Does this same logic apply if you're not playing on 16:9? I have an ultrawide so I know my ratio is more stretched than most ppl have. Also, is the reason aiming with controller feels so bad not because there is no acceleration? It seems like it's linear input, so to be good at range is going to make you super slow in CQ
The game seems using only cpu utilities and gpu does not have any affect on the game ,no matter what you do for graphic settings fps won't increase significantly that means all resources goes to CPU in a bad optimization .
Actually, you're all wrong and all really fucking stupid. The GPU is rendering in the objects that the CPU is telling it to. CPU Bottlenecking is because it doesn't have the ability to pull and place, apply physical properties and mass to objects, momentum, physics in general, directions of assets. If you have anything older than a 13600K you need to upgrade. Games are going to be relying heavily on CPU's until AI GPU integration takes over as the standard > 2026.
Hey man. I watch you and Stodeh and Phixate all the time and generally never ever comment on TH-cam. This video is extremely helpful. These settings actually work. With a 2070 super I was getting under 60fps which felt like dog shit and was probably more like 25 FPS. After editing the file I can get up around 90 or 100 FPS that actually feels like 90 FPS. Silky smooth and the controller sensitivity felt way better. You will have to re-adjust your sensitivity once you get the graphics settings locked down but it's well worth it. Well done, thank you sir.

However, there's been a few videos surfacing on yt right now that all focus simply on trying to maximize their performance, which really speaks to how badly the game is optimized. Tbf Warzone, Fortnite, apex legends all had moments in the beginning where the game wasn’t the best and hell Warzone still deals with it now far as optimization. It’s a beta game so can’t fully judge until the full release which it seems to be saying 57 days in the game menu. Sadly I’ll be on B06 then but if that game is ass I’m definitely in off the grind
@@SNIPEonSIGHT the beta excuse does not work anymore. DMZ has been in a beta state for 3 years and still out performs this trash. BO6 just had an early access/beta right? No FPS issues there. Point is if you release a game for all platforms, optimization should be the main focus instead of their battlepass. If it’s not playable then go back to lab and get it right.
@@MrDon730 My understanding is that the team is using the latest UE5 and is focused on graphics first.. and UE5 isn't ideal for current hardware. DMZ isn't a fair comparison since its the IW Engine. I know there are other UE5 games that run well.. but I'm not aware of any that are a Battle Royale with these graphics.

As someone whose been playing a lot of controller on pc since the overpowered aim assist became the norm, I tried controller with the settings listed and it made it better but I'm switching to mnk on this one. You can make controller work on pc but mnk is the way for sure...side note matching roller strafe to wasd strafe is very difficult especially with AD spamming, honestly think its good just hope when they implement cross play they don't increase aim assist (something tells me they will)
I have my PS5 controller settings to MAX sensitivity and the aiming still feels clunky and the slow down when trying to keep with a player who running is awful! Feels like its fighting back. I cant stand it

If you're on playstation you can go into your playstations settings then accessibility then controllers then custom button assignments then enable custom button assignments then customise your triggers to the bumpers.
When ever I change binds on controller on console they work in the range but soon as I get into a game all the buttons stop working and I can't aim or shoot or swap weapons

NICE VID increased my inventory screen to 144fps however the game still runs only as high as 60fps until in a gun fight it drops straight down to 12 so ill hold playing until its fixed

You can't assign a button hold/double press like you need to for switching weapons. In fact, switching weapons doesn't work at all under custom for me.
Ive edited and applied the setting u recommended and now the game launched on my 2nd monitor not my main, when i switch it to my main monitor theres my mouse doesnt respond to the monitor and i cant interact with anything on the screen. Also i have no option for fullscreen.
Message to everyone do not follow the settings for controller. Normally tactical. Brett is very good with this sort of stuff and certainly do not save the reader only file. Otherwise your settings for your controller when you adjust them will not save

Whoa whoa whoa, how are you assigning buttons to your paddles? Is this only doable on PS5? I can map my paddles on steam games, but if it can be done through epic, i still haven't figured out how... (I'm on PC, btw, if that wasn't obvious.) Also, in the gun range, each booth has a panel where you can make the targets strafe with 3 speeds to pick from.
you should be able to assign buttons to your paddles without steam or epic games. For example if you have scuff search how to assign my scuff paddels do a similar search for whichever controller you have and there will be videos teaching you how you just need the controller.

Yeah binding is awful I set everything up then in game everything stops working and doesn't let you aim

Had the same issue, I can't swap weapons when I change my binds. Did you find anything out?

this guy has a 4090 playing in 1440p and is struggling for 120 FPS. you won't be seeing the same performance lol
Whoa whoa whoa, how are you assigning buttons to your paddles? Is this only doable on PS5? I can map my paddles on steam games, but if it can be done through epic, i still haven't figured out how... (I'm on PC, btw, if that wasn't obvious.)
Also, in the gun range, each booth has a panel where you can make the targets strafe with 3 speeds to pick from.
you should be able to assign buttons to your paddles without steam or epic games. For example if you have scuff search how to assign my scuff paddels do a similar search for whichever controller you have and there will be videos teaching you how you just need the controller.
