Mine is on backorder and waiting. This is someone who uses Fractal equipment, but knows a perfect purpose driven device when he sees one. I understand the technology and my expectations are appropriate. Also, people I trust love it! Heck I spend this much money on a tank of gas.
Got mine this weekend. Still need to play with the presets, but not bad out of the box. The high-gain models are a bit fizzy but with custom IRs that can probably be remedied. For $110 it's ridiculous value.
I'm really excited to see this segment heat up after the Mustang Micro, which for me has made spending quality time with my instruments easier than ever. I'd be thrilled to get to a point where I walk on stage with a tiny plug in my bass and am totally comfortable doing so in a professional scenario... seems that future might be very near!
I'm just seriously excited about this sort of product in a way I haven't been in most of the effects market for a long time. I haven't used a NUX product, but it's cool to have them in the game. Opening the door on a device like this to allowing user editing of all the parameters is exactly what is needed; that's my main complaint about the Fender, while I do enjoy it. I'd love to see the whole industry get in on this... imagine Helix running in this form factor!
A great thing about this is the modeling is handled via the unit rather than as an app on your phone. This is critical for mobile recording on Android because of the limitations where you can't have a modeling app and DAW app running at the same time like you can on iOS. Now I need to figure out what the best Android based looper apps are for ad-hoc song writing and jamming sessions.
I would like to use it as a main setup, even for gigs, and live concerts. Would it be suitable for that? Can you send sound from it, to bigger speakers, other than headphones, like using it at rehearsals, or even to send its sound to PA systems ? or should I buy something like, the mighty space for that because it would be better since it has a "speaker out" output ?
... unfortunately, the Wazza Air turned out to be more of a cheap little toy, and I mean little...my 3rd grade AM hand held Radio Shack blew this across the street. I love Boss/Roland and I've added NUX.
The app is far more in depth for the MP Pro. Both units are great, but the leaps in technology enabled us to put a lot of cool stuff under the hood for the new MP Pro.
Thus is really awesome! I have a question: can you record right onto your iPhone the track that you prepared using the device? It would be so awesome to be able to record an MP3 and then quickly send it off to a friend via text message. (or just to be able to save musical ideas that you come up with).
Impulse responses refer to the cabinet emulations that we use on the MP Pro. An Impulse Response is essentially a micro recording of the speaker's characteristics and behaviors which is applied as a cabinet. Another term you might here would be IR and for all us guys going back to the 90's, Acoustic Stamping.
You talk about jaming but how can i connect this to a guitar amplifier ? I don't think it is possible from what i see. I see only a conexion for pc, and headphone. So?
Ottimo video!!!
October 2023. Just acquired one. Needed an firmware update I could not provide. I do not own a PC. I love the presets. Though the App keeps disconnecting. So now I guess I will have to buy a cheap laptop to fully make it work. They should disclose that fact. Otherwise best headphone amp I have spent some coin on. I have others and there is no comparison. Even my cheap headphones sound better

Mine arrived Monday, it's awsome, I'm still learning all I can do with it....there's a ton of stuff in it. And the price is awsome

@@shanegibbons1990 how much is fender paying you?

@@ianrossmusic Let me know if you have any questions about the MP Pro. It's a lot of fun.

Wonderful device, fair price, but IMHO it needs a tuner and the ability to use air pods as your ear buds before it's over the top.
Great demo … does it have a wah preset ?
I was deliberating on the waza air but this seems like it’ll do the job

Love the Elvis sofa cover
When I stream back the songs from Spotify, that’s pretty weak and soft in the headphones, am using an Audio technica M30x. Am I doing something wrong?
between the Bluetooth to smartphone, app processing, phone back to headphones...
how much lag???
Great question! Did you find out? I didn’t even think about that.
It's quite minimal.1.2ms
I had the mighty plug 2, I could see the potential in it, but the actual application was a bit meh, interesting to see where this model is at.

can we use it for piezo pick up?
is it possible to connect the Mighty Plug to a speaker or guitar amp instead of headphones ?

Can this go into the amp with a jack adapter?
Please tell me what android "video call" apps works with Nux Mighty plug pro (Line and Facebook Messenger not works).

Hi. does it work with BT headphones or loudspeaker?
Great price point AND they let you route the effects in any idiotic way you can imagine? They’re going to sell a boatload of these for X-Mas.
That's what we're hoping for at NUX 😁
Wow, & Good Grief, just amazing

There is also the Mooer Prime P1 that is similar.
Does it work with Bluetooth headphones?

Reminds me of an ancient little blue Korg device gathering dust in the basement.

No, not even close.

Shut up and take my money!
Headstock tuners are horrible. It’s a shame for the headstock designer and it kills the beauty of the guitar. Shame on you.
my fender mustang micro headphones amp is way easier to use i’ll stick to fender thanks
