  • I've learned that what truly draws guests back to a bar isn't solely the quality of the drinks, but the experience and connection they feel with the bartender.

A key takeaway is that people genuinely appreciate and respond to vulnerability. When we show genuine interest in someone, they often reciprocate with authenticity.
It's about creating an environment where guests feel valued and welcomed. In today's world, where genuine interactions are often masked by digital filters, being vulnerable with someone, even a stranger, can be incredibly freeing and foster authentic relationships.
Bartending has allowed me to step out of my comfort zone, enhancing my ability to engage with strangers and build meaningful connections. I've realized that customers often come in looking for a good time and are more open to dialogue in a relaxed setting.
My name is Nelson Lam. I bartend and teach you how to create a brand and monetize it via affiliate marketing.

Dropping knowledge bombs. “Strangers are just friends you haven’t met yet”. Love that perspective. Also, love the b-roll. Keep up the good work!!!

You're shining a light on the ins and outs of this industry that I haven't seen yet on a platform. I think it's really well done and this video should have more views.

I want to hear your story about how you started that job and your beginnings in the first bar where you were hired, e.g., from deciding to become bartender to the first couple of months you working there: challenges, from where you learned, etc..

I’m looking to become a bartender. I’m 19 and it’s legal where I’m at to serve but the only thing in kinda nervous about is just mixing the drinks. How / where do I start learning how to mix and what to mix together, or is it something you pick up at a job.

Hi, I'm a girl studying hospitality and I want to be a bartender as well. I'm the only one in my class who would like to study bartending and I kind of felt idk different, not like the others. Your videos are a part of the motivation for me to keep on believing that I can do it and that I'm just unique. I would like more of it if you don't mind. I love how you explain and show the reality.

I have left 4 jobs coz I dnt enjoy working there. There is no vibe at all. Now m working again but I dnt enjoy it. I guess m gonna give my resignation and become a bar tender. Bartender life is great. Meeting new people every day n experiencing new things, enjoying the work at the same time… we r earning.👍 That’s life man.

It never hurts to try right? If you're not enjoying what you are doing, bring your talent elsewhere and yes its true. We meet a lot of people and most of the time, you will forget their names. ^^

Was with my ex at the time and this bartender, super cool guy, went out of his way and made a heart shape strawberry icy for me to give to my ex, without my knowledge ofc. I get back from the restroom and see him hand me a glass cup, I asked "who's this for?" He replied with "you know, you asked me to make this for you when you got back." I was like OOOOH RIGHT, I tried playing along like I had the whole thing setup before hand, lol. Overall he made the experience very memorable, she absolutely loved it and loved that I "thought about her." I usually don't tip high, but he deserved the 20 cause my guy came through and I got laid that night 🤌😂

Been in training for my first bartending job at a new place opening next week. I find your videos and outlook to be encouraging and relatable. And I'm stoked to start! I also highly recommend How to Know a Person by David Brooks for more on human connection. Will definitely stop by for a drink on my next NY trip.
