But, this song is still beautiful in it's own regard. Mostly because its a true story about a friend of the band. He murdered his girlfriend and then turned the gun on himself. At least that's what I heard....

Unfortunately, it's based on a lot of true stories.
Even though I knew what it was about, I took that song as mine when in best relationship, not because it reflected us, but because he loved the group and introduced me to its music. Now, we are not together anymore, and somehow it gets me much deeper.. He used to say I was all he needed, and loved to whisper "mine" to me.. But he decided to set me free, and by doing so, he took my life with him. Love and miss him so bad.. listening to this song in a loop, trying to kill what he left in my mind and heart 😢😢😢

This was infamous serial killer, Jeffrey dahmer’s favourite song... it makes so much sense, I am not a fan of him because who tf would be, right? Anyway, it does remind me of him and somewhat empathise the lyrics to what he might have been feeling. I got here to listen to the 3rd verse on how they sang it because their mtv had to shortcut the lyrics, but I know it's the same melody. If the lyrics were written differently, other than obsessive love that turned out tragic, this will still be a great song with a great melody, with also that exceptional guitar solo. But I guess that's how Motley Crue curved out the melody. It's the drama and obsession in the story.

First I've learned of this song, it's pretty good...musically, but it was a poor choice in subject matter. A psychologically unsound individual could hear this and find it romantic and act on it.

Cops find out after few years the guys get away with it bc he said she said until what happens in this song. Its evil abuse . My ex wife was mentally abusive but her second loser spouse gave her bruises she is great mom but does not go lot of places bc that guy still terrifies her. After him she lot nicer too me too bad it took that piece of shit to hurt her 5 years ago . Kyle bennett if u ever meet him or a dude named magnum run away fast . They are evil none of these guys ever went to jail. Its the hidden evil abuse .
