5.68 lakhs for the base variant, i think nissan has done more than enough to make their magnite a good car to buy. You can't get everything from any car and i think its more oriented towards comfort.
This car costs way lesser than i20 (a hatchback), why would it require a sunroof at this price point? If it was there as an option for XV and XV Premium it would have been better. Also they should increase steering response. It costs way lesser than its competition (Venue, Sonet, etc).

Totally agree. In this hot and humid environment, I don't know why I need a sunroof. Could be useful when people go on trips, but still feels overrated.
Seriously sunroof is the most useless feature in current generation cars. As the air quality of India is dusty & polluted hardly 5% of customers use sunroof while travelling. Instead of sunroof car companies should give safety features like 6 airbags, 360⁰ camera, hill hold assist, traction control etc.

One request, it would be useful to do reviews driving like normal people. I have been driving my car for more than 10 years now, I have driven 160/165 kmph but there is not a single occasion where I needed to drive in 90 kmph in 2nd gear. These cars are not meant to be drove like this...

Boss how can u compare the road handling with the venue and the sonet. They are atleast 3lakhs costlier variant to variant. So no comparison.
I felt like police was chasing Mr. Faisal and he was trying to escape rather than focusing on the review.
That may be true because he was testing the car on a busy road which has a speed limit of 60..but anything for business 😁

@@yasho1707 agreed kia and hyundai have better sales network but go check out prices of turbo automatic variants of Venue and Sonet. They easily will cost 2 to 3 lakhs more compared to Magnite. Problem with our mentality has already costed exit of Chevrolet from Indian markets. Fiat, whose diesel engines Maruti was boastingly using for years in its dabba cars and people were super happy. But when Fiat uses same engines we had problems.
I believe in a healthy competitive market. I have no gripe or favourable attachment towards any brand. I believe in maximum bang for the buck.
Back in 1999 I purchasedvHyundai Santro instead of Maruti when Hyundai was nothing in front of Maruti. And don't forget the world class Nissan GTR that Hyundai will never be able to rival. Nissan does not deserve to exit India like world class companies like Chevrolet and Fiat did due to our limited and illogical thinking.

Creator of this particular car is more Renault than Nissan. Intially this product is made for Renault later they changed their mind. That's why front it resembles Redi-go and fit and finish, panel gaps are not nissan level it's more like Redi-go,Kwid level, with Triber's platform that's the secret for this low Ex showroom price

For 90% of the folks out there, who would have this as their first car, the handling won't matter to you. Great review but understand it's Faisal's experience of driving numerous cars that his mind and body can easily distinguish between the best and mediocre drivability, which may not be the case for the majority and should not be a deal breaker.
This guy assumes that the reason for giving a smaller spare wheel is to cut cost or save space.... He doesnt even qualify to comment on the cars.... Remember he was shooed away from the Thailand Toyota showroom when he begged for their cars to review

Somehow I get the vibe nissan managed to give CVT version only to Autocar India first and that's seen in setting the attitude towards this review.
Interior plastic quality and ambience are far better than Maruti Vitara Brezza.
Nissan is a good brand ❤️ but should bring more products and improve their service.

It’s interesting you know how the same machine generates different responses from different people. Without dropping names, I would say another reviewer said the suspension is on the stiffer side and you’re saying it’s softer so a person watching gets slightly confused.
What I understand by seeing all review is Magnite is setuped on softer side. Handling and Steering is the weak link here..we can clearly see in video reviews car rolls quite a bit in corners and there is vertical movement also, as faisal said there is heavy nose dive as well.. only other reviewer(A I)who said it's on stiffer side, may be because of noisy suspension(don't know).

This car will do well because of its agressive pricing. Sunroof is not a big issue cause recently we saw Brezza topping the sales chart in Oct beating even the Sonet. Good design, space and useful features are its strong points. Nissan will do well🙏

Okay tell me is sunroof a crazy and essential feature to miss out? Is big 10 inch tablet required to drive a car? 8 inch won't be enough? I donno what features he is referring to always. For a car that costs wayyy less than competition they actually gave superb features. A 360 degree camera is very important feature, connected car tech might be handy. Not wise man not a wise review.
So true feels like he is simply biased. People in the comments too mentioned Hyundai and Kia and those cars cost at the minimum 2 lakhs more for top end variants.

Many informations are mismatching here compare to other reviews - for example the the pricing - Nissan has released the pricing between 5.5 L to 9 L and you in video it is said that 7 to 12 L.
Nissan has done a great job in providing so many features for the price range what I feel.
At 6:20, the speed jumps from 3 kmph to 42 kmph. Did you accidentally press the "Teleport" feature button?

Besides Datsun,Nissan,Renault,Dacia are companies which would not leave safety in bay so I feels like it would do a good job in ncap like kwid did...besides it is providing almost all basic safety features in base variant itself
