Sharing my experience at the Port of Entry in the USA. Sharing my DIY checklist for outbound US travellers on a K1 visa and the questions asked by the Immigration Officer and/or CBP Officers. I’m hoping this video helps you a lot for a successful flight. God bless you all.

Hello. Thank you for the video. Did you bring food from the Philippines with you (In your checked in luggage)? Did you declare that on the declaration form?
During my first time arrival in the US, I didn't bring food in my luggages. My next arrivals in the US from visiting Pinas, i brought foods in my luggages. i declared it during customs interview including dried fish and canned goods. They were okay with it during the interview. ☺

@@dinamh83 hi sis., no I didn’t get to declare my jewelries. I placed them in my shoulder bag. No one asked or I didn’t have to write anything to declare . I could have declared it if they asked me. 🥰

My fiancé told me not to declare it either. But I just worry that it may cause a problem at the immigration later. My jewelry are not large pieces. So I don’t know what to do? 🫣😅
Maybe po yung payment for travel tax was already included na sa flight ticket mo 😊
It could’ve happened sis., I don’t know kasi pati si F noon nag wonder bakit , wala nman nakalagay sa tickets namin nung binook niya , possible rin, 😊

Hi sis.. yung port of entry ba na nilagay ko nung nag fill up ako for my interview schedule, is need ba talaga na dapat dun tlga yung unang port ko sa US? Kasi PENNSYLVANIA nilagay ko dun eh pero CALIFORNIA pala una kong lapag 😅

baka po nabayaran u n yung tax noong nagpurchase u po ng ticket, baka kasama n sa inclusion ng ticket.
@@reyalcantara1024 si hubby po yung nag purchase ng tickets dito sa US kasi sinundo niya po ako, pati siya nagulat para sa part ko na hindi ako hiningan ng travel tax heheh. 😊
Hi, what is the BOI form po? We have everything except that, I’m unfamiliar with it.
I think there’s no need po niyan this time sis. I mentioned it on my video that it was required during that time of pandemic. That’s why I had to bring it. 😊
Travel tax was included upon ticket purchase
Our tickets that time was purchased in the US by my husband. According to PD 1183, I was supposed to be included on that category required to pay for travel tax. But yeah probably, 🤷♀️
Hi Ms. Ejoy, just want to ask if dumaan ka pa sa immigration pagdating mo sa Korea? So stress na po kasi 1st time ko and glad nkapunta ako sa channel mo.
Hi sis., nope hindi na sis kasi connecting flight yun. USA ang final destination, so sa US immigration daraan sis. Security check lang dinaanan ko sa korea. Kaya mo yan. 🥰

Hi sis., nope they didn’t ask if I had cash or how much I was bringing, although I was. But you can bring cash not more than $10,000 on hand. 🥰

Yung sakin handcarry ko lahat ng docs ko , nasa backpack ni hubby nilagay. Pati yellow packet.

May checkin baggage po ba kayo? Ask ko lang po sana if nag recheck in kayo nung nagland kayo sa Michigan galing korea? Or sa korea pa lang need iclaim ang checkin baggage then recheck in? Michigan din po kasi port of entry ko just worried about checkin baggage
hi sis,. nope, once lang ako nag check in sa cebu airport lang sis. Dala2 lang namin ang hand carry sa mga stop over or layover. Pag connecting flights kasi sila na bahala sa bagahe. Claim lang namin ang lahat mga bagahe pagdating ng Utah. 🥰
Hello, ask ko lng kung ok lng ba mag travel ppuntang US na hindi ko kasama yung fiance' ko, khit na nilagay ko sa ds-160 na I'm travelling with my fiance'? Sna ma- notice. TIA....

Hello po maam im one of your subscribers ask lang po kasi travel ko na sa dec 27, 2023 k1 visa aside sa passport, ticket, e travel at CFO ano pa hahanapin nila hahanapin po ba ang documents like prof of relationship such as pictures and chatlogs?
Hi sis., wala ng pics or catalogs sis. Yun lang na mention mo and yung yellow packet ibigay sa port of entry lang sis. Nasa yellow packet na lahat na kakailanganin nila sis kaya ibigay natin yun sa officers sà customs sa US. 😊

Hi po sis., wala po akong pinakitang vax cert they didn’t ask. Yun lang lahat na mention ko sa video po. And same lang lahat ng queue , sa pinas at international the same queue lang lahat ng passengers dadaan sa same exit or queue para sa immigration.😊
Bale dumaan si hubby sa dinaanan ko , pero waived cya syempre kasi US citizen, ako lang ang pina pasok sa customs office kasi foreign and port of entry ko yun sa US. Basta port of entry dadaan lahat dun sa customs sis foreign or not foreign.

hello sis,. uhmmm Im not so sure if no need na ba ang vax cert,. if hindi talaga makakuha ng vax cert, at least meron kang dalang vax card sis ☺

for k1 visa you must have it sis or else pabalikin sa Pinas or deported,. 🥰

@@LynPrz hello po sis., no more yellow packet for you kasi kasal na kayo ni petitioner. Hindi ka nila binigyan ng yellow packet with your passport diba? I don’t know much about IR 1 visa , but if hindi ka binigyan ng yellow packet, no need for that sis. Just show your greencard and passport sis, okay na yan. 😊

Hi! Nagkaproblem po ba if ang port of entry nyo is hindi sa destination state? May question po ba yung CBP officer related dun?
hello po, wala namang prob kung saang state ka mag enter or mag landing sis,. its your option naman kung saang state or saan mag land yung airline na sasakyan. Basta lahat ng mag arrive from international flights ay dadaan sa immigration or customs sis. Yan ang port of entry. Then proceed ka na sa domestic flight papunta sa state mo sis,. Kung meron lang sana direct flights dretso sa state natin sis how I wish heheh ☺
when you came to USA how did you contact your fiance to meet you. did your phone work here ? if not what did you have to do. also is 3 hrs layover at port of entry enough?
Hi, my fiance went to the Philippines and picked me up, so traveling was easier on my part coz we went home together. I would say 3 hours is little bit enough but make it a little longer because we don’t know if the previous flight would be delayed and also how much time she would have to stay in the customs for interview. It took me more than an hour. And if she’s not used to traveling in those huge airports, it might take much of her time to get the next gates that sometimes we have to take a train or bus or walk just to get there and hopefully not to miss the next flight. Looking for wifi would also take a bit of her time so she could contact you.
Delta airlines have their own wifi in the plane for texting only, I was able to use my whatsapp during the whole flight. Airports have wifi too, so you could contact each other.
Just give ample time to get settled before the next flight.
Honestly, it was not easy for me. It was also a 4 hours layover. 😊
@@ejoyenjoys thanks very much for your reply. i met my lovely Filipino Fiance online almost 3 yrs ago. We could not meet in person untill march 2022 because of covid. she now has her interview and medical scheduled. This has been a very long journey but she is worth it. Hope you and your husband are happy and doing good.
@@Luke-o6o1d yes that happened to us too, we were not able to meet again for 2 years because of covid, and so he came to pick me up. Yeah patience and faithfulness is very important in this journey. The right time will definitely come.

Hello po. Tanong ko lang po kasi ang port of entry po ng fiance ko ay sa Korea. Dadaan po ba siya sa immigration or customs para ibigay yung yellow packet niya then after po nun ay straight na siya sa usa?
Hi sis., port of entry means port of entry in the US kung saan ang entry airport niya sa US., so korea is not a port of entry. Sa US immigration lang ibigay ang yellow packet sis., ☺️

Its Centers for Disease Control and Prevention sis. Noong pandemic time kasi ako nag travel. According to my fellow k1 visa holders wla na silang cdc form nung nag travel sila recently. 😊

Unsaon pag roaming sa globe sis?
I suggest smart gamitin mo sis. Automatic cya nag roaming kahit hindi ko ni roaming. Smart na gamit ko.
Yung globe ko ni roam on ko kasi pero hindi na gumana after I turned of my phone for 24 hours dito sa US. Pag on ko ulit wala ng signal, 😊

wala pang gagawin sis, usually mga few months pa yan for the next. Just wait until mag case "In-Transit" yung status mo sis, then maging Case "Ready". So keep checking yung status mo sis. I sent you the link saan mo e check.
Pag Case ready na, diyan ka na merong gagawin sis. Send Ds-160 then schedule medical then schedule interview. ☺

Hi sis., yeap meron, mga 1 month later after nag case ready yung status ko. Kasali dun sa mail yung copy natin sa I-129f one page with remarks.
Pero huwag mo hintayin yung letter thru mail na makapag sched ka ng medical át interview, kasi meron ka naman matanggap na welcome letter sa email, nasa welcome letter ang instructions para sa sched ng interview sis.😊
