You guys should do some old reactions of legendary lines, Crown 09 with Lee, BD 12-15 with Scott/Rudy, Cadets 13 with Collin, old Phantom/newer SCV with Paul.
Soooooo glad that Lee is back with old school mixed in with new school. Have a lot of respect for this man. Judged with him many years ago. Don’t get me wrong, Johnson has the titles but Lee has way more heart and defining effects on the cadets than any corps. Keep it up Lee!!!!!
Cadets were 🔥🔥 this year. I think they made the biggest jump from last year of all the top 5 percussion sections as far as content and just being piss clean.
Like Buddy Rich used to say: The Apprentice takes the easy and makes it look difficult(HS, College) while the Master takes the impossible and makes it look easy(DCI).
A little random, but i'd love to get you guys reactions from shows that you both have marched, both indoor and outdoor. Lot and full show reacts would be awesome. It'd just be cool to hear more about your experience from you guys perspective

Absolutely EXCELLENT interview and reaction! First Colin McNutt and now Lee - WOW! Very impressed by everything this podcast is doing. I can't express how much I love Beddis's writing, especially the masterful introduction of the battery in this show. It's wonderful to see you guys talk with the designers and get insight into their process - incredible work!
The point about the Easter eggs throughout the season is perfect. I had dinner before a show a couple of years back with some 2010s vets, and some 2000s vets and my old 90s butt, and my oldest daughter was along, she got a kick out of the fact that we all had similar funny or horror stories about tour and so on. It doesn't really change.
Very cool interview! Loved the Cadets' show this year. The battery writing and execution were incredible. There was tons a variety yet a lovely continuity throughout. Can't wait to see what next year brings for them! 🤘
Did I just hear Salem VA? I live there! Been to the DCI show here the past two years, my only real exposure. I want to audition for some corps, but there are no VA based corps whatsoever
From a livelong citizen of Louisville. Just remember KENTUCKY IS NOT in the Midwest. Kentucky is a COMMONWEALTH IN THE SOUTH !! Although, we can get some Ohio Valley weather,we are not a part of the Midwest !! Cheers to my friend Lee Beddis for a great season with The Cadets this year !! It is unfortunate they have to take a year off after such a great season !
