I dont know if anyone will read this, but many people have different opinions on the bausffs on being an inter, or having an alternate playstyle. Regardless of what you think please remember that he is a human being, some of the comments on reddit threads about this guy are absolutely hellish, please be responsible with your anonymity and remember its just another gamer.

Although that this is true , he is literally "ruining" so many people's games with this playstyle regardless of if it is working or not . It is simply unhealthy for the game .
And not only that , but people copy his playstyle as well , which furthermore makes the problem even bigger .
So the comments might be harsh , but the frustration of these players that have encountered him is simply way too much to handle .

If you watch Baus' replays when he is offstream he doesn't die nearly as much and plays significantly better. It seems like on stream there is less consideration for staying alive, not sure whether it's for entertainment, more carefree playstyle or both.
When you stream your concentration is divided between chat and the game. Just how it is. Nearly 99.9% of them play better off-stream.

He did by far the most damage in his team while building full tank and having characters which have nothing but dps like Twitch and Graves. He got camped constantly and his jungler was really the worst one you could find in that elo.
The ban was undeserved and uncalled for.

Just bc you are outnumbered top though doesn't mean you completely back off, in reality there's a sweet spot in safeness where you bait pressure and your team does something somewhere else for more value which is seen in games like Starcraft or Dota which have significantly more intensive and complicated macro than League. Like the whole idea of "good deaths," being a foreign concept to League players is funny af and I don't even watch him
my guy, safe isn’t in Baus’s vocabulary. There’s no “sweet spot in safeness” when he constantly pushes the wave and attempts to proxy. There’s also no reason to bait pressure early game when there’s no objectives up and even if he does temporarily make it easier for his team to lane, it kind of ruins the point when he dies to every gank and give gold leads to 2 potent mid game champions.
Would love to see gold per minute on Jax vs Rammus throughout the game, it's probably not great but would be fun to see the difference.

Side note this play from Akali at 19:50 is unreal, best usage of cancelling E2 with protobelt I have ever seen. Absolutely broke Bausen's ankles. And the follow up was so damn clean (even stalled out the E2 cast so once she baited Rammus the next E1 cooldown would be up soon which ended up being relevant). Head and shoulders the best player in that lobby that match. Getting 9CSpm in the meantime as bloody Akali in soloq further helps

Why the hell should he have to change? He has CONSISTENTLY proven that he's top 1% of the 1% . There is more to LoL than K/D/A. He's regularly playing alongside real inters who give up and grief because of weak mental and he remains one of the calmest, coolest players in League of Legends. It really shouldn't matter if some players don't like his playstyle.

There shouldnt be any distinctions just because hes a high rank streamer and also having many deaths should not be encouraged. If you see a random guy having 15 deaths every game you wouldnt think twice about having them reported and banned

i find it weird that having an account ban doesn't lead to a player ban. if you are gonna ban someone's account they themselves should be banned right? that's like banning someone from an establishment (restaurant, museum, etc) for inappropriate behavior but letting them in again just because they changed their clothes
Pretty simple, new accounts mean new (more) money for riot. player bans are insanely rare (incarnati0n which got lifted, t1 which got lifted, idek who else)

If random Joe from bumfuck nowhere gets banned on his plat4 account, riot isn’t gonna look into him as a person and ban anything from him for life. Player ban in this context means a (relatively known) player getting literally restricted from ever playing the game again on any account whatsoever

You don't get it. T1 got permanently banned off of multiple accounts well over 15. Account bans just mean they have a chance to be better next time. It's not like hacking. This man literally has proven himself by being challenger multiple seasons, including hitting challenger at Korea (which the even the creator of this video have so far not been able to reach btw) where even the biggest names in league like Zeus, Canna, Irelking, Pzzang etc. were baffled at what he was doing at how good he was at it. So much so when pros started thinking about mimicing his playstyle and some of them actually started trying it, Sion, his main champion, got instantly nerfed to underground (again, not because of WR and other stuff, just because of a single man). He still kept on hitting challenger, including this season despite all the odds so Rito decides to ban him. Great job you dogshit company; if you don't like his playstyle how about making some changes to your spaghetti system first? He is only optimizing the ingredients you yourself have given Baus u know

How on earth is a veteran challenger top 0.01% player the troll???
It's not personally about Baus though, it's about his playstyle. While it is indeed a proven playstyle by him that can get you to challenger, many, many people copy it, but do not have the skill and understanding of how this playstyle works which ends in literally int every game. This made the community dislike Baus simply because he is the inventor of this strategy, hence Riot did the smart thing - proving everyone that if they play like this without the intention of winning, they'll get banned - and what's more efficient than doing it to the inventor himself.
Sion only got one real nerf and that was the less damage on Turrets with passive but in the meantime Season 13 happened and Heartsteel.
Every other alternative playstyle got gutted pretty much instantly (looking at Janna top) so Baus had it easy. He is still a very good player and better than all of us but

I don't say this should be considered a "good deaths" but he was already 0-4 so he gave like 172 gold or whatever it is exactly, jax lost some minion gold so essentially he gave the jax ~100 Gold. However if he managed to get through there and proxy it he could get his Thornmail faster helping him get back in the game.

All the dmg "done" by Rammus is actually dmg that enemies are doing to themselves, so in this particular case hes top dps because he spent most of this match "absorbing dmg" while feeding of course.
calling it "feeding" is debatable, because baus is "trading" kills for towers.
eg. you wouldnt ban jax because baus took more towers, why would you ban baus cuz jax got more kills? **assuming they didnt afk, which neither of them did
would you be surprised that if you look at the opgg for this exact game that baus had more gold than jax for most of the game, more damage than any other 2 players on his team combined, more damage dealt than anyone in the game, more damage soaked, and more gold than anyone on his team? its like everyone assumes 100% winrates are possible. fighthers/assassins get kills, split pushers take towers, tanks soak damage, some junglers take objectives, everyone and every champ has their own way of contributing to a win... its not all the same

He agrees with basically everything baus says. Some bad deaths but most deaths were good, even if it didn't work out as planned. He outperformed jax for sure. And twitch and graves were the real problem.

If this gameplay was anyone but Baus, everyone would call it a complete int and game ruining for everyone of his teammates, but since it's a special players he should get pass? Even if he is saying that he is trying, he is making the SIGNIFICANTLY harder for his team. I love Baus and I obviously think he tries to win his games in his own way, but just looking at his recent 35% and all of his ap Irelia games, I kind of understand the ban. Still feel bad, but it's completely understandable looking at all of his troll builds on Sion as of late.

his bounty system play style is not for everyone. Its unfair for him to expect all his teammates to simply always adapt to him as if its normal. An easy game becomes unreasonably harder coz of his play style. Meta changes and you cant simply one trick a play style forever.
I do like his playstyle because it is interesting to watch. However i think he just took it to the extreme for no reason. Maybe he doesnt even notice how bad some of his games are because his only focus is to push, hope for a kill or a plate and die. He is so used to dying he might not see it as an issue anymore. If he would actually pay attention to enemy jungler, not suicide every occassion he has and actually assess how much of a chance he has to kill someone , his games would drastically improve. Everyone knows his playstyle and they do expect deaths. So if he is 0/10 at the end but most of the deaths were worth it no one would have a problem i think. There is a problem however if out of his 25 deaths 15 are avoidable and unnecessary. Hope he carries on and maybe adjusts his playstyle a bit.

Bausffs playstyle can be consider as smart, but at the same time every game putting the enemy ahead early game will have significantly lower chance of winning, cant expect every teammate to hold out or carry to he finish his item and win late..
Thing is his strat can work, but sometimes it dooms a game. It’s all champ based. If you’re against a kha and akali, 2 champs with high dmg and engage, graves and twitch need to hard win early against them. So baus is a walking money bag early game for hard scaling champs and graves twitch cannot play the game into those champs if they get free kills early. His style is interesting but it is undeniably bad in some games and he’s gotta be able to tell from champ select when to use it or not.
Okay then he'll never win every game. Does that mean he's trying to lose? I don't think so. He makes people play perfectly against him to win, it's just a high % winning. It's riot's fault, not those who use their system in a way they don't want it used.

Let's say enemy team plays Tryndamere top and your jungler perma invades in a way you can’t follow up as top laner and gifts 2 free kills to a trynda and then you can’t play top lane. Your jungle has a Strat in which he invades every game and gets a lead and it works for him some games, but he has no top or mid prio to do it so he shouldn't that game. He should get reported for doing it that game.

What I noticed with baus, is that despite being so many deaths behind, he is still matching his laners cs and higher level than his teammates. Just something to consider
He’s higher level than his teammates because he’s inflating his laners level then getting catch up experience by killing them. In essence, he’s accelerating the game.

These comments have to be a joke right? He dies for CS and plates, and then his team have to deal with a fed top/jg all game. Sure he might be pretty strong still because he has 10-15 deaths and he is sacrificing that for keeping "relevant" , but of course he has damage and gold when all he is doing is running into enemy team all game. The point is this playstyle literally forces the game to revolve around him, since he is more or less funneling gold to himself while enemies farm off him. Its just a toxic playstyle, that for sure can work, but its not fun to play with at all.

Every time someone innovates in this game, Riot nerfs it. Lane swaps, cheaty recalls, triplestack gank bot, support item top... the list goes on, and in this case thebausffs dying-on-purpose-is-not-inting strat gets patched out.

you'd have to look at dmg taken+mitigated, tower damage, they showed he did about as much damage as his entire team combined.
also the lvl 1 invade was really on graves and not rammus because the graves is ranged while rammus is not, so graves should have been in the bush or allowed baus to drag the buff into the bush
as far as abusing busted champions thats on riot and not on baus as well (do you think its bannable to play the items with highest winrates next because they are obviously OP?)

@@ReiDavizin yes i agree, the state of the game is that his team was not doing very well. the enemy had a good invade and twitch is always going to lose to akali and he never really tried to roam. baus made pretty decent plays and used the strengths of his champion. and he even solo killed jax 2x and got 2x 1000 gold bounties, took towers, and had ok team fights vs a fed enemy team, and was leading jax in gold the entire 2nd half of the game until his team got gold from taking all the base towers and won the game

@@zenonzazira it is a tradeoff, and as far as i'm aware there is no player that has a 100% winrate and no strategy that always wins. if you look at the gold over time, jax is never far ahead of rammus and even by 15 mins rammus pulls ahead of jax in gold until the very end of the game. it's ok for you not to understand things, but a smart man will always try to take knowledge away from new experiences

being permanently banned has nothing to do with how toxic he is, those are the rules: first ban: 14 days, 2nd ban during the same season: perma. also bans due to amount of deaths are automatic, this is not a message from riot, its his own fault to get banned by the automatic system. also i think the way the system detects feeders is fine, if everyone else can play the game normally without getting banned and he is the only player who has this issue, then maybe the fault is not in the algorithm, but in his playstyle, just a thought, you cant keep making the same mistakes and blame it on everybody else, its him who has to change, thats it, i dont care how viable his strategy is, if his account is banned, then its basically a silver4 strategy, since thats where new accounts are ranked at.

Whether or not he wins, his strat holds the lobby hostage, either he wins on his own merit or his team gets shit on by the giga fed top and jungle. Its not healthy to allow it even if he does win with it, its like if Midlane roamed bot to take their waves but they had a positive winrate with the strat in Masters, youre making your teams experience bad.
Every jungler who farms till 6 holds the lobby hostage. Its a 5 v 4 game while 1 selfish player does their own thing. Yeah I agree those players should all get perma banned from ranked. But they don't so neither should this guy.,
And where is the line? If one jungler plays an early game ganking jungler and the other team has a scaling farming jungler, does the scaling jungler need to be banned? Two things on this take; in solo Q you should only trust yourself to carry. You can't trust the other 4 guys on your team. Second, if it's a strategy that is working against the normal playstyle and has huge success, maybe it should be the normal playstyle.

DESERVED! Averaging 13 deaths a game in the last 15 games on that accounts. REFUSING to back EVER! 1v4 engages while flaming and reporting teammates (while inting). ALWAYS talks about how strong he is and weak his team is. YES you are strong. HOWEVER, you have inted enormous amounts of gold to the enemy top and jungle (sometimes mid too when they roam) that they use against your teammates. Meanwhile you afk split push/proxy int with NO map cover (even though 90% of high elo players have 2 screens and your jungler's ask you too).
If you can get rank 16 in 3 weeks (NOT dying 13-20 times a game in this run btw). Then dying 13-22 times consistently in master games is trolling/int'ing and he admits it on his stream all the time after the fact. "Yeah I need to stop trolling (after engaging 3v1 or 4v1)" comments ect...
BTW the Twitch (was very nice while Bauss was int'ing) who Bauss was flaming was FINE until the fed Kha'zix took part in killing him 4 of his 6 deaths. Flaming Graves after it is partly his fault red got stolen (part graves). Then 100% his fault Graves can't match him because he is far behind in gold and exp and gets 3shot.
Lastly, I'll say everyone I have seen agree's with Bauss at the end about "most damage and Graves". Graves cannot do anything vs a fed Jax; and when Kha'zix is also fed enough to dam near 3 shot you (auto, q, auto, e, out of a bush. Then graves runs for his life). He cannot contest objectives because bot and mid also lost (mid due to Kha'zix). You have to think about the game state; not just the numbers...

I actually think Riot is to blame. I agree with banning Baus but only because I have always been extremely against ANY passive or dynamic where Sion, Kog'Maw, Karthus and maybe a champ I forgot, benefit from needing and embracing death. This is fundamentally toxic to the game of league of legends and makes very problematic ethics and tactical weighting to an average human's brain let alone highly or low intelligent brain.
The issue is that if intentionally feeding can GENUINELY be optimal, not is optimal but can be perceived that way, due to the kit champions have, then why the fuck would somebody not consistently be inting on that champion and building in a way that works well with this forcing of 1 for 1 deaths or 1 death for a tower etc?
I do not main those 3 champions and fundamentally refuse to ever play them as I think their passives make them toxic and unhealthy to the way league of legends is meant to be played. All champions except those 3 (again, it's possible I forgot 1) have an axiom of playing safe and minimising deaths being optimal.
@@RassionellMaddman kogmaw's passive is actually useless, it does next to nothing compared to the other two, and karthus' one is there for him ot get his ult off after he dies, like the idea that he can still ult to finish a fight if he dies, which considering a lot of his damgage needs him to be close to others makes some sense. Sion's passive is probably the worst by far but unless building lethality or tower diving bot lv1 its mostly uselesss, and lethality is worse than tank objectively and unless ist a super bot meta the sion passive isnt that bad.
the toxic playstyle is much worse when it gets buffed but after the nerf it is optimal to play safe on all 3 champions in every situation unless you are losing a huge wave, in which case any champ would probably suicide for the minions anyway
the toxic style is more int now than ever and its just dumb at that point. its not playing optimally so it is just worse off and just an int playstyle usually.

At the end of the day Baus has been challenger every season he wants to be. Most of his haters are people in bronze, silver, and gold. He could obviously work on some things in his play style, but the guy has really found out a unique way to maintain good gold income, and constant map pressure. People who recreate the wheel and think outside the norm should be given some credit. Especially when they are doing it at the highest levels of competition. Baus doesn’t play on a Smurf account to post trash content against people he’s way better than. He tests his unique play styles against the top % of people on the game. Not saying he’s perfect, just saying people don’t need to try to make him feel like a complete waste of life. I really enjoy his content (most of the time 😂)

About that reddit post, y'all need to understand that the baus is not losing more games because he dies more, but he dies more because he's losing, in the sense that if he's getting stomped, he will still use his aggressive playstyle and since enemy is fed they will kill him more often. That doesnt mean that if he goes 2/12 and then he starts avoiding deaths he will win.

@@Kek393 If you have seen him play illaoi or sion, you must have seen him make crazy low risk high reward plays. When he's 0/10 he doesnt give any gold to enemies but he's always relatively strong because he always gets resources. So if he goes bot at 25 min as 0/10 sion and he manages to destroy tier 2 and bring people on him plus trade a kill or two while being worth 0 gold and his team also gets nashor, thats a very good play and it will work 99% of the time if you know what you're doing. Hes not been randomly challenger for i dont know how many seasons, his playstyle works perfect for him, maybe sometimes recently he has soft inted but hes a good player. The problem with baus is that he has a lot of viewers and they will try to do the same thing while having 2% of the knowledge he has

There used to be a report that was "unskilled player" which has since been removed because being bad/losing shouldn't be a reportable offense. Bauss is queueing with the intention to win, if his strategy to do so is bad he shouldn't be banned he should just not be as high elo
he's not queuing with intention to win on stream. His ap irelia is just completely grief and when he's off stream and playing on his challenger account he wins a lot with a lot less deaths usually and doesnt play most of the builds that he does on stream. he knows what he's doing is int and its just trolling his team at that point.
