I've been waiting for a couple of years for the concrete protective dome covering, like this 07:09 I would like to know the radio cement to latex paint? I've got the canvas~
I hope to have a video out this week. Thanks for watching and thanks for being supportive - it really helps to hear that you are interested. Thanks again, John Hurt
I used pure Sika Latex or the cheapest white latex paint, and mixed it with the Portland until it made a slurry. I also cut it with about 50% water. When you make cement, it is like a recipe that you "tweak", and you can make it too runny or too thick. So there is no ratio, just do it. Thanks again, John
@@sjr7822 Thank you so much for your comments. We have been busy, people keep ordering our domes, I guess that is good, but it takes up all of our time when we could be doing fun "creative" things instead. For some reason, orders have dried up the last week or so, and I am back making videos - what a relief, I guess. Look for my next video, hopefully today. Thanks again, John Hurt
Many thanks for bringing back the channel content! Looking forward to doing a rebuild of my dome based on some of the ideas you've shared.
Thanks for watching the video. I finally got back in the groove. John Hurt

@@ZipTieDomes Grin, your recipe for 'feel' reminds me of my grandmom, she didn't use recipes, she went by 'feel' of her bread dough. Thank you!
Comments are now turned on, sorry about that. John Hurt
