@@MasterStacona Yeah no. BT is a burst class not a sustained damage class. We just take a fat 30+% FD loss on our burst in Punch King because of the multiple targets and Bear Assault. Some classes’ kits simply aren’t great for Punch King, and BT is one of them. It’s not a great measure of damage potential or a good way of comparing classes against each other.

BT has amazing mechanics for bossing and is able to dodge attacks and deal damage at the same time, which is what makes a sustain damage class be a sustain damage class. Burst classes their damage is no where near their peak damage in a real boss fight because they can never get off ideal damage unless the target is bound. BT never needs a bind ever to get off their damage. BT also only has 1 true burst skill. Especially true for hawk mode bossing.
i'd highly suggest putting the name of the classes when doing something like this, a lot of less hardcore players will be wandering who the hell is this for a lot of those classes

If you looked at some of the old charts ark had one of the stronger ror4 bursts in the game without having the strongest burst or dpm by a fair bit. This video is a amazing reference for how front loaded a burst is for some classes, but doesn't necessarily corelate to 40s ba's or 3 minute ba's... If these were all streamed and you had that info that'd be an absurd reference.

You still could be. This only shows burst dmg. And not all the classes are evenly matched in terms of gear. All classes are widely different in clear time on different servers as an example. This is only a measurment to look at classes and see what class has a good "fast burst"

These things only favour burst classes. Higher your burst, the worst you are at a real boss fight though because the game has to balance out at some point. The top third is mostly all burst classes, or a very heavily funded class. The middle third is a hybrid of sustain and burst, is great at neither since they are jack-of-all-trades. Bottom third is mostly sustain damage and supports, the jobs you want for a boss party / to boss with overall since they both have the continual damage to always deal damage to the boss and the mechanics to avoid boss attacks while dealing damage at the same time.

Makes me want to remain my Ark haha. Some classes are at a disadvantage in punch king like Hero in Enraged mode and Buccs with octopunch. Nexon should consider buffing hp for single target versus having 6 targets. I wonder if that would change the rankings.

Its because they have a good kit. Good dmg, good burst, good sustain dps, tanky, great mobbing etc. This just shows that their "fast burst" isnt the best in the game. I also think DW is fine as it is, amazing class.

This all clearly shows very accurately the job rankings to each other and not at all heavily skews results. Certain players gravitate towards certain jobs than others. A more sweaty player will have a stronger character while other jobs are more casual so their characters are less funded which heavily skews the results. Plus in a burst competition, the burst classes shine more than the sustain damage classes, which also skews the results. If everyone was perfectly funded identically to each other and played optimally: > Closer you are to #1 in this case means your burst is very high, but sustain damage is the lowest, resulting in you are terrible in end game boss fights. > Closer you are to last place in this case means your burst is very low, but either your sustain damage is the highest or you are very support focused or both, in both scenarios you are amazing in end game boss fights.
Your conclusions are really invalid. To state what you're saying, you're assuming that all classes are balanced DPM-wise over the long run but they're not. It has nothing to do with equal funding or optimal play. In most cases, closer you are to the bottom just means your damage output is bad.
some classes can near double the damage of others lol, nw can reach 500 billions of damage per second while most of kannas cant even reach 250, and we are literally on a burst meta, most of your dpm dont matter, only thing is how strong is your 30 seconds burst lol, end game parties dont give a fuck about your dps off burst xD, fire poison isnt even close to top1 dpm and thats a 2020 assumption
oh the difference isnt because of gear dif, maybe a few%, but all or at least almost all of the top dmg dealers of each class are end game players similar gear (5+set pitched)

This is how it would work in an ideal world. Khali is entirely sustain damage so she would be at the bottom of the list anyways. Basically forming the best party for damage, completely ignore the top half (closer to #1 in burst) of the burst chart of jobs, they are dead weight, and just go with the bottom half (closer to last place) especially since you have a Beast Tamer, Bishop, Kanna, and Battle Mage in the party with FP Mage and DA for raw damage.
because he is only good on transformation, on 6 sec you can do a lot on him while transformed, and its just a punching bag so you moving a lot doesnt affect you like it wuld in a boss fight
i think it's because how ark's burst works. Their burst attacks can dish out all of their dmg in about a second and they are able to hit all the targets with them. Their Starving Beast is set on the ground like a timed trap so it can be put down before the timer starts which would allow it to go off right when it starts the final stage and Abyssal Recall can be triggered instantly. So if the player is strong enough to one shot with these attacks, then they just need to get to the final stage as quick as possible to let their burst go off.

Justification was that they took it off the cash shop a month before we get permanent free second slot so people don't buy one when they can no longer get the full benefit out of it. Permanent free slots coming October 4th after maintenance, and you cannot buy any extensions anymore, ever
Ark has always had ludicrously high burst, only balanced by a fairly mediocre off-burst. Not sure why you're surprised that Hero is above Shad either, I was actually shocked Shad was as high as it was lol.
This is not a good representation for the strongest class. You have to factor in the funding of their class and the people that plays the class and also the people who never touched grass. I've partied with a xenon recently and one thing I noticed when we were sharing ba info is xenon has absurdly high burst.
Now do it again for Regular Server, You would notice Classes Move around ALOT!

DPM and DPS aren't the same measurement therefore you cannot deduce which class is the strongest only by measuring a short burst in punch king.

His kit is suited to this type of punch king. His burst is relatively really fast so all of the damage is dished out quicker than other classes
