it's not in his hands if he gets banned or not. it's a known fact that spam reporting will perma ban players without any riot employee ever even looking at the games' scores they were reported for. you can report all 9 players every game and you will get endless "the player you reported has been punished" messages. and the ban appeal never works.

As someone who watched his streams for years, in December 2022 he literally just started force fighting every matchup no matter what if he couldn't proxy. That's why he dies all the time, he purposefully doesn't ward and overextended every time to "absorb pressure" aka get collapsed on and punished. Ironically, january 2023 is when he started spam inting with irelia, a very blatant situation that every fanboy of his copes about. His Sion strat was heavily gutted at the start of 2022 and that entire year he stubbornly still played lethality sion even when his Q did zero damage and the build was blatantly shit. December is also around the time he moved into his own place and got a girlfriend, he clearly doesn't give af anymore, has an ego, and wants to paycheck collect. And he'll gaslight all of his fans constantly about his gameplay

I've had accounts permbanned from mass reports recently one of my accounts got muted for talking about ward skins thankfully a ticket got it unmuted but imagine bans like these where you don't have the fallback proof other then how automation and a riot employee who might not even understand the game enough to make these decisions.

I think instead of a perm maybe an additional lp loss when verified inting happens for that player. A removal from the game for a unique play style is a bit much.

it makes me absolutely disgusted, a few months ago i got chat restricted because a guy on the enemy team on aram had a name that was a reference from an alice in chains song, so i typed a verse from the song "name your good and bleed the freak" in allchat, to which he replied with the next verse - boom, chat restricted - and when i requested to see the chatlog and an explanation, the person told me: "we want everyone to have a positive experience and it is our goal to root out all negativity from the game, no matter how big or small", sounds like a line from orwell if you ask me

Top lane is just torture. You have the most broken 1v5 champs but you typically need to farm and scale/ or bully your opponent hard to get the gold for the times. And just one jungle

There are some streamers who constantly spam pings at team mates to tilt them cos they're angry. Or mass report their whole team when they lose, even if their team were playing ok & not raging. They dont get banned for those things. Baus doesnt do things like that, he's a really positive person who brings joy to thousands. It makes me lose faith in humanity that so many want him permabanned. The report system is broken, every other game people ask for reports when they lose, it has turned almost the entire community into sadistic vigilantes. It reminds me of the Milgram experiment.

But there's also a difference between things that you shouldn't do vs things that should get you banned - like irl how there are things that you shouldn't do but aren't illegal. Especially for permanent bans. But I'm not saying someone locking in AP graves for the first time in a masters game should be protected from any repercussions just because they're "trying out a suboptimal pick".
It can really be case-by-case which is why Riot should have people monitoring high elo games by hand - there aren't that many and keeping the high elo streaming community thriving is absolutely vital to maintaining the game.

This is how league works, after you get behind. You either sit back, be useless and get further behind or you die a lot while trying to have influence on the game.

The changes to ranked aren't to make people feel better, common misconception. It's because the player base is getting older and has less time (jobs, family etc.), so they need to make it less grindy to retain players and revenue.
I don't play league and I am confused. Do people get banned just for having bad games? It is pretty clear Baus isn't intentionally trying to lose, so why is it even a question if he should be banned when he has a couple bad games?
It's not a couple of bad games. He plays a certain playstyle that is very greedy amd focused on himself and he forces his teammates to play the game his way or lose. All he cares about is his income amd how much gold he can generate and dosent really care how fed his laner gets. Given he isn't actively trying to lose I can see why u get frustrated being his team mate when someone locks in full crit thresh top and creates a monster enemy top laner

report system is a little wonky sometimes and him having a bad track record (regardless of whether that track record is deserved or not) makes him more susceptible to receive punishment. if you're more questioning about people's opinions on it, it's because the vast, vast, vast, vast, vast majority of people are not actually good at this game but think they are experts and/or like to get their opinions from reddit or literally anyone else because god forbid they have to think for themselves for a change and maybe actually analyze some data or genuinely form enough of a thought to ask some real questions and actually listen to the responses.

If a streamer genuinely believes that their job is more challenging than being a marine or a doctor, they must have reached an incredibly egoistic and narcissistic state of mind. They would also have to be extremely delusional. How can one even have the audacity to compare a soldier who goes to war or a doctor who saves lives and faces death regularly to playing League of Legends full-time?
It depends on the criteria, its certainly more competitive! There are probably more doctors in a single city than league streamers who do it for a living.

Since there was mention of dissatisfaction with rank progress. It feels that people dont drop ranks enough, making mmr fall below your visible rank. At the point you improve and start playing better it might take over 50 games just to fix the LP gains.
The ranked system is completely rigged, I've played ranked almost daily from 2017 through 2022, and have recently been playing some SoloQ. I have multiple smurf accs, one in particular that's in silver that I use to test builds. I've had loss streaks on that acc by playing normally, you just get literally inting teammates, some games I just can't win unless I play some climbing strat or literally tryhard. I have Platinum accounts with Diamond ELO and 70% wr where I get normal teammates and win most games. There's no way I win games in platinum/diamond elo and lose games in silver. The thing is, the game expects you to be much better than your current rank to actually climb, which is almost never the case, most people have the ELO of the rank they're in. The system also makes you forcibly lose games by matching you with fills, negative winrate players, or putting smurfs against normal elo players, you can instantly tell you're in one of those games when more than one teammate asks to swap roles (they're autofilled), you can also compare your team's opggs against the enemy team's, you will notice your ADC is probably ~40%> wr while the enemy ADC is ALWAYS ~60%+, that's how this game is rigged, I'm 100% sure, I've been taking note of these patterns for a really long time now
I'm not a fan of him being banned over this because he didn't intentionally grief. He's picking an off-meta pick, sure. But hes actively trying to win, and I don't like the idea of just banning a playstyle that doesn't align with the meta. He's high rank for a reason, what he does obviously works.

His play style is good for Sion because his passive, thats it. Him inting for better wave position or more cs on other champs just isnt worth it. Sion scales and obviously has his passive. He needs to change his play style when he’s using other champs, because he’s just straight up inting at this point.

tip for facing shaco: when you are right clicking on shaco, and he is about to ult, press nothing, dont right click again, your champ will auto start attacking the right shaco if you dont give it any other order to do, so in short, just right click on him and then stop clicking opn him when he ults, and boom :D , not usefull for all situations but it does help when playing auto champs

Look, when he played quinn, gragas and sion I was down, he inted on sion but it had purpose, he won games because of that playstile, and the other 2 he just played normally. But these thresh and ap irelia and stuff like that is activelly inting in my opinion.

If he has a lot of deaths, it's an indicator for inting, but not necessarily it.
Turret dmg, champ dmg, cc score, vision etc can still be better than the rest!
I really like this idea, a metric that assesses all of these factors, especially vision score. As far as I can imagine it would be virtually impossible to run it down and have decent scores on all of these metrics. Would suck to lose your account which you’ve invested years into the game you enjoy.
Yeah it's pretty unfair only judging by the amount of deaths. I mean baus almost always have the most turret damage. At 10 deaths you only give away 150 gold so idk why they made the system that way if it's not going to be used? Fucking riot setting useless rules once again. And when you get a kill it's reset so at that point it's just more worth farming

As a bronze 4 player who's played 15 games with WW jungle I can with certainty say that my brain trembles whenever I got 1v2'd with 10% hp left and exit the fight with 2 shutdowns and more health than I started with

Actions have consequences. As someone who watched his streams for years, in December 2022 he literally just started force fighting every matchup no matter what if he couldn't proxy. That's why he dies all the time, he purposefully doesn't ward and overextended every time to "absorb pressure" aka get collapsed on and punished. Ironically, january 2023 is when he started spam inting with irelia, a very blatant situation that every fanboy of his copes about. His Sion strat was heavily gutted at the start of 2022 and that entire year he stubbornly still played lethality sion even when his Q did zero damage and the build was blatantly shit. December is also around the time he moved into his own place and got a girlfriend, he clearly doesn't give af anymore, has an ego, and wants to paycheck collect. And he'll gaslight all of his fans constantly about his gameplay

From what I've heard most high elo players are sick of him, he might be a nice person IRL but almost no one wants him on their team. You can't get to challenger by intentionally losing games bro, that's the dumbest shit I've ever heard. His playstyle wins games, you need to accept this before trying to make arguments.
All that mathematical analysis proves is that higher deaths = losing or that losing = higher deaths. It's the very definition of nothing maths and proves absolutely nothing. You do realise that if you do that analysis on any player you will get the same result, the only difference being that baus starts getting a lower winrate at a higher death number compared to your average player.
On stream accounts are usually lower ranked for any streamer, he also plays for fun, which many streamers also do. Nothing wrong with playing a game for fun.

league community is so toxic, one of the reasons I quit. In the first game, baus actually played really good... he had good spacing and good trades patterns, but WW is too broken, basically overheals every damage. He got tilted by some deaths and focus started to get off. Players that he did encounter were really toxic.

He would still never kill Warwick with Diana camping him as hard, and that delay in this kind of pick and playstyle is litterally killing your own strat. You need to get asap to 3-4 items, exactly like Kayle or Kassadin do. If his jungler were better (not saying they were bad), one could probably get antiheal, but it would still be an unlikely gamble. There's not much of a problem about his game style, it's the region and players his playing on. People report him whether his winning or losing. If he wins, by the enemy, if he lose, by his teammates. RIOT has to do something about their reporting system.
its also partly because of negative kda. 1-12 start doesnt help. If you have reasonable deaths you wont get a permaban from the system.
Its better to afk jungle at 0-5 then to actually play the game and get more deaths to avoid ban by the system. The system is stupid
