That may of been the storm that hit Liverpool on Saturday night about 10:30 in the evening, it was constant lightning 🌩 and the roads were flooded, I’ve rarely seen a storm as severe in Liverpool.
Scott Richards I’ve filmed a bit of it out my back window just as it was starting, I put it on my TH-cam channel with darth Vader sound effects lol, I have COPD and breathing is affected. 😂
Some of those storms actually made thier way over here to Ireland Scott that night they effected the south and south east of Ireland i could see the lightning in the distance from my back garden here in Ireland
I was watching this storm on a webcam near Crewe train station. One of the cameras that were in the default position actually managed to look directly towards the storm as it went over Liverpool. The light show was spectacular. In Telford, I didn't get hit by this storm myself, but one strike that may have been from the rain we had at the time did strike to the north of me
Awesome! Great video Scott. The next few days could get very interesting. It's storm-free in my area as I'm further East but that could change tomorrow. Also very rare in the UK to get Heat Lightning. Nice one.
Nice capture Scott!👍⚡ No action where I am in Northamptonshire as the storms missed me to my southwest but I did see some awesome cloudscapes! More storm potential in the coming days⛈
I didn't know Liverpool got Thunder. There was a storm directly over Southport though between 20:45~21:05 on Saturday evening (13th June 2020). A short period of torrential rain with it.
I’m in Southport, the storm that came directly overhead was great to watch. The one that passed over Liverpool was unreal we sat outside watching the lightning, when it passed over Knowsley we got a short spell of light rain from the edge of the clouds but not much, but it felt like there was maybe 3/4 seconds between lighting bolts, what a spectacle. Was gutted I wasn’t at home in Formby as the storm converged over Formby before heading out to sea I had friends and family messaging me saying they were watching it. I use lightningmaps.org to track the lightning and there was so much activity over Formby, Crosby, Litherland and areas in between.
I've turned the sound right down on this because of the noise people in the area were making. Sorry about that, but thanks for watching. :)
That's a good storms over there
Wow stunning i love Thunderstorms
Nothing quite like seeing a storm passing by from a distance. Especially if there’s loads of fork lighting.
Am in-between Liverpool and Manchester can see this, rumbles then lightening over what looks like Liverpool going north ..
Saw similar from North Wales. Liverpool storm was lighting up the northern horizon like crazy.
Just saw a thunderstorm in Stockport over around Stoke or somewhere
Was the best thunderstorm i've ever seen in my life (from Liverpool).. A year today too!
Excellent. I videod one come in the West Midlands. We had an absolute huge monsoon downpour .
