I think Sevinne's Reclamation might also have a place in this deck as ridiculously efficient recursion with a stronger effect later in the game. Also versatile enough to bring back your commander, a land, a mana rock, or a creature in addition to your auras, and significantly cheaper than Sun Titan to cast (and less painful if counterspelled).
Very true! I had honestly forgotten how cheap it had gotten after its reprints, so it slipped my mind when building this deck, but yeah - it is a very good twice per game source of reanimation that can either be used alongside or to replace our other permanent/aura reanimation sources. Superb suggestion!
Finally! Solid build as always! Eriette got a ton of possibilities to build around and thats what makes it so fun. At some point I think whether you use some more rare played auras or else, eriette will make them work. While building around Eriette I learned so much about old auras and some mean auras too. It was so much fun to go into tinkering mode for Eriette. :D
Glad you enjoyed it! And I agree - Eriette is definitely a commander that allows us to use traditionally "unplayable" aura's in a way that actually makes them viable, which I'm personally a fan of and makes building around her quite fun - if just to see what janky aura's we can get away running with her!
There's also an infinite combo with Screams from Within and Warehouse Tabby or Knight of Doves and Grim Guardian for infinite ETB drains! Otherwise loved the build! Keep it up!
I was not aware of that combo! Unsure if its worth running Warehouse Tabby just for that potential combo (since we don't have any way to search it up) but I suppose the extra board presence it generates is fine on its own. Great suggestion!
If you're prepping for doctor who builds/ideas, one I've been brainstorming is The Ninth Doctor + Clara Oswald (green). Making multiple upkeep steps for myself, and have a bunch of creatures and enchantments with upkeep triggers. Like making creature tokens or drawing cards.
That certainly is an interesting way to build around the 9th doctior for sure - Have what if effectively a Paradox Haze in the command zone is quite powerful and building around alot of upkeep triggers is definitely going to generate us a lot of value (especially with green in the mix to get us the ramp we need improve our mana base).
Stumbled upon this while researching Eriette to nump its power up to the famous "7", i also included Rogues Passage, Arcane Lighthouse and Detection Tower. The latter two being more or less metachoices having a Narset in my regular Pod. I also got a Bloodletter on Oxalan Pre-Release and paired it up with a Warlock Class in the Deck. Curious to try it out next Week, great Input on your end, keep it up.
True - though paying 4 to do so is quite a steep price to pay. Still, being able to do so on our opponents turns does turn our aura's into flash speed Vow effects.... So that may warrent its inclusion just so we can interact with our opponents more efficiently. Interesting suggestion!
Have you ever thought of redoing older precon upgrades or at least updating them on the mtg goldfish list with cards from newer sets? For example the Strefan precon with cards like Markov baron, mirkwood bats or lich knights conquest. I'd be very interested in videos/things like that
I wish Eriette and Yenna were Partners, they work so great together so I put them both in Thalia and Gitrog Monster enchantress as the secret commanders :P
@@GrazzetMTG Maybe I missed a precon or two but isn't there really only 2 true Abzan Enchantress commanders? Anikthea and Narci and a runner up as Myrkul?
Evershrike is my suggestion for Eriette. Hits hard, self-recurs at instant speed and has top tier art. You might want more buff Auras to make it better though.
Good suggestion! It actually was on my radar when building this one, but was eventually sidelined due to - as you mentioned - a lack of enough buff aura's to enable it, as most of the aura's we're running are either defensive ones (to keep our commander and payoffs alive) or go on our opponents stuff, In a more buff heavy version of the build (aka a more traditional aura deck) this certainly warrant further consideration however!
@@GrazzetMTG If you played more cards that let you move Auras around like Ardenn, Halvar or Crown of the Ages, Evershrike's value increases more since you can put buff Auras on your opponent's creatures to keep them away from you, then move them back to your creatures once your board state makes them irrelevant.
Gaslight, Gatekeep, Gradually drain away everyone's life, Girlboss. Amazing deck as always! Bloody brilliant even! It sure is the best deck that sucks! Really raises up the stakes!(Sorry, I HAD to make the jokes eventually) That said all the voting being put on hold... bit of a bummer. Mainly cause it's one of the few things that make you shine amongst the dozens of other decksmith channels. And also the one keeping me hooked to this one on the daily. So um... careful with that! Day 771 of waiting for the face reveal. Favourite fictional vampire?
The comments (and the puns) are appreciated as always! And yeah, I personally don't like putting the voting on hold, but the precons make it a bit harder for me to work around a poll since I start building those decks immediately as they're released so I can I get them out in a timely manner.... Though I'll see what I do to incorporate them into future precon upgrade seasons to keep folks engaged! Also - if were counting manga/anime - it would have to be Alucard from Hellsing. Something about a immortal/overpowered vampire vampire hunter with a gun just speaks to me (plus the ultra violence and hilarious abridged series is also fantastic).
Fair enough. I can see how they are not everyones cup of tea and that some folks perfer me to tackle completely new builds from scratch. Still, I personally like to do them and the fact they they tend to do better then my non-precon builds (sometimes by 10's of thousands of views) I'll still be doing them for the forseable future - though I do wish WotC would pump the breaks on their releases a bit so I can tackle more commanders from sets before having to switch to the new one....
Most of them you have to Audit the company by hand. For example, if you plug his Ramses deck into Card Kingdom, it will try to sell you $120 worth of cards. A lot of that is because they only have some of the higher-value versions in stock. When I copy his lists, I go through each card that costs more than a dollar and see if another seller has a cheaper version.

Thanks Grazzet I've been hype to build this one since I saw the spoiler for Eriette
No problem! She was a fun one to build around and I hope you enjoyed the build!
Building this right now! Thanks for the vid!
No problem and I hope she works out well for you!
I’m excited to build this and play it as the counterpart for my Elivere deck.
Oh hell yeah i just pulled a totentanz and have been thinking of building it, finally a decent rakdos rat commander
this is exactly what i've been lookin for. good stuff sir.
Glad to hear it and that you enjoyed it!

i do have to learn how to type properly tho, sorry :D
Oh, Totentanz did win! Yeah! Nice build here Boss
Crown of the Ages is a potential option if we want to move Auras around as better targets hit the board.

Yeah, but then we'd have another Abzan Enchantment commander and honestly, I'm of the opinion that we have had enough of those in the past few sets.

Hope it was worth the wait!

This is the perfect deck for my girlfriend lol
wouldn't mind if you skipped precons

Thanks to coming by so early!
every one of these videos dramatically lies about the price. This does not come out to 64$ This came out to 125$ on TCG.
