Iv got an issue, would appreciate if someone could help. I have an ultranova hooked up to my laptop, running cubase 5. I also have a virus b rack. I have connected it to the ultranova via midi out from the ultranova and into the midi in on the virus. when I hit the keys on the ultranova it does trigger the virus which is fine. the problem is, when I record midi notes into cubase and play it back, it doesn't trigger the virus and there's no midi in signal showing on the virus. Iv tried everything and even rang the guys at novation but still no joy. any Ideas anyone?
Ever since I updated to MacOS Catalina and lost automap I can't hear my Ultranova in Logic anymore. I have it hooked up to the computer via USB, have a track with the Ultranova plugin and an audio track. I can't hear shit. Will probably sell the Ultranova now since I can't seem to get any help from Novation either.
@@SpeccyMan The Ultranova isn't compatible with macOS Catalina, but they have a beta driver on their website which fixed my audio issue, thankfully. Novation never did get back to me... which is weird because everyone always raves about their tech support.
hi, i made all the presets in ableton for the ultranova, but I can't hear the sounf in "live", it shows in the master volume track that it works, and I can record and what I play and hear it in a simple player. there's a screen: www.servimg.com/image_preview.php?i=139&u=17125627

how do i set up my mininova with ableton i have a audio interface with two trs inserts and midi in and out

Check in the global menu on the synth that local is turned on or you will hear no sound. The plugin itself doesn't make any sound!

when i try to choose an ASIO driver it says it fails to load. dont know what to do

does not work as a plugin with the mpc renaissance, i think i will be returning mine.
