As someone who's stayed at the Trixie Motel, please just book all 7 rooms for a day or two to film and review all the rooms. Aside from the hype from Trixie's HBO show about making the motel (highly recommend watching it), I went because it's so small, well gated so random people can't just walk onto the premises, 2 people max per room per night (I think it's an additional fee if you want more), and no kids allowed, so it seemed like a perfect stop during a solo trip. I would have also been staring if a bunch of people started filming where I'm just trying to chill out.
FYI to anyone wanting to check it out without getting a room, they started offering online reservations to get food and drinks in the lounge to non-guests sometime in the last year and a half.
100/10, highly recommend Trixie Motel

If anyone is wondering the Taylor swift Barbie house is called the Lavender Haze Playce. It’s in Phoenix, Arizona and right now, it’s 419$ a night I doubt it will stay like that but if you’re interested you can look up the name and find the information. Hope this helped😁

Fun fact! Yellow and orange bedrooms are aggressively discouraged because they can actually affect melatonin production and cause sleep disorders like insomnia. The whole colour theory with how to decorate your house IS scientifically proven to be true! Like, painting a room light blue or white makes the room feel cold and clinical and can actually cause anxiety because we associate those colours with hospitals, Dr's and winter, ice and cold. Painting a room red can cause passion or anger and make a room feel too warm, a green room can cause serenity and peace as we associate it with summer and nature, a brown room can cause claustrophobia and anxiety as we subconsciously feel buried underground. A black bedroom is actually promoted as it can improve sleep quality and melatonin production, has been proven to reverse and lower the symptoms of insomnia and if, like me, you suffer with migraines a black bedroom is VERY beneficial - source, I'm a biologist who is a little audhd obsessed with this stuff lol

I'm surprised you didn't go to the Madonna Inn in California and stay in one of their rooms to really get a themed experience. They truly are one of the pioneers of the themed experiences. My parents used to go there when I was growing up in the 70's and 80's and they've renovated it ❤

My older Sister still has the first Barbie that was made. She has every wig still and her gold and white lamé bathing suit plus the case is still intact! I guess since I ended giving all my dolls mustaches and hair cuts (and worse😂) I didn't get a Barbie, I was given a Francie doll, which was supposed to be Barbie's cousin. I'll never forget the disappointment that Christmas opening up the gift I was sure had Barbie inside. I even remember the temper tantrum I had when I saw Francie and not Barbie 😂
Smart move on my parents part because I only have dolls from my childhood that were given to me by my maternal Grandmother, who I loved so much.
I've got errands to run but I'll be back shortly to watch, this is going to be fun!
Props for almost getting exfoliated by that gustnado! xD Not a tornado, to be sure... a dust devil, as they call them sometimes. Way less powerful/dangerous. They also happen on Mars when the surface gets heated, and they are great to clean the martian dust off the Rovers' solar panels! They've extended the life of NASA missions! 🌪
Yep very nice dust devil. And yeah they kind of suck if you get caught in one 😂 I've had that happen a couple of times playing softball as a kid in Oklahoma.
@ I saw one when I was visiting Vancouver island, of all places.. 😅 And I admit I was scared… but only because it was a tiny gravel parking lot and I was driving a brand spanking new rental car I wasn’t sure was insured properly… 😰 hahaha
