Man stabbed on Las Vegas Strip in 'random' attack

- A man is accused of stabbing another man on the Las Vegas Strip in what police call a random attack. Adam Carter, 47, faces charges of attempted murder, records said. The charge carries an enhancement since the stabbing victim was older than 60.

One of the reasons why I moved away from Clark County and Las Vegas after living here for well over 50 years. The place has gone nuts.

You’re so so wrong. Las Vegas murder rate has dropped the last 5 years in a row. It’s 2.6 million people population and they are up to 78 Homicides. St. Louis and Baltimore are both under 600,000 population and are double in homicide.

@@gabrielar9611 Henderson from Baltimore MD. I just retired 25 years Baltimore City Police. It’s so awesome to live here all jokes aside. Baltimore had 274 Homicides last year and their population is 560,000. To be equivalent to Baltimore, Las Vegas would need around 900 Homicides which would never happen.
I can’t believe how fast people drive there, even around pedestrians.
How could they even consider bail for this guy? Even if he'd promised to show up in court with silver bells on you don't give bail to violent offender who's a danger to everyone.

I’m driving on Las Vegas Blvd and there is always Metropolitan Police officers but they are alwayin a group and standing around talking and never paying attention to nothing, you have bikers riding on the back of vehicles waiting for lights at intersections! Let’s put some real caring officers ready to serve.
I've walked the Vegas strip in the 90's at 2am and never had to worry about anything, it was safe, now look what happened to Vegas it's not safe anywhere. 👎

I still enjoy Vegas, but unfortunately I have avoided walking outside too much, and it's not just the homeless people. Just a lot of weirdos and constant stench of weed. Mostly walk down the strip while staying inside the casinos, or just take rideshare to bridge.
