In this case the two songs are a little dissonant with each other (harmonically speaking). What I do to help make these songs go (a little better) together is to use stems by taking out the harmony of the track I’m transitioning out of, while making room for the new harmony of the incoming track.
Would love to see a video on how to mix songs out of key. I know stems make this easier and some basic scratches etc. but I guess you’d call it a slam mix? Where it’s more of a timing mix etc.
Can you create a video showing how to add/ fix a beat grid? For example when the beat grid is off or when the tempo changes because it’s a transition song. Thanks!
the easiest way is to count along with music when your listening to it even when you're not djing. that way it becomes a habit and you end up doing it without realizing. song structure is more or less always the same and things happen in counts of 4, 8 and 16 when it comes to mixing music.
@@sostcyr I do that actually! Lol it’s so funny how habitual it has become. However when I’m playing I still have to count and sometimes makes me late to bring in the next song IF it’s not cue’d. I have to have my cue points set before hand! But like I’m trying to be able to freestyle more and be able to hop on my other friends laptops and play with their cue points but it always throws me off but I guess it’s no different than just still having to count lol I think too much into all of this sometimes and then when I do it I be like oh okay I get it lol but thank you!!
Hey, nice video, thanks for everything. Could you do a video about how to proper beatgrid songs? A new video tailored to the latest version of Serato DJ Pro! 🙏🙏🙏 That would be so dope! Keep doing your thang man, your content is always fly! Thanks
very informative DJ tutorial, but the way you speak sounds your unease. so please relax my man, try to be cool you taught me a great lesson. please try talk a bit slower and clearer. you made a good point on teaching.

This is dope. You got the understanding. Have you gotten into Rob Swift and some of his breakdowns? Keep up the good shit
How do like the A trak? I have the 70 would you say it’s worth the upgrade??
Honestly if I don’t think the jump from the regular to the atrak 70 is worth it.
Just to a 72 mk2 if your gonna upgrade
@@Shmack_I hear the fx are a pain on the 72.
I think the only REAL upgrade path from the 70 (battle mixers only) would be to the S11 otherwise I think the 70 is still a very solid mixer.
Keep up tbe good work 🎧
Thank you!
