I have the same problem, all the sensors have 5v, I haven’t tried disconnecting the transmission. I’ll do that tomorrow. Hopefully it fixes the problem! Great video!
I had the same problem on a 99 dodge 5.9 liter , I changed the crank sensor , the ecm and the plenium gasket with new thermostat and the truck runs cooler now and I haven't seen a no bus in bout 4 months , seen another video were a guy found bad grounds on the trans shift solinoid and he replaced them and it fixed his problem , weird issue with this year dodge
Hey I've got a No Bus on my 02 3500.. runs and drives, no overdrive and button doesn't work, no gauges work other than RPM, check engine fuel abs brake and some other dummy lights on, no OBD communication. Not sure what the issue is. I've done the cluster diagnostics the gauges work when doing the test, but not sure what it can be. Where should I start with diagnosing this?
@@HergyBear78 I have not figured it out yet and I've had this thing since about March 24' I did send my ecu off to be refurbished, but they said it is shot and unrepairable. So I will be continuing to search for another ecu. I'm thinking a used one and sending it off for refurbishing / reprogramming the VIN
Most of the time you will find it is the connector at the transmission. Sometimes you can clean both sides of the connector with brake parts cleaner, let it dry and re- assemble. Other times you will find bare wires at the connector. In that case the connector needs to be replaced
I got a 1999 Dodge ram 2500 4x4 I'm having trouble with my fuel gauge it's not working I changed the fuel pump and the cluster and still not working I thinking it can be wires or something because it says low voltage sending unit ?
If I remember correctly, the same ground wire that is used for the in tank pump is the ground for the sending unit. If tat is correct, and the truck runs, it has to be the sending unit wire. I find a bunch of broken wires on these in the drivers fender under the plastic liner.

What color is the ground wire underneath the fender?
