Wow, how much wealth do you have to have in order to try a $750,000 bluff on 7-2 offsuit? I suppose as a regular, Jason makes some of this money back in the future, when other players are more likely to call when he has a good hand. But wow. (Nearly 30 minutes later into this session, at 34:55 Jason self assesses what he did as "f-ing stupid." He says that is his one stupid play for the year.....unless he gets 7-2 off again!!) Not only is this some the best poker in the world, these guys are treating it like a Thursday night friends game.

Greenwood could fold the river with his small flush, he only beats bluffs at that point. He bet out into a 5way pot then got raised then called that raise, ranges are pretty defined already at this point. Then the spade comes and Phua continues to bet anyway. I think Greenwood should actually lead the turn given that Phuas most likely hand is a flopped set or two pair that would likely check back turn. Anyway, once Greenwood calls the turn and then Phua bets the river, the only hands that Greenwood beats at that point are bluffs, some weird AsX bluff or QT I guess that Phua decided to go crazy with on the flop and continued bluffing with.
I like your analysis of the hand but respectfully disagree. I think he has to call even with the action post flop. When you have a flush it is unlikely your opponent has a flush. Paul would most likely bet sets and two pair for value otr and when you include bluffs into his range I think it’s just a crying call in this spot. Doug Polk says when they can be betting worse for value you just have to call it off. Not saying you’re wrong just a different opinion
It’s nice to see actual hand analysis though as opposed to people just saying terrible call etc!
Throughout the whole seried they have been value betting light and Greenwood showed minimal signs of aggression during the hand. I don't see how he can check fold that river v Phua.
