Love this rig! Oh and I bought a DJI phone gimbal because of you guys! Thanks for the rec! I love the thing!!! Can't wait for our paths to cross again.
It's a pretty sweet rig! Right on. So happy to hear that about the gimbal. It's a very simple, but effective. It's like having your own light saber. Use the force wisely! 😂 Looking forward to it. Great meeting ya Kev!
Really good design. By making everything multi purpose there is a feeling of space (you're trading this against changing the setup between night and day but it is quick) And you don't take up loads of space and light for a bathroom cubicle you use for 10 mins a day. Shower designs like this also make way more sense for a wide shouldered guy. Just need to squeeze in a mini wardrobe
This RV is amazing. Great for people who like to go out for long weekends, camping etc. I think it will be fine for you but if you plan to take Bailey and Brady it may be too small. I keep picturing them climbing on the screens. 🤣 Great video.
Yvonne. We were thinking the same thing about the screens. Not to mention their magnets so I would be afraid they would get out. Overall the bones of the Van is pretty dang cool and maneuverable to take us off grid. Thank you for tuning in. You rock girlfriend!
You can likely get a custom screen for the door that uses a ZIPPER entrance but its still going to juat snap in on the sides. If that is going to reliably keep your cat in I cannot say. If you really want to bring your cats and the cats escaping the RV is a legit fear I would seriously consider something thats going to have a more conventional door like a class C. Or if you are super committed to a van style build out your own and build your own secondary door inside the van. That would be significantly more complicated to frame out I think in an already completed set up.
Nice with lots of options. But way pricey lol. Something to consider, my in-laws bought a previous RV rental it's 2019 Class C 23 ft low miles for 50k.really nice and upgraded. Bought From a RV dealer here in California
It's a very nice boondocking Van, don't care for the toilet situation, the tiny fridge etc. The real issue is size for two people and two cats for full time living, don't think that's going to work very well. The upside to this one is quality of materials, the fold down chair, the volta system and that it's a 4x4 although unless you are really going in deep snow/mud it's not entirely necessary. Lastly is the price, that's a whole lotta moola for a tiny RV/Van.
All very good points Hannah. It seems these RV's currently are in. high demand so the after market value seems to increase. That may also have to do with the fact that it's on a Mercedes Chassis. We're thinking quite a bit about this size and style. It does feel to have a bit more room than some of their competitors at this size. This is why being able to get in one to really feel it out is important before taking that next step to buying one. Thank you for your input.
@@TurnItUpWorld one other complaint I have heard after watching many videos is the small water tanks, makes it difficult to really shower, and to cook since clean up is really hard without enough water.
Hey really love your content this is awesome . What is your preferred camera you use for filmmaking, I'd love to have a conversation and maybe even collaborate on different ways in telling stories through film!
Being first timers. We're definitely going New. Having a good warranty at first is important. A great suggestion We are definitely taking the height and the cats into consideration for this purchase. Thank you Alex.
Unless I hit the powerball tonight, this would be well out of my price range. It's too small for the price. I would definitely buy used. But that's just me.
There are very limited types of RV that can really go off road in all season. With that being said the used ones seem to be more expensive than the new ones. This is mainly due to the HIGH demand in these types of RVs with those true off road capabilities. Agree on the size...although this one felt a bit more spacious with a unique layout! Thanks for the input and if you hit powerball..We'll take one of these for our birthday! 🎁 😂
@@TurnItUpWorld didnt win the Powerball but there is still a chance for mega millions tomorrow and if I win that, what color ribbon would you like??? Lololol
The Storyteller had most of the bells 🔔 and whistles you were looking for but Dave in my opinion didn't look comfortable and the cats probably wouldn't be either. Good LUCK (777)in your search!!
It really does. Funny, I ( Tanya) was more on the fence about the comfort and Dave felt like he could be comfortable. That's why being able to truly get inside and feel it out on something like this important before making that decision to buy. Thank you for the 777. HERE WE GO!!!
I don’t understand why the Storyteller is so popular. I don’t like anything about the set up lol. For me, the Revel blow it out of the water and that’s why I went with the Revel myself
Too small for anything but a weekend. Definitely not feeling it. The sales rep/designer not wearing a proper mask killed it for me. Shows what little respect he had for you and Dave. Was that useless chin shield so he can show off his hipster moustache? I still recommend doing a conversion of a 26-28 seat Ford e450 7.3L diesel AWD shuttle bus which you can properly insulate and design to your specifications. Without proper four-season insulation, you are driving an oven during summer and a freezer during winter. Also, consider fuel costs of whichever one you decide to buy. Fuel costs can be quite dear for some of these caravans. You want lightweight materials and those composite doors may be sturdy but there are better lightweight options for better fuel savings. And all that hardware for the bed and desk and chairs can be bought and installed yourself. Same with the shower basin and the cassette toilet. You can have all the features you like for a third to half the cost. This is not an investment. It is an expense as you will see the rapid depreciation of the asset which is why I truly recommend that you and Dave consider designing your own conversion. That in itself could provide hundreds of hours of content! I've been an enthusiast for several years and have watched numerous conversion vlogs. The craziest was a young lass who didn't bother to insulate her skoolie! Total disaster! For less than the price of a new RV, you can build a conversion and get a new Tesla!
My solution for your cat and the door screen is to get rid of the cat LOL. I'm joking of course. Just tell the cat NO. Oh wait that would be advice for a dog. Not sure about a cat. They just do what they want...yeah get rid of the cat LOL.
So what do you honestly think of this RV? ( 🚍- Please be sure to like this video. We'd greatly appreciate it! 🥰)
Way Too small! You need a celebrity tour bus!

They're an awesome vehicle. The only drawback for me is the privy. I'd rather have a cassette w/a outside door tbh..
Too small for that much money buy used

Glad you enjoyed! Thank you both for tuning in. Can't wait to see y'all in your new baby! LET'S GO!!!! 🥳🚍
The Storyteller is currently on my dream list @ # 1. The only issue is money. If you can afford it, then go for it.
The echo or Solis from Winnebago would be the next size from revel.. what did u think about them or ur focus is 4x4

Insulation is key! My Travato has almost none :P
You upgraded rv?
We're working on our first RV. Super excited. Whoop! Whoop!
You should get one with a dry bath.
Thank you for the input, Tracy!

Did you know that you can electronically lift up the bed in the Revel???
We did! It’s pretty cool but we then lose the head room space for Dave whose 6’2 . It’s a pretty awesome rig for sure!

I can think of a couple reasons. The main bed is wider. There is a second bed/couch that looks to be practical. Is the electrical better?

Used class c would be much bigger and a lot less expensive I used to work at a rv lot and a full size shower bathroom bedroom
The Storyteller seems like really great build but I think it is just too small
It's definitely one of the smaller ones.
You get a much better deal if you buy a used one
Unfortunately because the demand on this style of RV, we've noticed the after market or used are more money than the used. 🤔
How is that a shower 🚿 cmon u deserve better Tanya
Why though y’all don’t need this it’s a headache and way too small
It looks too small for more than a few days for me. Can Dave even fit in the shower to wash his hair?
Too complicated
