And here I thought I was so clever in thinking I would be the only one who would want to name a white van Falkor. hahaha Congrats, happy for you both... & a bit jealous. ;)
It was nice to meet you both at the Volta camp meet up . A lot of nice people and a good time was had by all hope to see you at the next one or sooner on the road .
Guys I’m dying to know what made you trade in the one storyteller for the other storyteller what is it that convinced you so much that you like this one better than the other one please let me know if I am in line to buy one! Is it just the gas?
We didn’t do it because we thought we would like one better than the other. We had put 100,000 miles on the sprinter in 2 years and we just thought it would be good to freshen it up a bit. We wanted to try the transit because the band (the nadas) have a transit and really like it.
anyone think Storyteller would build a Mode LT with the Stealth or Beast upgrades per a customer request? Main reason is to have a 'gas' Stealth or Beast mode van version. In Colorado, Ford dealerships are quite common (i..e repairs)
@@lrobie123 True. I guess it depends on if you're a weekender, part time or full time van lifer/rv'er. Truck campers have come a long way & many with just about the same comforts. Trucks definitely more off road abilities too, a huge price difference I agree.
I pick my STO MODE LT this Friday at Campers Inn RV in Kingston, NH. I am the happiest guy in the world right now.
Frits is adorbs!!!
So cute.

2:40 that's the lights on/off button for the camper
Question, did u make the switch from mercedez to ford transit because you wanted gas (not diesel)? I would.

Nice footage you guyz! Was that Expo West (Flag)?
Thanks. No, that was a Volta rally in Michigan. We are headed to overland expo mountain west now.
Why did you switch to the mode LT from the Mercedes classic mode?
Does your van have ADaptive cruise control
Thank you for sharing and Congratulations! When did you order it? I heard it's like 1-2 year wait?
We ordered it immediately after it was announced on July 4th last year. It is a 1-2 year wait now, depending on what dealer you order from.
How much gallons per miles are you guys gettin? I’m at 10 miles/gallon with 800 miles.
We are at just under 10 mpgs after about 15,000 miles.

I think depends on the demand for the LT. If not a lot of sales, probably not. :(
@@FEARNoMore for the price of a Beast, can get a nice new RAM 3500 truck with truck tray and truck camper. Can use pickup for other stuff
