@@TheHiddenOne690 ancient india is kinda controversial tho coz it includes pakistan and bangladesh i think if they made a game they must refer to it and hindustan to be a bit safer
- Netherlands during 80 year war with Spain. Could be an amazing dense city - Mali, Timbuktu. Also great historical value aswell as an old historic city. - Somewhere based in Eastern Europe.
A game set during the Punic Wars might be interesting. The series of 3 wars between ancient Carthage and the Roman Republic, the roman victory helping to facilitate the rise of the Roman Empire.
I feel like setting Origins when they did would make this hard. I know they did Odyssey and the hidden blade was a thing already, and I honestly hope they do make a Punic Wars game because that would be awesome. I just wonder if they've backed themselves into a corner where it would be too difficult to make it lore accurate.
I would LOVE an origins sequel starring Aya/Amunet in Rome with Bayak serving a secondary role like she did in Origins and coming to help out during points in the story. It would be sick to play as the boss for once and something different after a while.
I've often wondered why there isn't an American Civil War era game with Connor's grandkid. Connor clearly cared a lot about slavery and thought it should end so a rebuilt assassin's guild playing a role in the Civil War would be great. Maybe show Connor imparting knowledge to a young grandson at the beginning and then have him age up to play a role in the Civil War.
I’d love to see an assassins creed game where you play as two characters on opposite sides. And you play their story separately seeing both sides of the conflict and at the end they join up against a common enemy. I’m guessing throughout the story one of the characters sees corruption amongst their peers and higher ups and they decide to join the other side to take down the major enemy together. Also you can switch between them at any time during the story
Your ideas are amazing. The Roman Empire, Mongol empire and Mughal empire are greta time periods to explore. In the new AC Code Red which is set in Japan(i believe) it wohld be great if it was set in the time period of the Shogunate
I mean blud, Mongol times also mean lot's of slaughter, no major city's (since with the exception of China literally they burned everyone else) and also The Plague, which I doubt our protagonist would be immune against
There’s an Assassin’s Creed fanfic I know that is actually set during the Roman Empire. Specifically during the reigns of Claudius, Nero and the Year of Four Emperors. It’s called AC: Empire.
Assassin’s Creed based on Philippines’ Spanish Colonization era is such a good time period they could explore. The Spaniards being the templars and the revolutionist being part or being introduced into the Creed to help out in the war. A dlc for the Japanese colonization is also a good story as well. PH has lots of mythology as well.
I agree. Unfortunately, our history isn't that popular globally so I think people would be less interested with that tine period. But I agree, imagine playing as someone who has ties with the revolutionists and and being a close friend with Bonifacio. Then there's a plot twist where Aguinaldo is actually a templar that'd be a great story
A cool time period I've dreamed of seeing in an AC game : the Napoleonian Wars ! We could play as Arno, following Napoléon in his conquests in Egypt and Italy (we could have Cairo and Rome as cities), Arno starting to realize how dangerous Napoléon can become with the Eden artefacts, and witnessing his rise to power in France (we can use Unity's Paris), then Arno trying to either kill Napoleon or to bring peace back in Europe (we could have Russia as well with Napoleon's russian attack). Arno could make up for his mistakes by killing Napoleon on Sainte Hélène island. The hardest thing for such a game is the justification of Arno running around Europe because getting to a city and leaving it behind would not do
I think that one in la reconquista period would be awesome. Located in the region of Andalucía, south spain, with amazong landscape and arabic architecture like the palace of Alhambra.
Perhaps go a before it started and explore the 1383-85 crisis. With Aljubarrota battle, siege of Lisbon, death of D.Fernando and betrayal of the queen. The rise of D.João I.
I personally think they should rather make games on existing characters that didn't get a spotlight on the main series, Shao Jun is a pretty great example with her lore intertwining with Ezio's and the China setting never being fully explored (getting 2 spinoffs for god's sake), really hoping Ubisoft gives her the spotlight, plus the hidden footblade seems like such an amazing idea for combat, stealth and maybe even parkour, imagine having 2 footblades to run up the paper walls in pagoda buildings (Live action Mulan style), it alongside India and Persia seems like the biggest periods to explore
I personally think WW1/2 could still work as a setting. I know you shot it down, but I think that fun could be had, as you manipulate the political aspect of the war. Hypothetically, travelling to different countries as different characters could be interesting and unique, with what you do as one character impacting other characters and opening new storylines from them. For example, in WW2, you play as one or more of: A British agent fighting off German spies within parliament and the military (fleshed out version of WW1 in Syndicate); a French barmaid who secretly acts as a freedom fighter removing Nazi/Templar influences across France; a retired American/Russian assassin trying to remove Templar forces trying to force the country to leave the war/not enter the war; An African assassin trying to maintain order in their country by removing Templar and Assassin forces; An undercover assassin embedded in the Templar order within Japan/Germany/Italy or something, deciding to force the government out. Most of these also apply to WW1 (that might be to Kings Man though). Adding to that, the Cold War could also be interesting, especially as a soft follow up to AC3, a figure trying to maintain American dignity with the Red Scare and USSR (Templar interests). Interacting with Truman or JFK, or Eisenhauer could be quite fun. Figures like McCarthy could be interesting villains, and I think there are creative story opportunities.
Creeds of the Future. AC1 remains my all time favourite , I am elated to hear of the remake that will accompany this Mirage AC. Followed by AC Origins,2 and Brotherhood. My excitement is palpable , I can't wait to use beautiful moves to cut down my enemies with a Shamshir and single hidden blade. Perhaps we can even get the Byzantine Paramerion sword and perhaps we can ally with the Byzantines , ah the potential for gaming perfection is vast! I am currently loving Origins and am highly excited for Mirage. I do hope it will be good. I am also looking forward to be a Shinobi in 1400’s AD Japan . Then I would love to be a Mongol Assassin in 1200’s AD China. Where you end up accompanying Ghengis Khans great horde to Persia, where they laid waste to the Persians and you assassinate the Shah. Pharaoh Teti 2323 BC First ever recorded assassination in history. I love Origins and Egypts vast history, 2228 years before the reign of Cleopatra. THIS should have been AC Origins. To be an Aztec assassin in 1450s AD Tenochtitlan would be insane, killing Messo priests that aim to sacrifice humans to the Sun deity and assassinating corrupt Azetc kings ,replacing them with more capable leaders and then to fight against the invading Spanish conquistadors… so many possibilities. Or Perhaps a Zaputech Assassin 1500s AD, hiding in the cloud forests as you fight against the encroaching forces of the Aztec Empire …then you hear rumours of a new people that made landfall ,far to the east…. Starting out using clubs, Obsidian knives , bolas, obsidian spears and then ending up getting an obsidian club and for range an atl-atl AC Babylon where you go up against the guards of Nebuchadnezzar I 1121 BC and help thwart his plans of the construction of the Tower of Babel. Follow Cyrus II The Great 600BC of the Achaemenid Persian Empire The Great King, King of Kings, King of Anshan, King of Media, King of Babylon, King of Sumer and Akkad, King of the Four Corners of the World to conquer Messopotamia, Anatolia and the levant. Abolishing Slavery throughout the Empire , conquering Babylon, and rescuing the Isrealite people and escorting them back to their homeland ,to Jerusalem. Medieval France where you fight against the Avignon Papacy of the 1260s AD - Treachery perpetrated by the Avignon Popes and the vile king Phillip IV the Fair 1264 AD, that betrayed the Templar order ,forced them to dissolve and brutally tortured and executed them. Thus in a twist, you end up helping the real / original Templar knights to escape torture and execution, to help them relocate, to start a new life (Such as in Portugal) and to help them fight against the new, evil powers in charge, the corrupt Avignon Papacy. Where we get to revisit the events of ‘’Unities’’ start where legend sir Jack de Molay had cited before the tribunal of God that vile Phillip and the corrupt Pope Clement will be cursed by God Three in One. This time , we will see his execution in person as an assassin allied to the knights. One year after he perpetrated his treachery, Phillip IV and Pope Clement V were both struck down by God. Phillip having died in a ‘’Hunting Accident’’.... A few months after Phillips' burial , lightning struck the convent housing his remains and it burnt to the ground. And finally I need to go back to beautiful Constantinople but During the reign of Emp Justinian 500s AD, working for the Byzantine Emperors to Assassinate their numerous political enemies in Anatolia, the Levant,Mesopotamia and North Africa.
14th century France, 1st century Rome, and a return to the Holy Land, maybe in the 11th or 13th century, are my wishes. Absolutely perfect settings if done right.
i'd wanna see a proper old school stealthy assassins creed game set in the subcontinent era. That would be so fire tho. they could have like the protagonists or his targets the people who influences others (idk what words i should use to explain it in)
My Pitch for time periods and their assassins (some are similar to yours, most aren't): English Civil War: We play as Lord William Sutton, a Templar attempting to manipulate the Monarchy and control how England's army will progress. However, he becomes disillusioned with the Templar way, instead joining the Assassins as an inside man, working alongside Cromwell to take out the monarchy. Features heavy political intrigue and the sudden switching of sides. WW1: We play as Natalia Tolstaya, a Russian woman of the working class who got recruited by Vladimir Lenin (neutral in wider conflict) after he recognised her potential. After assisting with the Russian Revolution, Natalia learned of the Brotherhood from an ally she encountered along the way. She proceeded to join them, heading to German occupied France, Indian regiments, a brief stint in Egypt and finally back to Russia after the war, where she is involved with Lenin's death, and inadvertently the appointment of Stalin. Spanish Inquisition: We play as Lucia de Trueva in 1500s Spain. She is a Catholic who lost her brother (an assassin) to the Templar controlled Spanish Inquisition, and the influenced Monarchy and nobility. Lucia discovers the assassins in hiding have no plans to avenge her brothers death, so she goes rogue from them and takes action to do it herself. WW2: Unique experience. We play as three different characters. Justine Chabert, a French barmaid who now acts as a freedom fighter in German-occupied France for the assassins (focusing on the parkour, aggressive and brutal assassination aspect). Silvestro Cicchino, a high-ranking Templar figure within the Italian government, who is secretly an assassin spy (focusing on infiltrations and stealthy assassinations). Hamish MacCulloch, a retired Scottish assassin who is now a drunk street thug, although is the secret "spy-hunter" of Britain, looking for German agents within Parliament and the military (focusing on the information gathering, allocating recourses and working out who you can trust). Each one has their own gameplay and missions, with how they well they do impacting on each other, as the Templars become more nervous. They all trade information between each other through radios and all have their own unique villains and stories. American Civil War: We play as Phoebe Brannon, who has a weird psychic link with some kind in extra dimensional creature, which she calls Love, which teaches her to be an assassin. As the Civil War breaks out, Love guides Phoebe to support neither side, guiding her to stoke the fires of both sides so the hate destroys each other. This leads to Phoebe breaking away from the entity, supporting Lincoln and helping take down the South, although discovers Templars and Assassins hold influence on both sides. Elizabethan England: We play as Sabir Quince, an orphaned Moroccan adopted into English custom by white parents as a worker within their fancy home. Upon discovering his employers were Templars who orchestrated his parents and communities death, he flees, joining Shakespeare as a stagehand whilst secretly training to be an assassin in a secret hideout underneath the Globe Theatre to prevent Templar spread. Cold War: We play as Elliot Burton, a NYC police officer in training. However, life takes a turn when he is recruited into the Assassin order (then known as the CIA) to help preserve American culture within the Red Scare, a mask for Templars and Soviets to secretly enter American society. Elliot must learn the ways of the assassin to assist in defeating these invading forces, helping Presidents from Truman to Regan in a desperate attempt to help save the fate of the USA.
I could definitely see an AC game with Amsterdam, Leiden, Delft ,& the Hague as the main cities set around 1672, including the time us Dutch ate some important government guys because we blamed them for our military losses
So Personally I would like to see an Assassin's Creed game set in Mamluke Egypt were despite Egypt being somewhat of a force to be reckoned with but there was a constant power struggle were literally nearly every sultan over throws The one before him and That happened nearly every 2-8 years or maybe during the Mongol invasion when Seif El Din Qutuz Consolidated power in order to prepare for the battle against the mongols and when The mongols sent him messengers to tell him to surrender and give up Egypt he executed them and hang their heads on the gates of Cairo and another time period will be Fatimid Egypt especially during the Mustansird Famine Wich was a Cruel famine that lasted for 7 years in Wich The people would literally eat each other and kidnap little kids from rooftops All while the sultan lived luxurious life in his palace and maybe the Assassins could play a role in ending the famine
So, there is an AC comic series made by Corbeyran and Defali with and Assassin called Aquilus. He lived in the roman empire in 259 CE and he was an ancestor of Desmond. Because of the retcons of the newer games, I don't know if the comic is still canon or not, but it would be dope seeing him in a playable game. I remember his design being really cool. Plus, the 300s is a really cool era for the roman empire.
I might be biased, since I am Romania but I really want an AC game in 15th century Medieval Romania where Vlad Țepeș (Vlad the Impaler) is the master templar, and you are working for the romanian assassin brotherhood, cooperating with the ottoman empire's brotherhood in order to overthrow the ruler. The history back then was rich and the architecture of castles and villages would really work , and also the cities were really similar to AC Brotherhood's design back then and could work very very well.
I really wanted them to do China but not mobile😭. Would have been so sick running through the rooftops. The Chinese architecture would have been perfect for free running. They could make it always rain too like Batman Arkham knight for the atmosphere. I really like your last idea with gengahis Kahn. He should be the main enemy with Templar messing around in the background.
Speaking as an Indian on behalf of all AC fans from India. We would LOVE a mainstream AC game set in India. Especially in the period of Mauryan Empire and Ashoka the Great. It is said that Ashoka had a council of 7 secret men😶 who maintained secret knowledge and provided swift justice without leaving any evidence, that could easily be connected to the Assassins Brotherhood in India. Mughal India is good, but this would make more sense as the founder of Mauryan Empire, Chandragupta Maurya, married one of Alexander the Great's General's (Selucus, most probably) daughter, Helena. This connects the Indian brotherhood of Assassins to the main AC lore. Man this concept looks good😮 What do you think?
Yeah it would be the best if they make india series on mauryan or gupta dynasty rather than mughal or other medieval dynasty.. and also it will create controversy as well if they try to glorify monguls
@@_Bappu_ I don't really think gamers care about controversies 😂. I suggested the Mauryan Empire because it would be something new. The Mughal era would feel kind of like a reskinned version of AC Chronicles, as it would look the very same (of course in 3D).
@@I_am_Dipanjan don't you think it would get banned if they try to glorify moguls anyhow? But yeah gamers wont mind much as we will get to discover wonderful architecture.. And in my opinion Maurya era will be the best bcoz it had relations with greeks.. and also pre mauryan era also had diplomacy with persia.. The conflict between chandragupta and Seleucid would be amazing, it would be more interesting if they even add Alexander invasion in india and resistance of PORUS (pre-mauryan king of punjab) as intro or prologue
@@_Bappu_ Man, a Prologue with King Porus would be so good ❤️🔥 And I don't think the Government will try to ban a game. If they try to, Ubisoft can say that it's an artistic recreation and not real history.
@@I_am_Dipanjan glad you like the idea.. they won't ban if it's about mauryan or gupta, only moguls is topic of controversy, if you aware of recently what happened in Maharashtra, regarding thay mughals aurangzeb
I’d like to see an AC game set in the southern hemisphere. A couple ideas I’ve had: - Inca Empire The game could be set by the time of Spanish arrival. You’d see your glorious cities fall to ruin and your civilisation crumble by disease. Perhaps you’d fight the Spanish throughout the game. At some point you’d be enslaved, but would escape. - Empire of Brazil - 1800s The game could be set in either Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, maybe a bit of both. - Buenos Aires - late 1800s - New Zealand - late 1800s I just really like the nature. - South Africa - Zulu Wars
Locations and the mythology architecture environments astras historical figures and history parkour stealth parkour story really really excited me for ubisoft to recreate in a game and would love to see and yeah would be great location and awesome picks by the way
One setting I would really like to see is around 1200 in, maybe germany or england. An assassin’s creed in the middle ages, with kings and knights would be cool. You could say that we already had it in valhalla or AC 1 even. But valhalla was more viking stuff and AC 1 was in the middle east. An AC where you play as an assassin in the middle ages in central europe would be awsome in my opinion.
I would rather have 14th or 15th century, maybe even late 15th century. Yes, AC 2 was technically in the late 15th century but it didn't really have much to do with the period and was hyperstylized to be 100% Renaissance. And all the armor looked really bad. Like sure, High Medieval age is more the "knightly period" but 14th and 15th century has the armor and weapons most people associate with knights. Around 1200 you only have mail hauberks.
Honestly I would like to experience a game where we are mentor altair. I know there is a game kinda like that but I am talking about a full one about masyaf after Altair becomes Mentor.
We need one based in ancient Iran, or Saudia arabia, around the islamic times would be amazing for an assassin's creed game, not only does it give feel but it matches the area, assassin's originating in Egypt and moving into arabia would be fun! especially around areas such as medina which would be fun to play!
id like to see the Islamic Golden Age during the Abbasid Caliphate be showcased edit: now that i think about it, mirage is pretty much the closest like that other guy said.
The closest we are getting is Mirage and AC1, the Arabian gulf (Modern Saudi Arabia) was pretty much an empty desert historically, except for Mecca and Madinah.
As a history lover, In case of India i really wish that if they make their series on india ,then mauryan & gupta empire would be best as it was the largest and wealthiest empire india could ever get all time ,also it had conflicts and relation with macedonian greeks and persia as well.. so yeah other than this, indus-valley would be the best but it doesn't have more details that we can make whole game on it so mauryan empire would be the best And Trust me if game based on mughal came ,probably will get banned in india for sure, its already topic of controversy here.. instead they could've make game on real indian empires rather than these turkic and mongolian empire otherwise it wolill be the game dedicted to turkmanista or central asia not for INDIA
One preiod I mention every time this conversation comes up is the Cold War. When thinking less back in time people often ask for a WWI or WWII AC game, but I don't think those would be great settings given how flat battlefields are and how non friendly to stealth they are. But imagine this: You play as two assassins, one in Russia, the other one in the USA. They are both tasked with finding out which side the templars are on. The map would be a fully playable Moscow and a fully playable, I don't know... New York? Washington? doesn't matter. You follow their journey and at the end we find out both sides are actually templars and this whole thing is just a show to keep the assassin's off of the real issue, which of course would be ISU stuff. That would be so much fun. You could also play with concepts like no combat, coz you know it would be harder to make a credible combat envoirment in a civilized modern city. So maybe you could remove enemies off of main roads or something like that. So many possibilities to try new stuff with the franchise.
I would want to game about Thomas de Carneillon he seemed like a very interesting character. Plus, we only got to see him once. That or I would want to visit the time period ,During the hundred years war during the time of Joan of Arc.
I’d really like to see either the Mongol Empire, during the Three Kingdoms, or the Tang Dynasty. I think either could be really cool. Other Chinese time periods could also be cool like Qin Shi Huang’s dynasty but would be tough given existing lore and no Assassin order at that time. I know they got around that with Odyssey but would tough to do it again. Also they really should do some time during the Roman Empire. Either during Nero Claudius or sometime during the fall of the empire
We need a game during the Spanish Inquisition. I’d love to see Aguilar get his own game cause his character is very interesting. Also a game set during the Scottish war of independence would be amazing.
I like the idea of a AC game set in Ancient Rome and love to see it actually happen. More time periods that would be cool is an AC game set in the late 1800's to early 1900's more specifically is the Spanish-American War which Ubisoft could pick a country they want to set it in it could be in the Caribbean, Philippines, and other islands that is occupied by Spain. One more setting is the Napoleonic Wars we didn't really tackle much of that in Unity or none at all if I remember.
@user-bn8kq6pd7y Yes but I referred to what is said in the video which is Ancient Rome more specifically the time where Nero was still the emperor and the fall of Nero and the eruption of Mt. Vesuvius, it is said in the video. AC brotherhood was set in the Renaissance period but Ancient Rome would be interesting.
@@dragonmaster1334that time period would be amazing, i feel liek ubisoft could even make another trilogy with the first and second games in rome centering around nero and the year of the four emperors and the third game set in pompeii and ending with the protagonist dying. maybe mount vesuvius was actually an isu temple with an artifact inside, and removing that artifact caused the eruption. maybe the protagonist tries to stop a templar from taking the artifact but fails, and chases the templar through the city while the volcano erupts trying to get the artifact, succeeds, and then chooses to stay in the city and sacrifice himself in order to keep the artifact buried so no one else can abuse it why is there so much potential here
I think a Persian setting during Seljuk rule in the late 11th century CE would be great. The story would basically show the Hidden Ones in hiding and how an initiate is mentored by Hassan-i Sabbah, who forms the Assassins out of the remaining Hidden Ones after recapturing Alamut. The setting would include the Seljuk capital of Isfahan, cities like Qom and Rayy, the Silk Road, and the Daylam region where Alamut is located. It could include the return of the recruitment mechanic.
I'd love to have an Indian game! Imperial Rome/the fall of the republic is always a winner maybe linked in with a trip to the 'holy land' around the same time. Not so convinced about the Mongo Empire due to the sheer size of it but if it isn't an open would I could see it working. Here's some of my ideas: I would love to see the Holy Roman Empire to explore Germany and Czech lands. Maybe one set in the Balkans - perhaps ending with the assassination of Franz Ferdinand to tie it in with a historical event. One set in South America/Central America in the time of the Conquistadors - I'd love to climb Machu Picchu, that would be amazing. I'm certain there could be some awesome Chinese material too. I'd also like some proper Russian material too in an actual game. They could set a whole series in Tudor/Steward England with the War of the Roses, Henry VIII, the Spanish Armada and the Civil War. So much scope in so many places I'm looking forward to the Japan setting if its a full open world game :)
When I bought AC 3 I thought it was the US civil war which always fascinates me. But then I found out it was the revolutionary war. So that would be cool I think. Ancient India would cool for all the different events happening there but I was imagining a South & SE Asia open world. One's character could be like the prince of the last king of the Indian Empire, having to deal with the arrival of the British Colonists. Or the child of a British colonist themselves. If they expanded into SE Asia, one could have mountains, jungles, cities, villages, towns, desert to explore! Think of the beauty and cultures one could visit. The Taj Mahal, buddhist, sikh and hindu temples, mosques, etc. Maybe it's a character that is a monk that goes on a spiritual journey or the child of a Hindu and Muslim who is cast out of their family and ends up becoming a monk, later becoming an assassin when their monastery is burnt down or they're accused of killing some important people? Yeah it would be a long and HUGE open world rpg (which there are AC fans that don't like) but it would be really cool and could tie somehow to a ac game about the mongol empire and/or the chinese empire? Screw Isu and the pieces of Eden like in the other games. Heck the character could be the reincarnation of a Hindu god blessed with seeing the astra. It worked for Valhalla and Mirage with Basim being nothing but the reincarnation of Loki. Ancient Rome would be cool and you wouldn't even need to do just the peak. This game could expand Rome's founding, incorporating the legend of Romulus and Remus through Rome's empire to their fall. Possibly another open world rpg but imagine it...that's a lot of history. The main character could be a gladiator captured as a child and grew up a slave or maybe a senator/descendant who was part of the killing of JC? You have JC's assassination, the building of the colleseum, etc. Maybe the main character is a demigod of one of the Roman Gods and a mortal. Bringing back the sailing around the mediterranean (like the greek islands in AC Odyssey) but also tons of land travel too. Though we don't need another crossover with Kassanda/Alexios. Oh...maybe the character is a child who escaped Pompeii or Herculeam and is captured as a slave/sentenced to the gladiator ring? Just imagine that opening shot! Starts out daily life in Pompeii or Herculeam with citizens/MC going about their daily life only for the volcano to erupt? Then flipping forward to the gladiator ring as a teen or adult with maybe interactive flashbacks/cut scenes of their childhood? The ending leading into a game about the start of ancient persia? Perhaps the mc's child? If I'm getting ancient persia wrong timewise then scratch that but it could lead into the next major world empire regardless at the ending.
Ever since we get to play briefly as that Templar Knight at the start of Unity, I've always wanted a game from that medieval setting. I don't mind if it's either a Templar focused game around Jacques de Molay or the opposing Assassin Brotherhood. The series started from the first historically recorded Hashashin, I want one set during the rule to the fall of the Templar. Also Andalusia. We only got to see so little from the 2016 film, and also I want more Aguilar / Callum contents.
So as much as I enjoy this topic of various settings AC could visit, I don't believe it's endless as mentioned. However I'm optimistic about the possibilities! One place that I find crazy that no one ever mentions is Persia! This would be parkour heaven(Remember Prince of Persia)? Why has this Not been brought up? That would allow for the perfect tie-in as a crossover storyline! One can only hope I guess.
I've always wanted India as a setting, especially being part Indian myself. I wish that instead of chronicles, we got a full-fledged game. And I think one day we will. I'd also love to see one set during the wild west. Buuut. I don't think a better game can be done in that era than RDR2
The time period you said in Tenochtitlan in the last video, The Keita Dynasty during the reign of Mansa Musa, the Tang Dynasty with Wu Zetian and 1920- 1930s Los Angeles.
I would like to see some AC: Games involving the American Civil War, and the Scottish Wars of Independence. Now those would make for dramatic backdrops. Also I totally agree with you about Mongolia and Ancient Rome. But if we do Ancient Rome let it be with the AC: Origins sequel we deserves with Amunet as the main character and Bayek as the supporting character.
I would kinda like an Assassins Creed on Crete during the Minoan civilization. But it would be long before the Hidden Ones were created. But it lasted until 1100 BCE and the Order of the Ancients was created around 1334 BCE according to the wiki. Crete also had good trade relations with Egypt, so there would be a direct connection. Some other things that could be used: - the middle and late Minoan civilization dealt with a bunch of catastrophes beginning in 1700 BCE with an earthquake that destroyed a lot of the infrastructure, but maybe there was also an invasion from Anatolia/Asia Minor and around the same time Mainland Greece reached a new milestone of cutural development thanks to Minoan influence. Maybe those catastrophes are somehow connected to powerful Isu artefacts or something and a bunch of Minoan leaders use these artefacts before the Order of Ancients to gain power and even share some of the secrets with the Greeks. The player could either be a proto-Assassin (wiki: "Before the Hidden Ones were created by Bayek and Aya, there were like-minded individuals that fought the Order of the Ancients and their predecessors") trying to save his/her home from the destructive power of the artefacts which will eventually lead to more catastrophes (like a vulcano eruption around 1600 bce and another earthquake around 1450 bce which destroys some of the main centres of power on Crete) and invasions by other civilizations or we could play as one of those people who think they can use the artefacts for the good of their people (their ideology isn't as refined at that point, they are just a secret society trying to improve things) and we slowly learn the danger associated with it. - a defensive mountain side called Karfi survived well into the Iron Age and sheltered some of the last survivors of the Minoan Civilization for a long time. Could be a proto-Alamut or a place protected by the Order of the Ancients where those artefacts are hidden. - The civilization probably ended because they were conquered by Mycenaean Greeks. Maybe they were quite open about the Isu artefacts and shared those secrets relatively freely and were then invaded because the Mycenaean Greeks wanted to control it themselves. And this then influenced the proto-templars to work in secret.
I just finished my second play through of Odyssey, and this made me think, WHY there was some ruins based around key points for the isu, and why the ruins were doing building directly over, and or making sure the areas were closed, before they “died out” and then the things they did were scattered! Could also make sense as to why these things weren’t more common knowledge, but instead just “myths”.
They should do a full blown game based in early 20th century Ireland and our fight against the English. Now I know that might piss some people off but just listen. We literally had a bunch of unknown people using guerrilla and stealth tactics to quickly take out targets/informants. We can have them as part of the Templar Order inside the British government. We also literally had a group called the IRB (Irish Republican Brotherhood) and no, that is NOT the IRA before anyone gets all worked up over that. We can have Michael Collins and De Valera as the master assassin/ high ranking assassin that we learn from as the brits genuinely couldn't catch collins or even get a glimpse of what he looked like which is ideal for a game like AC. If done right, I think that could he a very good game
@@TheHiddenOne690 yeah us Irish have a tonne of history about this kind of thing. They were actually a secret oath bound organisation that started the Easter Rising against the British. It's something that is worth reading up about. Tonnes of history there and Ubisoft could take advantage of
There is an assassin that was shown during AC Unity, on the Helix menu thing that is from Ireland apparently. "An Irish Assassin operated in Ireland during the country's War of Independence from 1919 to 1921." On the AC wiki the page is called the Irish assassin.
@@Walshy94 I don't really know much about that event, even though I'm British, so it would be nice to learn about it with the game, perhaps they'll do it in the future.
India could be fun with an opening like AC Odyssey where we would learn fight during Panipat battle and then we would follow the fall of the mughal empire and, depending on the duration of the game, the beginning of the marathi war. This way we would have 3 factions with mughal, maraths and near the end, British, working as high level enemies.
Id LOVE an origins sequel set in Rome starring Amunet, and a game set during the Russian October Revolution with the Bolshevik Assassin's Brotherhood Id also love a game set on the border of Germania and the Roman Empire where you play as Arminius, German-born but taken hostage in Rome, with the battle of Teutoburg forest where he and a coalition of Germanic tribes drove back the Romans
80 Years War of Dutch Independence or the Dutch Golden Age that follows after it is the way to go. You got (corrupt) merchants, great parkour in Amsterdam, which was a city of refuge for the religious and all free-thinkers for centuries. Most notably Portuguese jews, and various other communities who could be used for the story. So rather than having the game focused on typically one people, or a few, it could be much more diverse. You could have the story start on the days leading up to the Iconoclasm. If you know the history you know why it is the perfect fit. William of Orange revolting against the catholic king of Spain could bring back some of that classic Assassin VS. Templar fight we got in the Ezio trilogy. Calvinism VS. Catholicism. Naturally, we have seen our fair share of Inquisition. Moreover, there is great potential for overseas (naval) missions. Parts of Indonesia could be added in a contained map, as well as Capetown, South Africa. You could also explore some of the Dutch West-Indies (Dutch Brazil for one). So it'd be a mix of Black Flag and the Ezio trilogy, style-wise. Oh... and maybe there is a way of giving Rembrandt a role to play, like Da Vinci did in ACII and Brotherhood. I would love to see some of those mysterious Apple puzzles return, and we get to see all these works of art from the Dutch masters. Other notable figures are Desiderius Erasmus (who was already involved with Ezio's sister Claudia and the Assassins according to the lore and could fill in a Machiavelli-type of role), Baruch Spinoza, the brothers Johan & Cornelis de Witt, Maurice of Orange, Johan van Oldebarneveldt, Michiel de Ruyter, Johannes Vermeer, Philip II of Spain, Maria Habsburg of Spain, the Duke of Alba. Probably can't have them all, though. Either the Dutch Revolt (80 Years War) or the Dutch Golden Age of trade and commerce must be picked in fear of it getting too extensive... And I don't think another Ezio-trilogy with one main character is going to happen again. Those two eras I mentioned are consecutive eras that span more than a 100 years and if you want to do both, the protagonist would not be there to witness both given his/her age. Anyway. Before Patrice "The Goat" Désilets left Ubi he had plans for a game set in Amsterdam, that to the best of my knowledge is still in the works, but put on hold. Amsterdam 1666 I believe. It'd be a smart move to make a game set in Amsterdam. And there are more places in The Netherlands that would work well in an AC game. The Hague is a must, that's where the political heart is and where a lot of turmoil had been brewing especially during the end days of the Dutch Golden Age. Another smaller city such as Delft could be added, because that is where the royal family had their residence and it is also where William of Orange was assassinated by a French catholic.
There is a Roman assassin that exists during the 4th century when Constantine I is around. He was on the Helix interface in AC Unity. It's on the wiki along with the Hibernia assassin and a new age jazz assassin.
@@TheHiddenOne690 What do you mean by unkown? There were 3 in the Helix menu that haven't been in any games so far, The Roman one, the Hibernia one and the Jazz one. 4th century is a bit later than what you mention in the video but the fact he exists may mean we get to play him eventually.
@@TheHiddenOne690 Oh yeah, his name isn't mentioned, same as the other two. Literally just called "Roman Assassin" on the wiki, we'd be able to Constantinople at an earlier time compared to revelations.
Assassins Creed during Chola Empire India would be great. South India + South East Asia , Sri Lanka , parts of Indonesia , phillipines , myanmar etc with Naval combat as Cholas were said to have best Naval of that time . Now mix that with exploratation , some gorgeous statues of Lord Shiva as Cholas were Lord Shiva Bhakts . "Shivalingam" as some type of interactive thing which you can use to open caves , the great Tamil Architecure and its beauty . It would be Great af.
I think the Boer war would be an interesting setting. Something I’ve never seen represented in video games. Or really any setting in history where Britain occupies or has conflict with their colonies is a safe bet for a guaranteed good setting. Another thing I always wanted to see was Robin Hood. Robin Hood and his merry men seems too good to not make a legend of an Assassin and his brotherhood. Even if he wasn’t really real. As long as Medieval England isn’t off the table after Valhalla. Though unlike Saxon/Viking Britain this would be firmly in the Plantagenet Middle Ages during the 3rd Crusade. Pretty much the exact same time as AC1
an ac game set in the later years of the dutch golden age could be a great setting with the rampjaar or Johan de wit or the roman roman parthian war in the 30's BC as a bayek sequel where he fights both sides and learns thinks like social stealth and parkour that became fundamentals of the creed. and old gameplay elements could return like assassin recruits.
I think a game set in South America could be cool. Perhaps an Aztec theme involving the Spanish sailing from Europe and wiping out the Aztec civilisation. I think the Aztec city of Tenochtitlan could be a great setting, utilising the waterways and bridges and not to mention the gigantic step-pyramids everywhere.
Personally Im eager to play assassin's creed in two settings: Ancient Rome and Ancient Celts. (Perhaps these two can be combined since Romans and Celts were fighting, not to mention the Ryze son of Rome like TheHiddenOne shows in the video). I mean there is the comic which the protagonist is Aquilus but I hope the developers could create a game either with Aquilus as a protagonist, or as Leonius or as Brutus at least (Well I know that Brutus is already in Assassin's creed origins as not the protagonist but perhaps a sequel that you can play as him? or as a prequel i guess?
As much as i am fine with your leaning towards ancient times, i would rather go forward in time, ww1, ww2, cold war Also i just recently finished book AC: Heresy and damn, game set in medieval France with Jane of Arc would be awesome
If they make an Assassin Creed game in india it'd be apart of the British Colonial. Since in most games the British are portrayed as the Templar Order.
I would love to see one set in Ireland. During the war of independence/Irish civil war. Could be an assassin fighting on the side of the freedom fighters and the Irish volunteers against the British. The Black and Tans etc. loads of chances for historical characters as well. Michael Collins, Winston Churchill etc. Could also flash forward to the troubles of the 60s/70s etc.
There is an IRA assassin mentioned on the AC wiki just called the "Irish Assassin". Operated between 1919 and 1921 in the Irish War of Independence. Would be really cool.
I would love to see them do something with Norway, properly. During WW2, for example. Dense but small European buildings and beautiful scenery. Undercover (real) operations to stop the Nazis. Perfect for parkour and assassinations. Real events.
Not so much is time period But location as well, That I’d like to see, is feudal Japan. Templars having weaseled their way into the shogunate or as a daimyo, With the hidden ones Operating as ninjas. I can’t be the only one who thinks that this would be perfect?
They could do one in Persia. Around the time when The Prince of Persia was alive. If anything make him a cameo in the game. That would be a way to bring the iconic character back to the main stream.
I've fell in love with two ideas; 1) Punk Rock Britain - Punk Rock Assassin vs Abstergo and a corrupt establishment 2) Romani history during the 14th/15th century.
Given how good the little we've seen of WWI was, I think I'd love an AC game set in WWI Russia. Think about it: It would very likely not be an rpg-style game but a regular one, there are many historical events and characters they could use like Rasputin or the Revolution, the better technology could allow for more, newer stealth gadgets... so much potential there WW2 France would also be literally perfect with the Resistance and all, they were literally HIDDEN PEOPLE WHO FOUGHT, SABOTAGED ETC FOR FREEDOM
I've been saying Mughal Empire for years. All the things I like about assassins is there; the Eastern aesthetic, the martial arts, the weapons. There's also an obvious cautionary tale there when you look at the decadence of the ruling classes. I would also like to see Altair again!
I don't think Indians would like that since mughals were invaders and a bunch of tyrants. They don't even have much significance to indian history or culture other the genocides against native Hindu Indians. I'd rather have it be set in time of Mauryan Rule than Mughal. Since Mauryans were actually ancient unlike Mughals, who were in Medieval period
@@ungodlybeast8436 why will anyone perform Assassination in tht period ..no political or personal motive. Also if there were such Assassination culture present ..they are unknown.. also it will be very difficult to design parkour in such setting . It will turn into another rpg
I mean we did get “Rome” but not Ancient Rome. I would die if there was a Ancient Rome ac, especially if we got to see more of Bayak and Aya, but even if it was set before Odyssey time, especially to see what the “ruins” we see now, in the time they were up and running.
Ubisoft needs more growth and people to even make a portion of Indian history. Long way before Ubisoft can give proper justice to Indian history and mythology.

- Netherlands during 80 year war with Spain. Could be an amazing dense city
- Mali, Timbuktu.
I wish certain charcters got sequels like Connor, Edward, or Bayek.
I would LOVE an AC game set during the Cold War. You're basically making AC3 on steroids!!
Colonial Brazil would be fire too
Assassin’s Creed based on Philippines’ Spanish Colonization era is such a good time period they could explore.
Lapu Lapu

Great animations and gameplay clips as always!
Medieval Britain would be great. Getting to play through Arthurian legend would be amazing.
Great video, it captures the biggest reason I love the series, History.
Portugal during the Age of Exploration
Perhaps go a before it started and explore the 1383-85 crisis. With Aljubarrota battle, siege of Lisbon, death of D.Fernando and betrayal of the queen. The rise of D.João I.
The Taj Mahal would be an all-time great Assassin’s Creed landmark to climb. They absolutely have to do it one day.
Starting out using clubs, Obsidian knives , bolas, obsidian spears and then ending up getting an obsidian club and for range an atl-atl

That would be so fire tho. they could have like the protagonists or his targets the people who influences others (idk what words i should use to explain it in)
My Pitch for time periods and their assassins (some are similar to yours, most aren't):
English Civil War: We play as Lord William Sutton, a Templar attempting to manipulate the Monarchy and control how England's army will progress.
I think the Spanish American war would be a good one, with some metal gear solid type espionage
Dutch Golden Age. Amsterdam is the perfect city for assassin's creed.
I could definitely see an AC game with Amsterdam, Leiden, Delft ,& the Hague as the main cities set around 1672, including the time us Dutch ate some important government guys because we blamed them for our military losses
Loved this video. Keep it up!
@@jasoncoladonato1034 Thank you for reading. The history is always there, they just have to use it! :) Cheers for the comment!
Man this concept looks good😮
What do you think?

I’d like to see an AC game set in the southern hemisphere. A couple ideas I’ve had:
- Inca Empire
The game could be set by the time of Spanish arrival. You’d see your glorious cities fall to ruin and your civilisation crumble by disease. Perhaps you’d fight the Spanish throughout the game. At some point you’d be enslaved, but would escape.
- Empire of Brazil - 1800s
The game could be set in either Rio de Janeiro or São Paulo, maybe a bit of both.
- Buenos Aires - late 1800s
- New Zealand - late 1800s
I just really like the nature.
I would love a setting in HRE, the Investiture Controversy or fights between Guelphs and Ghibellines would be interesting aspects of the game

We need one based in ancient Iran, or Saudia arabia, around the islamic times would be amazing for an assassin's creed game, not only does it give feel but it matches the area, assassin's originating in Egypt and moving into arabia would be fun! especially around areas such as medina which would be fun to play!
Mirage being in Iraq seems to probably be the closest we'll ever come to seeing the series played in Iran
id like to see the Islamic Golden Age during the Abbasid Caliphate be showcased
edit: now that i think about it, mirage is pretty much the closest like that other guy said.

As a history lover, In case of India i really wish that if they make their series on india ,then mauryan & gupta empire would be best as it was the largest and wealthiest empire india could ever get all time ,also it had conflicts and relation with macedonian greeks and persia as well.. so yeah other than this, indus-valley would be the best but it doesn't have more details that we can make whole game on it so mauryan empire would be the best
And Trust me if game based on mughal came ,probably will get banned in india for sure, its already topic of controversy here.. instead they could've make game on real indian empires rather than these turkic and mongolian empire otherwise it wolill be the game dedicted to turkmanista or central asia not for INDIA
Wasn’t ac brotherhood set in rome
@user-bn8kq6pd7y
Yes but I referred to what is said in the video which is Ancient Rome more specifically the time where Nero was still the emperor and the fall of Nero and the eruption of Mt.
1950s NYC parkour would be insane
So much scope in so many places
I'm looking forward to the Japan setting if its a full open world game :)
Hmmm can we get this channel to 10k before Mirage comes out? It definitely earned it already
An ac game with characters like akbar and birbal taking place in delhi would be perfection
I would like to see some AC: Games involving the American Civil War, and the Scottish Wars of Independence. Now those would make for dramatic backdrops. Also I totally agree with you about Mongolia and Ancient Rome. But if we do Ancient Rome let it be with the AC: Origins sequel we deserves with Amunet as the main character and Bayek as the supporting character.
amazing content bro
appreciate that
Babylon and it’s surrounding areas, B.C. Times
Some other things that could be used:
- the middle and late Minoan civilization dealt with a bunch of catastrophes beginning in 1700 BCE with an earthquake that destroyed a lot of the infrastructure, but maybe there was also an invasion from Anatolia/Asia Minor and around the same time Mainland Greece reached a new milestone of cutural development thanks to Minoan influence.
I really wish ubisoft will make an assassins creed game take place in indonesia during the VOC time.
If done right, I think that could he a very good game
thats an interesting one, i've never heard of the IRB before, sounds interesting
@@ligerowns it's just surprises me that Ubisoft never jumped all over that despite the fact they reference it
@@Walshy94 I don't really know much about that event, even though I'm British, so it would be nice to learn about it with the game, perhaps they'll do it in the future.
One during either the second or first world war, preferably the second considering that Bad Moustache Man was searching for occult objects.
Id LOVE an origins sequel set in Rome starring Amunet, and a game set during the Russian October Revolution with the Bolshevik Assassin's Brotherhood
Id also love a game set on the border of Germania and the Roman Empire where you play as Arminius, German-born but taken hostage in Rome, with the battle of Teutoburg forest where he and a coalition of Germanic tribes drove back the Romans
What do you think of project red which is set in Feudal Japan? and I really hope to see ancient India and The Mongol Empire.
The potential for these Astras being pieces of Eden is huge. Would love an ac game set in India like that
I agree. So much potential to use astras
They did make a few games involving Asia too.
Is he the unknown one
@@TheHiddenOne690 What do you mean by unkown? There were 3 in the Helix menu that haven't been in any games so far, The Roman one, the Hibernia one and the Jazz one. 4th century is a bit later than what you mention in the video but the fact he exists may mean we get to play him eventually.
@@ligerowns his name is unknown. That's what I meant. I know he's mentioned as he witnessed Constantinople alongside Constantine.
@@TheHiddenOne690 Oh yeah, his name isn't mentioned, same as the other two. Literally just called "Roman Assassin" on the wiki, we'd be able to Constantinople at an earlier time compared to revelations.
@@ligerowns that's some good information. Pretty promising stuff. Now we know there's an assassin in the roman empire.
I want to AC game set in two periods would see in the future game:
1. Thirty Years War
2. Burmese-Siamese War
I would love too see a sequel for bayek and one for connor arno and shay before other time periods but india would be a great setting
Thankfully we are getting India in assassin’s creed nebula
An AC game set in colonial Brazil would be dope, or one set around the ragamuffin war
If they do an Ancient Rome game I’d love to play as Aya or Aquilus (from the comics)
The fact u didn’t mention Robin Hood is crazy imagine being Robin Hood and becoming an assassin with your merrymen
an ac game set in the later years of the dutch golden age could be a great setting with the rampjaar or Johan de wit or the roman roman parthian war in the 30's BC as a bayek sequel where he fights both sides and learns thinks like social stealth and parkour that became fundamentals of the creed. and old gameplay elements could return like assassin recruits.
The Aztecs were in North America, not South.
Personally Im eager to play assassin's creed in two settings:
Ancient Rome and Ancient Celts.
As much as i am fine with your leaning towards ancient times, i would rather go forward in time, ww1, ww2, cold war
Also i just recently finished book AC: Heresy and damn, game set in medieval France with Jane of Arc would be awesome
I'd like an AC game based in Ancient Rome, especially in the final days of the Roman Empire
Spoken like an Irish person
A Dutch person likes this idea.
There is an IRA assassin mentioned on the AC wiki just called the "Irish Assassin". Operated between 1919 and 1921 in the Irish War of Independence. Would be really cool.
@@carwynwilliams7398 how did you know😂
@@Kuhmuhnistische_Partei never knew that. Sounds good
I would love to see them do something with Norway, properly. During WW2, for example. Dense but small European buildings and beautiful scenery. Undercover (real) operations to stop the Nazis. Perfect for parkour and assassinations. Real events.
American Civil War, War of 1812, and I know that it is way before the hidden ones where created but the Punic Wars (bring back naval combat)
Not so much is time period But location as well, That I’d like to see, is feudal Japan. Templars having weaseled their way into the shogunate or as a daimyo, With the hidden ones Operating as ninjas. I can’t be the only one who thinks that this would be perfect?
Not making an origins sequel during the reign of Augustus was a big L on Goobisoft's part
They could do one in Persia. Around the time when The Prince of Persia was alive. If anything make him a cameo in the game. That would be a way to bring the iconic character back to the main stream.
They exist in separate worlds
prince of persia isn't exactly historically accurate my guy🤣
Would be cool as an Easter egg, you've got me wondering if Ubi have done it already.
I would love to see an Assassin's Creed set during the Scottish Wars of Independence. Think Braveheart but more historically accurate
I would love to see either the invasion of Australia or the stolen generation which is also Australian
I've fell in love with two ideas;
1) Punk Rock Britain - Punk Rock Assassin vs Abstergo and a corrupt establishment
2) Romani history during the 14th/15th century.
i just want a bayek sequel tbh
Given how good the little we've seen of WWI was, I think I'd love an AC game set in WWI Russia. Think about it: It would very likely not be an rpg-style game but a regular one, there are many historical events and characters they could use like Rasputin or the Revolution, the better technology could allow for more, newer stealth gadgets... so much potential there
WW2 France would also be literally perfect with the Resistance and all, they were literally HIDDEN PEOPLE WHO FOUGHT, SABOTAGED ETC FOR FREEDOM
I would love another AC game but playing as another templar during the crusades.
I always thought about an assassin's creed game set during the Akkadian Empire 4,000 years ago. the first ever recorded empire in human history
Wouldn’t make much sense

I mean we did get “Rome” but not Ancient Rome. I would die if there was a Ancient Rome ac, especially if we got to see more of Bayak and Aya, but even if it was set before Odyssey time, especially to see what the “ruins” we see now, in the time they were up and running.
I want a south african ac game maybe the Jan Van Riebeeck time
1950's new york might be a cool period
I think that Rome is a great idea. Under the reign of a tyrannical emperor would be good. Like Nero or Commodus
Ubisoft needs more growth and people to even make a portion of Indian history. Long way before Ubisoft can give proper justice to Indian history and mythology.
