I think each part of the Plaza de España represents one of the 54 provinces. There is a map and a scene from the history of the province for each one. I love it! It's been 25 years since we visited Sevilla so forgive me if my memory is fuzzy.
It was built for the world’s fair and each province would have pamphlets or information on their province to get people to come and visit. Sevilla is my second home ♥️
Amazing video. Love your last stop in Spain. You guys did a awesome job. The holding hands and walking shows are so lovely. This is a great Rom-Com video. Sevilla is so beautiful and huge mushroom structure is beautiful wooden architecture and the drone shots are spectacular (out if this world). Looks like you got the best seat for the flamenco show; I felt I am watching it live. Thanks for your sharing. The food looks so amazing and ornaments are so cute. Have a safe journey back to US. Well deserved break, coming back home for the holidays. Wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Wish your 2022 another banner year. Can’t wait for your next amazing video.
I had another grandparent from Sevilla. I might even have cousins there I don't even know. The greatest story I ever heard was my grandma grew up in Pamplona and she stood out on her balcony and watched the running of the bulls. Imagine that. Thanks for sharing.
Wow running of the bulls from her balcony! Amazing!! You should see if you can contact your cousins if you can! It'd be a cool connection. Thanks for watching!
Happy and sad all rolled into one! My favorite part of Sevilla were those beautiful tiled benches that Chad explained! Those tiles were absolutely beautiful! And, I liked the mushroom thingy at night more than during the day! I'm happy you will be with your families for Christmas but sad we will have to wait for more videos! We actually bought a camper today!!! We instantly connected to the people that we bought it from and were telling them about you guys! Guess what? They knew who you were!!! Their sister had actually used Claire's dad's laudromat!!!! It is a very small world and we should all "cherish the little things!" Love to you both!!!!
Congrats on your new camper!!! That's SO exciting!! You'll have to text me a picture of it! It's a small world indeed and we can't believe they knew Jason!! He is always telling everyone about our TH-cam! Merry Christmas and happy New Year!!
Fun vlog guys! I recently finished up 2-3 weeks in southern Spain too! There is so much beauty in this part of the country, I ended up vlogging almost everywhere I went!
Hi Claire & Chad, the flamenco performance sounds wonderful! I like that it was more of an intimate setting between the performers and the audience. Great pick, Chad!
Sevilla was also on my trip through Spain! Paella is amazing, but I had to strong-arm my friend to try it. She wasn't as enamored as I was. I can't believe how much you guys can eat! I don't remember the variety, but I do remember chocolate y churrros for breakfast. That was too rich for me. I love the pan and frittata.
Thanks for your great vid! I just want to mention one thing about the "orange" you tried. It's not actually orange. It looks like an orange tree, but it's "the lily" tree. It doesn't taste like orange. It's very soured and "disgusting" to eat, but it's a very good tree to make the perfume from its blossom and street decoration too. During the blossoming season in Spring, you could tell the difference between an orange tree blossom and a lily tree blossom from its look and smell. Have fun guys! Enjoy your trip! Cheers,
Loved your visit to Seville! The oranges in Seville are used to make marmalade which is sold to the U.K. for our huge marmalade consumption.. I learnt that there on a visit. We Brits do love our Maramalde on toast for breakfast. Can’t wait for your continued trip in ‘22… but I’m hoping for a Xmas special 🎄🎄🎄. Possible? Let’s see how you celebrate Xmas in the states. You are the best thing on the internet. Bringing the sunshine to us all in all ways as the darker and colder days draw in. Keeeeep going.
You guys are so great ,its been a great year of watching you two travel ,i love love your work .and for sure am wishing you happy holiday....so trip home for the holidays for sure..
We(me and my wife) just got back from Seville and happened to come across your channel and became instantly one of your fans. Thanks for the great videos and hope you to keep up the great work and be happy. Gracias from Tunis.
Sevilla is so beautiful 😍, definitely the flamenco show is so special. I was there with my sister many years ago and love the night life. Have a wonderful time home and I hope to see you in 2022! Merry Christmas 🎁🎄
I enjoyed the video immensely. Thought the chair that Chad made out cardboard while in school was ingenious. Claire and Chad produce super travel videos! Seville, Spain was one of the super travel videos too.
Great video guys, i love your freshness. Oranges there are bitter, as they belong to a species dedicated to marmalade. Sad you didn't make it to the Alcazar, I love it and some people consider it better than the Alhambra. Next time!
Wow, the wood structure was insane ❤️. The tile work, beyond beautiful. Sad the orange trees were not great oranges, there’s nothing like fresh picked oranges yummm. Wish we could have seen more of the dancers, but I’m glad you took time off recording and enjoyed the experience. Hope you have safe travels back home, have a great xmas with family. Enjoy the break from traveling , looking forward to where you take us next year. So merry Christmas and happy new year’s 🎄🎉🎊 ❤️🌸🌺
- The orange trees in Seville, same as in other cities, are just ornamental, of a variety which oranges are not eatable. - 4:20’ you are actually at the Royal Palace in Naboo 😉
Hi Chad and Clarie! Thanks for sharing this great video. Do you mind sharing where you watched the flamenco show and did you buy tickets in advance? I'm planning to visit next month.
GREAT work both of you🧡We had no idea about that sweet wood "Setas" structure nor the bookshelves in the Plaza de España for different provinces in Spain? You learn something new everyday when you're watching Chad and Claire vlogs haha. Bestest of wishes to you and your families this holiday season and truly eager to see where you two go in the new year! 🥳✈
Hi! I’m from Barcelona and I’m so proud it’s not only my city which is being visited in Spain. It brings me so many memories from my last trips around the country! You won a new lifelong subscriber. It was a pleasure having you in Spain and I wish you guys the best for your incoming trips!
Thank you both for another amazing video. The architectural building that you walk under that looks 3 D is pretty beautiful. The cardboard chair that chad made back in college is really cool. Never seen anything like that. Wishing you two safe travels back to the states and for you both to have a merry Xmas and happy new year and for both your families. Enjoy your time with family and friends ❤️ can’t wait for next year when you two start traveling again 🎁🎉🥰
Hey guys! Loved your video! Now you can enjoy the holidays! I wish you both THE HAPPIEST HOLIDAYS! Looking forward to more great vid's in the future. Love from Destin Florida. 🌈🌞🌺🏝🌲🎁❄☃️
Ok, oranges. When they are ripe, they fall off the tree.If they are public trees, they are picked up (like any city cleaning gardens you are all enjoying on your trip -- someone has to do ir, right?) As an American living in Spain, I've found that if you pick them too early, they are sour. If they fall off or you shake it, the ready ones drop. Our tree gives loads of fresh sweet orange juice every day at particular times of year and I've juiced fresh oranges ever since. Cheers guys! Keep learning. XO
Oh you missed the Alcázar!! 🤦♂️. I am sure you will visit so many more countries, but you can esily make a round 2 in Spain, as you have some more jewels left (Córdoba and the Mosque, Cadiz (oldest city in Europe and the dunes), Palma de Mallorca (those beaches...), Santiago (world pilgrimage), Rioja region (wine wine wine)....). Thanks for your videos, they are really great!
DIY Flamenco ornament so adorable....one of my best friends live in Spain, I am going to ask her about those oranges. Another great video. Keep on advertising Patreon, I will join after Christmas expenses go bye bye and others will too, give us time and don't give up. God bless and Feliz Navidad.
the oranges in the streets of Seville or other cities are not sweet because they are form a specific specires. They use it to make a licor and marmelade (they put lot of sugar). You can buy it in the city, and there is a company that the city hall hires to recolect all the oranges when is februry
About the oranges! Here in Seville, street oranges are collected but not for consumption, and it's because of pollution. They're not healthy to eat. Anyway you don't need to worry because you tasted it once haha
Can you share where you bought the tickets and which flamenco show did you choose? I have plans to visit Seville next spring and I would love to experience more private show like this one. Another great video from you guys , hope you'll enjoy the holidays with your family and friends 🥰
Wonderful conclusion to your Spanish tourism segment! I’m really hoping this Omicron Variant doesn’t alter your travel plans for 2022….it’s even affecting those who are fully vaccinated! Please stay happy, healthy and safe, and have an awesome Holiday Season 🎄⛄️🎅🏼🎁
I think you have made a big mistake by not entering the "Real Alcazar". You could have seen Islamic, Mudejar, Renaissance and Gothic art, not to mention the great halls of the palace and the fountains in the gardens. Here was filmed the Kingdom of Dorne from Game of Thrones. Please, if you come back, do not miss it. Also look for the "Archivo de Indias" which is the archive of all the documentation of the shipments to America since 1942.
This is an example of how even the most clueless travelers ever can start a TH-cam Channel about traveling. On a good note, this is a video on "How to miss the best of Sevilla".
Oranges from those trees are bitter, not sweet ones. You can only use to make marmalade or something like that. They actually pick them up once every year.

sad you didn't visit the alcazar or Casa Pilatos :/ . You lost two wonders of our world. The Gardens of the Alcazar are just form other wolrd. And the view at the sunset from the mushrooms is one you never forget. You also forgot the Plaza de America, next to Plaza España. You will have to go back to Seville!!

I study abroad there for 6 months, still one of my most favorite places to live, I’m so glad you got to visit as well!
Beautiful place to study! Thanks for watching! :D
Oranges of Sevilla we sell to the British for marmalade and we use it for seasoning olives.

Seville is amazing... such a lovely walkable city... i love Alcazar and Plaza Espana.. very slow pace life in Andalusia.
You will always be welcome to Spain.
We were just in Seville and saw the same flamenco show. It was great! Glad you loved it too
Sevilla was also on my trip through Spain! Paella is amazing, but I had to strong-arm my friend to try it. She wasn't as enamored as I was. I can't believe how much you guys can eat! I don't remember the variety, but I do remember chocolate y churrros for breakfast. That was too rich for me. I love the pan and frittata.

These oranges are colected for making jam. Very preciated in England.
Hi Chad and Claire I enjoyed watching your video. Your video is very cool. Have a great time in Sevilla.
Loved when you danced and twirled Claire around at the 4 min mark -like John Lennon and Yoko. Wonderful video.
Bravo to your Spain journey!
Sevilla is so beautiful 😍, definitely the flamenco show is so special. I was there with my sister many years ago and love the night life. Have a wonderful time home and I hope to see you in 2022! Merry Christmas 🎁🎄

Nice video! It wasn’t just your orange; all the oranges are bitter in seville. Many of them are actually shipped to Great Britain to make marmalade.
Thanks for the info! Makes sense haha

Oranges in the streets of Seville are harvested once a year to make a bitter sweet jam which is delicious .

Hi! which flamenco show did you guys choose? thanks in advance!
www.lacasadelflamencosevilla.com/
^There is the website to the place we went! Hope you enjoy!
Like your video! I'm thinking of retiring to Spain next year. BTW, the oranges are used to make marmalade, not to eat. lol
this oranges are used to made bitter jam, much appreciated in UK
Plaza de España was a location for a Star Wars saga, and Reales Alcázares one of the many Spanish locations in Game of Thrones🙂
The variety of oranges on the trees are "Seville" oranges. They are only for making marmalade and to add an orange smell to the city.
About the oranges!

@@ChadandClaire Thank you!!
The cardboard chair project you mentioned... were you studying industrial design?
Hahaha, We totally did the same thing with the oranges on the trees in Spain. So bad!
Where did u see the flamenco show ? What place in Seville ?
Where was the flamenco show? What was the name of the place? How much were the tickets?
Will you guys be doing the Camino de Santiago walk?
We are currently not planning to, but maybe one day!

Oranges from urban orange trees in Spain are not edible. I remember when I was a kid also learnt it the hard way xd
What is the Flamenco show name or theathre?
La casa del flamenco. Auditorio Alcántara.
C/Ximenez de Enciso.
What is the name of the flamenco show you went to?
oranges are okay - when we visited we had those and they were fine. But they make orange marmalade out of eat - they do not use it for raw eating.
Where can we book that flamico show?
On Santa Cruz quarter. C/Ximenez de Enciso. It's called "casa del flamenco".
Oranges from those trees are bitter, not sweet ones. You can only use to make marmalade or something like that. They actually pick them up once every year.
The oranges are the sort you make traditional marmalade from not for eating or juicing. 😂
It will be very helpful if you leave a name of places that you visited
we are trying to decide on a trip to Spain or Portugal. Did you guys have a favorite between the two?
What Flamenco show was it?
On Santa Cruz quarter. C/Ximenez de Enciso. It's called "casa del flamenco".
🙋🏽♀️My Dear’s 💕How are you both today❔Looks like another beautiful beautiful ☀️day 😃let’s roll
Actually oranges are a type of orange that is only used for a meet sauce for its bitterness.
These oranges from Seville streets are not sweet, are bitter. Oranges are sent to England where are used to make orange marmalade.
Hi, everyone knows that the orange is acid, town hall recolect them every year and make marmalade
I watched a 13min video to have absolutely no idea by the end of it about where I can find this flamenco venue. 😢
On Santa Cruz quarter. C/Ximenez de Enciso. It's called "casa del flamenco"
The oranges are all bitter. I think they may be used for marmalade.

Big mistake guys, not entering the reales alcázares ☹️
No all the oranges in Seville are bitter. Its just the wrong climate to grow them and taste good. LOL
