    Amazing robot! I’m disabled back wise. I love the things it can do! Now just need to make the size larger. I own a CNC. I could maybe have someone cut out some pieces for me for part of the shape. What I am not familiar with is all the electronics. Like, possibly wanting it to be controlled with wheelchair motors to move some heavy things around the house or yard for my wife. Lastly, couldn’t using something, for faster processessing of more detailed information such as using 3 different webcams being processed each separately on their own pi4 as well as 1 pi4 processessing best vision between the 3. By utilizing algorithms to even make more educated guesses than just 1 processor. Best US area companies for everything robotics??

    Awesome, great job, How did you achieve that fast response to object detection and robot movement actions? Usually if you make fast moves with the camera the object detector model doesn't work really, normally you need to do really slow movements to the object detector works well, and how do you handle false positives? Like a cup that is really far away but your model display a bounding box almost the same size that your camera resolution.

    I just ordered a raspberry pi smart car kit (comes in 4 days :D). I'm hoping to make it into a personal assistant. I'd like to implant conversational AI and do some fancy stuff with other types of AI to attempt and combine all their networks into one for a super smart robot.....whether or not the pi can handle that is yet to be seen lol
    I'd strap a GTX 1660Ti on it if I have to lmao

    DEAR SARAL KIND SIR……. I WILL APPLY THAR RASPBERRY PI AND CODE TO A LARGE MACHINE THAT RUNS FROM 12Volt truck battery. Can you assist me in completing the proper power connection to raspberry pi? The truck 12Volt battery powers qty 2 windshield wiper motors that pushes wheels.
    A windshield wiper motor can lift 400POUNDS!!,!!,
    So it will follow me out doors. And pick up large sticks and put them in trailer I have.
    I am disabled and cannot pick up things!
    Please respond!

      That super cool! Good luck! Yes you can use a similar computer vision pipeline but you’ll want to use a different image ML model. Perhaps even a different camera since rgb cameras aren’t the best at detecting different shades of gray. (Look into ir based cameras too)

    Wow, very nice! I came here from the Adafruit tweet, but Subscribed to your channel. Great work!
    One question I did have - do you have to be at the same level of the Robot (sitting) for it to "see" your face? I'd imagine putting the camera on an actuator & allowing it to tilt upward would help that. Could the same code that checked left & right boundaries be used to check for top / bottom, and adjust as necessary?

    • @TheKauff
      @TheKauff 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    Do you have website for base track wheels and parts website? I need electrical engineer to select electrical items that attach and regulate truck battery power for strong wheel motors I will use (truck windshield wiper motor(s). Also on the lift arm to pick up heavier objects. I will design /weld light steel frame and robotic arm myself.
