16:40 Academia and Journalism aka The Cathedral as Curtis Yarvin (aka Mencius Moldbug) called them. The true villains of society.

    Thank really enjoyed the conversation.
Now that Silicon Valley has gone full political, I guess this means if you take investment, it comes with a political direction, make sure you vote how your investors want you too.

18:00 Neuroticism of status anxiety and reputation risk is a point that isn’t emphasized enough.

Nice episode. Not a genius so I'll have to miss the second hour. Cheers.

20:30 Kahneman got it wrong. There’s nothing irrational about believing that wealth has a purpose beyond consooming. In fact, most wealth is reinvested in growing more wealth. Obsession with consooming and “happiness” is a manufactured idea by the Managerial State and its agents.

44:30 The Great Stagnation is our version of the Brezhnev Stagnation. Capitalism doesn’t have “stages”. Capitalism is universal and eternal human nature. The cause of the Great Stagnation / Slow Cancellation of the Future is caused by the Managerial Revolution as a form of soft communism. Or like the institutional economics people behind “Risk Society”. We’re stagnating because of a lack of capitalism, not because of some imaginary “mature markets” of capitalism.

Well done getting Nate Silver on. They were so stupid pushing him to one side.
