I love the AVenir package it's a fresh idea from Buick for sure but is a make that is an ocean of mid level luxury crossovers they have to offer more. Buick won't truly be a big name again until GM can get Cadillac to up market Cadillac have to get in that high-end MB market where the vehicles are starting at 80 to 100k and Buick can fill the 50k to 70k bracket and chevy is the 30k to 50k price point but even then Buick and some GMC models like the terrain will be bumping price points which not a big deal. when a Buick crossover and Cadillac cross and only 3 or 4 grand apart in price I gonna buy the caddy for the fancy name. even as a Buick fan myself
I'm glad you enjoyed the car. However, it gave me the impression that the future will be full of suvs and crossovers. Does Buick make any cool cars these days?
You're right. I just looked at the Regal and Lacrosse sales. They did not sell too hot during the 2010s, more so in the later half. It was just my car body style bias kicking in.
Great car.... except for the power train. GM is GM... and while they continue to improve, their engines are just "meh". This SUV would be a real contender if it had more development. For my money, I'd take the CX-5 over this. At least I know it won't disintegrate in when it hits 100k miles.
Interesting vehicle, but the Koreans (Hyundai/Kia) offer better value/features and hybrid powertrains, and the Japanese offer better reliability, especially with buick being a dying breed, I don't really know who would buy this if you do your research
for the price, this one is tough to beat. i'm considering getting one, when i was otherwise leaning toward the volvo xc40 and the mercedes glb 250. i also like the genesis gv70 but i'm not wild about hyunda, so i'm dubious
I swear, EVERY millennial 30 something soccer mom in Ohio drives these, self proclaimed, "grocery getters." They are everywhere. All I can think is that they finance easily. Tomorrow's rusted out second hand Dodge Caravans.
I think the Avenir trim level is overpriced. For the same money you can get Hyundai Palisade Limited with better warranty coverage, and FAR MORE features. You can also get Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited. Again more features, proven Toyota quality, and far better gas mileage. I don’t understand why you would wanna choose a Buick over these offerings.
I really don't care to purchase a Buick of any model, as I believe they are a dying breed. Not a bad looking and performing vehicle, but it already has one foot in the grave and the other on a banana!
Find this in your local 78 year old mee-maw’s driveway. She doesn’t really understand all the new-fangled tech but paw-paw would have wanted her in a Buick again. RIP paw-paw.
I just wosh there was more room in thr trunk... The enclave is so massive, but i feel this is just a touch too small. If only it had another 6" in thr back....otherwose its a beautosul car.
Buick's on life support, man. At least the Chinese like them.
The LaCrosse is the only Buick I’d buy. But they discontinued it 2019.
And they make the Envision
I was literally going to comment "GM needs to take Buick off life support" 😂
@@CollinMac96 yeah the last gen lacrosse is pretty unique as it’s the only Opel model sold in the USA
The 12v is by the left cargo light.
One thing that is hard to understand while watching a video is just how comfortable and quiet these cabins truly are.
My mother-in-law just got one of these, I was hoping to find a review by you. This was near the top of the list!
Very interesting and congratulations on the new partnership!
I miss my roadmaster
Love Buicks. This one is a looker. 😊
From China with love
Wish it had the old GM 2.0T that had 259 hp/ 295 torque

looks decent but built in China so it's a no for me.
Amazing job with my dream vehicle Zack.
At nearly 50k$, it seems overpriced to me, but everything is expensive nowadays so maybe that’s normal
it really isn't when you consider how many features this thing has
This is a nice looking car. Originally it was supposed to be a Vauxhall Antara X
I'm glad you enjoyed the car. However, it gave me the impression that the future will be full of suvs and crossovers. Does Buick make any cool cars these days?
I wish they sold sedans and more variety. But if you look at how badly they sold before being axed it makes sense to only make crossovers

If you can find the Encore Avenir AWD like 40k OTD, its worth lol

You were failed to see the 12volt outlet in the trunk. Its on the driver side.
no driving impressions ?
At least caddy offers a 6 cylinder but otherwise a nice vehicle
The new Buick will hopefully keep the push/pull transmission. If not, that’s a loss.
It's so weird... seems like a gas powered Bolt EUV.

It is made in China.
I give the marque 5 yrs tops.

As a proud social security and Medicare age crowd, I won’t be caught dead near this. We buy Lexus ES350 nowadays or a Lexus SUV
@@paulm6481 In my region of the country the Lexus’s are popular with the 60’s-70’s aged crowds.
Not a bad looking car, but this engine/tranny combo is kinda questionable speaking of durability.
Your correct I think this will be junk in a few years

2023 Buick Envision Avenir, coming to a retirement community near you!
No sir we get Lexi. We are too smart for these made in China imitators. Not your father’s Buick.
