I love this!! Thank you for sharing! It warms my heart to see the bunnies together and hopping around freely! I've been researching angora care in hopes of adding some to our farm next year. I grew up with dwarf bunnies running free together in our yard and garden but was dismayed to see all the angora articles advocate for cage living individually. So thank you for this inspiration and giving them such good quality of life. ❤️
Thank you! I have tried all kinds of different ways to house them. Cages have their place, but if you can at least get the bunnies in the grass at least for part of the day, they are much more healthy.
I have the Eglo Go Up for my three chickens, and they absolutely love it. I just got my first angora rabbits (baby boys) a week ago, and I’m so excited about it, and in the process to figuring out housing options for them.
They are really great designs! I would definitely look into the rabbit hutches! There is a coupon code for 10% off until June 16 if you decide to go that route!
The other day I put a few of our bucks in our old chicken tractor (no chickens :) ) They love it. I don't like that they dig holes everywhere. Do you rabbits dig?
I do have ones that like to dig. When we had rabbit tractors we moved them daily and that helped. We also could attach chicken wire underneath to stop them from digging. These two girls have been digging the last few days. I had a good layer of pea stone down. Today I put some heavier stone down also. That seems to have stopped them...for now!
Could a small litter box fit inside? I'd love to dump that instead of cleaning the whole tray daily
Yes, but I have had very few issues with having to clean it up. They are only in here at night and seem not to use it as a liter box.
