As a person from Norway your next song should really be Sabaton - Saboteurs. It's about the men that sabotaged the heavy water plant in Telemark during WW2.
My take on Sabaton is they try to educate rather than glamourise stories of war. They have their own history channel and shoot animated films to allow people to learn more about the various conflicts and events they sing about. Try "Christmas Truce" or "No Bullets Fly". Not necesarily as a reaction (it would be good if you did) but for your own pleasure. The animated film version of No Bullets Fly has the entire backstory of this particualr event from WW2. Really moving. Also, the guitar player on the right side of the stage as we viewed them is called Tommy Johansson. He has his own youtube channel and creates some of the finest metal covers of regular songs that I have ever heard. Everything from Black Sabbath to Disney tunes. His singing voice is incredible. Well worth browsing through his channel. Great to have you back on youtube.
Thank you Shadegate! Its good to have you here! Im sorry the audio was a bit messy on this video. Did you struggle to hear me? Thank you for your recommendations. I want to hear more Sabaton , and i might check out the guitarists youtube Channel 😊 ⭐ Love and peace ❤️🙏❤️
@@Magnereacts Maybe a little bit more sound on you would be better, but it was fine :) Sabaton a really intresting band - give perspectives, regardless to sides, and refresh the memories of forgotten battles, people, place, we should remember for (to not commit the same mistakes again).
Sabaton is a Swedish power metal band from Falun, which was formed in 1999. The band's songs are inspired by various historical wars. Even the band name is military inspired, as Sabaton is also the name of the part of the armor that covers the foot.
I am 2weeks into learning to sing this in Swedish! (I live in California, not Swedish) that performance live moved me so much I wanted to be a part of the sing along! Suggest again...Tommy Johansson power metal covers will make you so happy!
@Magne Reacts thanks for the support! I'm almost prompt free now! Had to break to learn the chorus for Attack of the Dead Men, bc it's got such a cool sounding chorus... couldn't get it out of my head!
Thank you Niklas! ❤️🙏❤️ It really struck me, the atmosphere and energy on that Concert. I belive that was magical. And what a great father and son activity! Thank you so much for subscribing! If you have some reccomandations to other metal bands, or Sabaton songs, that would be great! Peace and love ❤️🙏❤️
Finally. I am glad are back, and that you reacted to Sabaton. I am a fellow norwegian, so the song Saboteurs is mandatory. Other than that, you must react to their live version of The Red Baron (live Oslo)! You will not regret that, and I bet you will do a great reaction video.
Hello mister Wessel! Good to hear from you! Oh Sabaton was Great! I want to listen to more! I think Christmas Truce would be the next. Because I got a lot of requests for that one. But I will be open for the other suggestions as well! Thank you! Love and peace ✌️ ❤️🙏❤️
@@Magnereacts Oh, I hope you listen through the endtitles. It is Floor Jansen that sing the end part, and she is married to their drummer Hannes van Dahl.
Nice reaction, I was at this show (sitting somewhere in the middle of the platform to the left from this view of the stage) Needless to say, it was one hell of a show that night. Going by statistics we where around 10 766 metalheads at the arena that night. The album that this song is from if about a part of Swedish history that is referred to as the era of great power (stormaktstiden in Swedish) when Sweden was one of the ruling powers. There is both a Swedish and English version of the album and I usually explain that the Swedish one tells the story from a Swedish soldier's view while the English are more of an outsider view.
Wow. It must have been surreal to be on that concert 🤩🤩🤩 Thank you for telliyme a little bit of Sabaton. I will absolutely check out more! Thank you for watching! ♥️🙏♥️
It seems like they ended the concert with this song and What a way to end a show!🖤🤘 Looks like that was an Awesome concert. So great to have you back! Namaste Magne❤🤘
Sabaton is/are historians in musical form. If they take any side it's the soldiers point of view. I've seen people react to this performance and say it's about patriotism, and others say it's about the horrors of war. Good history should achieve that...information and honest presentation and let people's biases inform their reaction and hope they can see facts and let go of their biases
Sabaton suggestions; Attack of the Dead Men, Resist and Bite, 82nd all the way, The Last Stand, Livgardet and The Royal Guard (same song in different languages, with different videos), Angels Calling (ft. Apocalyptica), The Price of a Mile, Ballad of Bull, and Cliffs of Gallipoli. Also, the whole album Carolus Rex, (En livstid i krig comes from that album) it is available in both Swedish and English, altho the last track Ruina Imperii (one of my fav.) is only available in Swedish. The songs on Carolus Rex have different lyrics in English, more of an outside look on the 30 years war, while the Swedish lyrics have a more personal view.
Sabaton has a loooong list of history based music. @@Magnereacts just saw that, they certainly have a way of playing with emotions and making you feel things, often contradictory feelings at the same time, like "I really love this music but subject in the lysrcs are horrible and the video makes me question why we keep fighting wars", that is art, making you feel and question, am I wrong?
Hej Magne! //Niklas
Thank you Niklas! Jeg skal absolutt sjekke ut mer av Sabaton! Svenskene får til mye bra altså! 😃 Gleder meg til å høre mere! Takk for at du så på! Kjærlig hilsen Magne ♥️

christmas truce is great! but hey im swedish and i love all of them! as you mention nothing about glory fying war only tell the store and honor all poeple that are included in the war. Often its only political and no one really want to edure war.

I doubt they wanna take the role as educators, they honor history and are keen to depict the events historically correct.
That is exactly what they do, tell the story. They don't take any side.
