Great simple explanation. It’s actually Biblical to go talk to the person you have a problem with and make things right.

It's also biblical to commit genocide because a voice in your head told you to.
Or to settle a debt by collecting 200 foreskins from non consenting men.
Or to stone a woman in the town square for witchcraft.
Is this really the authority you want to invoke for supporting the idea that you should be direct and honest with a person you're having a conflict with?
Why is it that athiests score BETTER on tests of knowledge about religion than Believers do?
Spoiler....it's because 95% of believers have never actually read the book they claim as a foundation for their world view and have only ever sat and listened to the same few dozen hand picked sermons read to them by the guy who depends on donations from these people feeling good about supporting this book.
Go read your book, cover to cover, with a highlighter and a note book. Write down every violent event and the reason it was committed. Tally up every mention of "Satan" and his evil deeds. Have some fun with it and estimate some death tolls.
If...and that's a huge IF....the Christian Bible is even close to something true, my money is on it being written by Satan to trick the masses in to worshiping him.
Seems like a perfect play for a violent, immoral hateful and jelous diety. Cleverly write a book that convinces everyone that it's okay to
-beat your slaves as long as "they don't die within a day or two"
-subjugate women as lesser than men simply because God says so
-justity global genocide that kills every child, pregnant woman and man on the planet as "The only way to get rid of sin."
-Then backtrack when a flood doesn't work....which...how does an all knowing God NOT know that his plan won work
-THEN come up with a new plan that leads to a religion that is literally a death cult that worship human sacrifice as the only way an all powerful being could fix a system that THEY BUILT to begin with
-Encourage an environment that shunes curiosity and questions while rewarding obedience to authority and ignoring the use of the intellectual abilities humans have
I could go on. The "god" in the bible is a child murdering, domestic violence partner that constantly tells people "Youre so filthy that you don't actually deserve my love, but lucky you! Look how you've made me hurt myself in order to give you a path to spending eternity worshiping me as the best thing ever. You're so blessed to have been given a true choice between burning forever or worshiping me. Please don't make me hurt you any more than I already have had to."
Yup...once to three times a week...2 to 3 hours a visit...repeating words that don't makes sense, with an emotionally charged music environment and a social circle that will shun you for deviation from the group behavior. All to get you to a place where you go around touting a character that objectively reads like the devil as the perfect example of an "All good and all loving god."
      No brainwashing here, right?
Read the book. Cover to cover.
Either that, or stop pretending you know how to invoke it as a standard.

Even simply acknowledging this ABC triangle thing is a mini triumph in and of itself, maybe there are many ways to resolve this better than what people actually do
If I'm person C what I do is try to listen to person B, ask person A what they think too, so you have both sides of the story, and then say "well I've always thought .... because ...." but crucially you don't select either person A or person B as being the 'victor', because then you signal allegiance to one and conflict with the other, which isn't really what you want to be aiming for anyway

It's unlikely that Person B would then go to Person A for the necessary conversation. What usually results is silence and lingering resentment. A and B most likely won't solve the problem on their own---just hate each other forever.

Yep, that's common behavior too. Thanks for the thought. In healthy teams and cultures, they commit to developing the ways they communicate with each other. Not perfect, but committed to growth!

This definitely works but the leader has to set the tone from the beginning.

I would summon both in my office. ‘Why are you wasting my time? I am not a preschool teacher and I do not have time to waste on your petty squabbles. You have one week to resolve the issue or I will punish both of you. I will check on you both. Now, get out and do some work. You 🫵🏻- have you done work x? And you 🫵🏻- have you done work y? Off you go’.
