Part 1 - FTX DR8 6S RTR desert racer (same as FS Atom 6S, Reely Raptor) unboxing and first thoughts

Box opening and first impressions on FTX DR8 (FTX5495).
Same / similar as FS Atom 6S and Reely Raptor.
The FTX can be purchased for around £360 whereas the Atom is between £420 and £460 most places in the UK. The FTX is without lipos, and the Atom 6S comes with 2 x 2S lipo for 4S power. Unsure if Reely version easily available in UK.

Yeah I love mine - a lot. Broke the rear bottom hinge pin retainer last Monday at skate park so ordered an upgraded aluminium one but otherwise it has been faultless. I have loads of different RCs but think I only need the DR8 as it is that good

Did you modify it in any way? Like a bigger pinion and was there any oil in the diffs if you looked.
