YES! LOL it was a BUSY day, but certainly worth it. Of course, if you’re able to - a longer stay can certainly be justified. However, if you’re primarily going to be in Madrid, a day trip is perfect!
Thank you for this video…I’ll be in Madrid in April and was planning a day trip to Sevilla. I can see from your video that it’s totally doable. And it’s so beautiful in Sevilla.
11:27 I studied abroad at the Universidad de Sevilla in the Fall of 2007. That particular campus used to be The Royal Tobacco Factory. I remember when the Tranvia (Tram) opened in October of 2007; it actually derailed between Archivo de Indias and Puerta Jerez on the first day of service, but at least service was free the first day even though there were only four stops. ☺ (I think there's a fifth now.) At the beginning of the semester I would walk to class down Constitution Ave, passed the Cathedral and Archivo de Indias while watching out for the trams while they were doing their driver trainings. Of course, once tram service began I got lazy and took the tranvia every day. However, I still had to walk down Tetuan street by all of the boutiques to get to Plaza del Duque. Question: Did you get to ride the metro in Sevilla? It was under construction when I was there, and I think opened it 2009 or '10. 21:03 WOW! That's definitely new!
Thanks for sharing the informative video. Did you guys visit during December? We are planning this in December so wanted to see if its worth doing day trip due to shorter daylight hours.
Thank you for this great video :) We're gonna go Sevilla from Turkiye in March :) Do you think 2 hours is enough time to reach the train station from the Madrid airport?
You’re going to have a great time! I think so. As long as you’ve already passed through control and have your items. If it’s from time of landing… that might be a little close.
Thank you!! We bought the tickets when we got there. There was a little bit of a queue but it moved quickly. We probably spent 15 minutes in line, and then we went right in.
Thanks for the video, my husband and I plan to do this day trip in June. What time did you catch the train back? And was the 79 euro per person round trip?
Excellent video y'all!!! I definitely want to check out Sevilla now.
:) yea ! It was fantastic !
OMG! The history and architecture in Sevilla are breathtaking! I can’t believe you did all of that in one day! Such a beautiful city 😍😍😍

I know you had breakfast there, but what about lunch or dinner?
Besides breakfast, we only had snacks there. We ate dinner when we got back.
Really nice video. Did you buy tickets for the Alcazar in advance or on site?
