Your videos wonderfully capture the essence of dynamics and motion. It's impressive how you've managed to record the sounds of cockpit due to turbulence, adding an extra layer of realism to your work. I think your style is quite unique and engaging. Keep up the great work!!!
Absolute amazing, that's the most intense approach ever with a greaser of a landing to boost. Hats off to the captain, amazing skills and calmness in the most turbulent approach I've seen.
You call that a greased landing? Not in my book. He landed long and had to make too many corrections at the last minute to keep it on the centerline. I'll take and ATR any day over one of these bouncing Betty's.
@@PilotWanderlust Whats the alternative? How about putting it down on the numbers and lining up. If he had AP engaged then he should have taken over. If he didnt have AP on then he should have. This was far from a commendable touchdown. I think new piliots dont even know what a perfect landing is anymore.

Working on private license and i enjoy the professionalism and how amazing CRM and auto of aircraft. Big fan of radio like vat and real ATC. What you have is the cockpit and that’s amazing to me. Seeing TOGO in action. Like I said wish i can zoom into the instruments. Hope TH-cam will fund enough to get a higher res camera! Great job and love what you and all pilots and ATC do! Huge team effort to keep our skies safe!!

Not to mention so many things observable upon MAN TOGA, such as AP2 automatically disconnecting leaving AP1 still active, APPR button automatically turns off, AP flying the SRS, etc. Very cool!
Great video and subscribed....One little observation, near the end of the video at 9:40 Two of your 'next videos click boxes' popped up before you even touched down, which slightly spoilt the end. Maybe allow a few more seconds in future videos before eagerly wanting viewers to click another of your vids. 😉
something like this happened to me last week, the go-around windshear ahead alert sounded, and the captain decided to apply the windshear TOGA, although the FCTM specifies that you can retract the flaps, you can do either go around flaps or wind shear toga
Go around - flaps is correct and best option in case you enter a windshear shortly thereafter. I did realize a few seconds later and switched to a soft go around for clean up. Thanks for sharing your experience!
That was just amazing to watch. The amount of professionalism these pilots have is just crazy. Captain just wanted to ask a question in general, Is it like that someone will get bored of flying airbus and not boeing or its always the passion for flying that will make him keep going? Which aircraft will you suggest to get rated on and why (737 or 320)?
Depending on your country/continent of residence, in Europe there are more A320 than B737 operator and a rating on the A320 would make more sense. But besides that, I prefer Airbus because it is more comfortable in the cockpit. Best wishes
Flap 3 the second time was a sensible idea, engine mode selector to IGN is also a good option! I'll forever be baffled about the whole autothrust off thing, but hey, we can't all be German can we 😎 Good job, good video!
I have a question (I don’t work in the industry, but enjoy/appreciate aviation). At the 2:50ish mark there is a dictated callout of “Go around windshear”. Is that the pilot, ATC, or an automated control from the computer because of conditions ahead?
Could the autoland be possible in this circumstances? Does manual piloting provide quicker reaction and more safety in this case in comparison to automation?
A normal go around is SOP in this case. Had to reduce thrust quickly and simultaneously with asking for go around to prevent overspeed condition. Thank you very much!
Predictive Windshear warning says „Go Around (windshear ahead)“. In would prefer a Go Around, in stead of a windshear escape maneuver (acc SOP) in order to perform a clean up and having a better performance during possible actual windshear.
This is correct, a normal go around is SOP in this case. Speed increased quickly and I asked for go around-flaps and simultaneously reduced thrust to prevent an overspeed condition. Have a merry Christmas!
when gpws says windshear u go toga and go around but do you fly over the shear or? what altitude is the call out? does is say long before you enter it? nice channel nice video!
Thank you very much! It is not a GPWS warning. It was a predictive windshear warning (PWS-weather radar) in approximately 2000 feet. Warning appears if windshear is detected ahead.
Hey Wanderlust, beautifully done! I noticed you called out the FMA when setting go around power, is that SOP at your carrier? Carriers here in the USA do not annunciate the FMA under any circumstance ((including normal)) so seeing it was suprising. Thank you.

Low visibility procedures must be in force and wind within limits to perform an autoland.
