David wants to run the full 92km Celtic Shores Coastal Trail
Skylar wants to hike to Turner Brook & Rocky Brook Falls
More backcountry adventures
Snowmobile to Cape Clear if possible
Hike Cape Chignecto again
Kayak more (100 wild islands, to/around Port Hood Island, etc)
Camping/hiking trip to Keji
and lots more we aren't thinking of haha including finally getting our butts to NFLD 🤞

OMG... I will never EVER tire of watching your stuff. In fact, I will have to watch this again as I missed the back half of it because of tears in my eyes, from the beauty of NS you've captured. You know, we settled on coming to Nova Scotia largely on what we saw in your videos. I may be getting too old to climb up to some of the places you show (that may not stop me from trying!), but I can enjoy them through your videos... thank you, thank you, thank you!
UPDATE: Watching this again to remind myself about the warmer weather and sun that's coming our way. I noticed one scene in particular and said to Jackie: "Dang, he's flying that thing backwards with one hand while drinking coffee with the other hand AND acting like it's not there!". She chuckled, "Yep, he's got it going on... !" Indeed he does...
I miss the beauty of Nova Scotia. Forever my home no matter how far I have roamed...

I just finished watching this video AGAIN! It still takes my breath away. The Nova Scotia tourism board should really consider using this when presenting the best of this beautiful province to the rest of the world!

The creativity of your talent to capture those parts of our province that are not always shown on many other tourism videos is inspiring. This makes me homesick.moving home for good in 4 years to Cape Breton.Been to the west coast as well but it doesn’t compare to the east coast.

We certainly have a beautiful province! Only thing, I wish there were more time on each slide - by the time I look at where it's at, I've missed the picture lol
Hello. Need a really honest answer. How are your winters in general. I hear conflicting stuff. Some say you can't even venture outside from mid november till march, and that its foggy almost everyday. Ice pellets on a regular basis etc. My wife and I wanted to move there sometime in the future because of the sheer beauty of it all, but some things I read online freak us out, but I can't believe its that bad. I would expect the odd storm of snow, but is it really that bad?
@@sashlipinski7034It's not that bad for sure. It all depends on what part of the province you live in. I live in Cape Breton (the most beautiful part of Nova Scotia, in my opinion :P) . I live on the eastern coast of CB, and we get far less snow in winter than they do on the western coast. Today, we are getting some freezing rain, but we have no snow at all. I live right on the coast, so it's milder here. About not venturing out between November and March, well that's just ridiculous. We've had one snow storm this Winter, and it was gone in a couple of days. My brother lives near Halifax, and they have a ton of snow there. In June we do get a fair amount of fog, but definitely not every day. We may get some ice pellets overnight tonight, but we rarely get ice pellets. The summer months are beautiful. You might try visiting at different times of the year, before you make a decision, but I think you'll find it's nowhere near what you've seen online.

Spectacular and I second the one comment that this would make a great video for the government to promote tourism in Nova Scotia. It is the best one I have seen by far. Well done. You might want to reach out to the Nova Scotia department of tourism. A great video for them and ask them to prominently credit you in return. Might be good advertising for you too. It certainly is for the province.

Lovely video that captures the beauty of Nova Scotia, but definitely not all of it - really surprised that the amazing beauty of the Southern & South Western end of our province was woefully missed! Maybe next time...
We feel like we captured quite a bit of the southern area in this video 😀 Some spots like Keji and Yarmouth/Cape Forchu need special permits to drone.
@@daveyandsky, Ah yes! Didn't think of that. I'm guessing it's the same deal at Beach Meadows, Carter's Beach, Cherry Hill (piping plover nesting site), Green Bay, Rissers, Crescent Beach, Cape Sable Island, The Hawk, etc...??
Awesome! It's nice to see you listen to your viewers... I remember someone asking if you could label the locations. Nice. It took me over an hour to watch this video coz I was googling all the locations! Over the winter months, may I suggest a video or series suggestion (as I am sure you have lots of footage) How about a series where you show us clips from around the island and add voice overs to tell us all the activities (hiking, camping, beaches, museums, places to eat etc) in a particular location, then continue to the next location along the Cabot trail in a circle? Actually the whole island. Thanks for the cool video!!

Can't be done in winter but any other time you can make it if you go slow. We would recommend a truck or suv.

Thank you! Ah can only share the places we have actually visited, plus we’ve yet to be a part of any projects that allow drone permits in Keji NP. Hopefully someday!
You can however check out our meat cove video from earlier this year. The footage from it just didn’t make the cut. :)
Yup..Meat Cove, just about as close to heaven as you can get on this earth.

Hi. Beautiful video that is completely inspiring.... I am looking to move to NS. I would like some advice on where is the weather the most mild and I believe it is the South Shore. Is there a big difference between North and South of NS in terms of weather?
The locals don't seem to be as kind to people from outside the province moving there as they used to be.
Amazing aerial footage :-)!! I hope to capture a few around Cape Breton Island. But don't know where to get park permission :-(
Email the park and ask. We always have to have a park rep with us when flying in the park.

Beautiful scenery but I wish the locations were all readable. White lettering on white background is not possible t read .
