why it's so important to line the bike up as straight as possible on the starting line...
Also all the cycle drag plugs are a little silly.... we are watching the channel you dont need to advertise what we are watching man. Content is good though, keep up the bikes!
