I saw them headline a show in Manchester, NH, but their drummer had an injury and couldn't play. Instead of cancelling the show, they played a one time acoustic show! It was super cool, and such a unique experience
The same for me, about this band and Noora in particilary. Beeing from Sweden I must admit that Nordic Metal bands hocked me a lot earlier, even before metal was named metal.
Their music is like good and strong coffee to me. Everytime I listen to it, I get more power and a better mood! I´ve already seen them live and I really like this band!
Noora is actually very, very VERY versatile. Absolute powerhouse on hard-/heavy rock and also excellent on more mellow stuff. One of the best woman singers, surely...
The note to self and "Fuck you, stop talking" were just wonderful. I wasn't a huge power metal fan until I found this band about a year ago. They're fantastic
Wow, even a keytar breakdown. Saw them open for Delain/Kamelot with about 1000 people in Des Moines. She was walking around d in the crown if full stage war paint and costume. No idea who she was at the time but with heels she might be about 5 feet tall. But she just owned the stage. The songs are just catchy. Especially if you grew up in the 80s. Bastard Son of Odin will get stuck in your head for days.
@@TankTheTech Yes Woolys. Saw Sabaton/Amon Amarth there as well. Very odd seeing them in such an intimate location then watching vids of them at festivals in Europe in front of thousands. And Junjer at the House of blues in Chicago was awesome.
Nooras voice is really unique and fits perfectly on their style. I'd say they sruggled with their sound for last couple albums, though there are great songs, but now all three singles are really solid bandwise, and Noora is just phenomenal. So really looking for this album, great start of 2022 in Finnish metal with tons of great new releases.
Nooras voice range is so out of this world, u should listen Black ninja or out of control, also let it roar tells own story of Nooras range! Cool reaction from u again. Cheers!
Finally Battle Beast! I hope, you like it. Tank I really like your reaction videos, your pure emotions, tears, headbanging. Man you rock! From Russia with love!🤘🤘🤘
Super glad you were finally able to check these guys out! They are one of my favorite bands alongside Sabaton and Powerwolf and I really think they deserve more attention. Noora's voice is incredible, for sure. Personally, out of the three singles released from the upcoming album this was actually my least favorite, but I still really like it. They have all been great so far. If I would have chosen a song to introduce the band to someone I would have probably said "Straight To The Heart" from their 2017 album Bringer Of Pain (there is also a really cool live version of that song from the Tuska Utopia online event I highly recommend checking out).
Well, I never really got into bands like this until recently, and they get damn near no exposure in the US. Only chance I would have ever heard about them was from someone else over here that likes them.
The last concert I attended before the pandemic was a Kamelot concert in October of 2019, with Sonata Artica and Battle Beast as openers. That was my first exposure to the latter two, and Battle Beast has a good classic sound. I haven’t seen this video yet, so I’ll wait for your reaction.
Nice, the last show I saw pre Covid was the Kansas City stop on that same tour. Noora's energy level is off the charts and she attacks the stage and I ended up liking Battle Beast more than I expected going into the show. It was the 5th time I'd seen Kamelot (2 with Tommy (including the Denver Nightwish singalong experiment with Alissa White-Gluz and Elize Ryd) immortalized in Learn the Setlist in 48 Hours tour doc), 2 with Roy, and a stop when Fabio Lione filled in) and 4th for Sonata, and they both delivered their usual tight, consumately professional sets, so Noora and BB were definitely the standouts in my mind.
Noora got recruited into Pentakill, the in game band of League of Legends. She got her own character, it's some winged demon-like woman, looks pretty kicks ass as she should.
Her character is Kayle, who is more of an angelic character. In the lore of LoL her sister Morgana is the fallen "angel". Which would fit more to the demonic look.
i saw then the first time with sabaton, second solo in a super small venue here in milan. i love the energy of the band, even if the last album left me quite unsatisfied, but hey LET IT ROAR
There are many great bands from Finland such APOCALYTICA the song NOT STRONG ENOUGH, NIGHTWISH, SONATA ARCTICA these are best Finnish rock bands in my opinion
Oh! This was a nice surprise! Besides Blind Channel and Nightwish, this is one of my favorite bands. Noora is phenomenal!!!!! Her voice is pure and raw power! One the most talented female singers I know. She has the rapsiness yet so on point everytime... Please react to their No More Hollywood Endings !
I saw them live opening for Sabaton in 2016 or 17, I think, and I immediately fell in love with her voice. She sounds exactly like that live, and they really leaned into that 80s power/glam metal vibe. Really powerful voice, and it really cuts through the mix to shine.
I saw both battle beast and beast in black live (each 3 times each because I can) before this entire pandemic started. And holy hell I am so happy that I did because hearing a voice like Noora's or Yannis' LIVE is an experience I cant put into words. Two extremely talented bands. This song is my personal favorite on that album, for some reason it strikes a nerve somewhere You might want to check out Avantasia - Unchain the Light and Ravenchild by the same band. Avantasia is a power metal band, but worth checking if youre curious enough to dig further into the genre!!
Battle Beast has slowly been growing on me because I absolutely love Noora's voice. I haven't been actively listening to them but I do enjoy their songs a lot! I also love Noora's and Netta Laurenne's project Laurenne/Louhimo because Netta has an amazing voice too and two of them together is just awesome!
Just saw "Wings of Light." That song hits hard too! Seriously, I think the one you did in this video is probably just one of their slower tempo songs. Might be worth checking out some of their other songs. I know I plan to.
I love Battle Beast. I saw them open up for Sonata Arctica, and Kamelot just before Covid. They completely stole the show. Best small venue performance that I've ever seen. I will say this particular song doesn't do much for me. They have a lot of peppier sounding stuff that absolutely rocks.
Hope you and your family is well! I've been listening to BB for a wile and this song is really good. But I want to tip you to listen to two of my favorite tracks 'King for a day' and 'No more Hollywood endings.' And as we say in Sweden Rocka på!
I got the album an hour ago and have listened to it straight through, just WOW Noora's voice is epic, I liked the earlier albums but this I love, Rock on
One of the oldest UK rock bands from the early 70's SAXON has just released few days ago a video music clip on the TH-cam called REMEMBER THE FALL very great one
Hey Tank, hope all is well. I'm finally getting ready for a year of touring (I hope). Noora is the go to guest singer on a lot of albums. She's amazing. I've got a great picture of her in her Battle Bitch outfit with my wife at a show. Take care and keep rocking
OMG someone is acknowledging Battle Beast? I have seen them live 3 times opening for Kamelot twice and Sonata Arctica once. They put on a hell of a live show. Noora is amazingly high energy as well as talented.
You're reaction is very special because you judge not only the song but give a brief description of the instruments also. It seems you have a vast knowledge of music instruments and I think you can also play many of them. It's good to see that true metalheads are coming to give their reactions of metal songs nowadays. Battle Beast are amazing live. Up until today I saw them twice, once at SummerBreeze and the other in a small club in Bochum, Germany (we drove over 600km for that show). If you want to check out more songs from the band, I'd recommend "Black Ninja", "We Will Fight", "Kingdom", "King For A Day", and "No More Hollywood Endings".

I’ve heard your commentary/saw your twitch reaction to Sonata Arctica and would love to see a more in depth reaction of the band if you have the time :) they’re severely underrated in my opinion, and one of my favourite bands, and I’d love to see a gear breakdown for them! I’ll keep saving my twitch channel points to put forward a track for you in the future either way :) Keep it coming!
Got to say when i heard battle beast the first time i realy didnt mind it an tought just another power metall band but then i saw them live. They are awesome and roudy and Noora is a goddess
Please, please, please check out more of their stuff brother. They've got some kick ass songs and their sound has really evolved lately. I saw them open for Sabaton a few years back and they rocked my freaking face off! I love this band and I would love to see you discover them.
Battle Beast nearly made us miss our flight back from Wacken in 2019. Our flight had been changed to an earlier time, so there wasnt much time between our shuttle bus back to the airport and the flight. Got to the oversized luggage drop off point to find BB checking their gear in :D Love them tho - first saw them supporting Nightwish in 2013 (with the original singer) and many times since, Noora is such a powerhouse of a singer, her voice is stunning (she released an excellent Solo album last year). Glad you finally checked BB out, tho i thnk they have a lot better songs, and live they are such a high energy band. They did a live stream in June 2020, just after Joona had just had an op to remove his appendix & was confined to a chair cos of course... The Show Must Go On
Finally a band I've heard before you! 😆 I love my power metal. TH-cam music recommended them to me. They have some faster beat songs that are more my style though.
My personal favourite song by Battle beast is Kingdom which is from their self titled Album "battle beast" and highly recommend checking it out. Although I may be a bit biased because it's about the ever incredible manga series of Berserk of which Anton is a massive fan and wrote multiple songs in battle beast and still does write songs in Beast in Black about the story. Also it's kinda crazy how Anton first managed to find Noora who is an outstanding singer then when founding beast in black he managed to find a male singer who is just as incredible, namely Yannis Papadopoulos in especially in his high notes he is incredible (he has even covered Nightwish's ghost love score on his youtube channel which not many male singers can pull off)
I love, love, love Battle Beast. Been a huge fan for years. I agree with some others in that this isn't their best track. I'd say the first two singles off this album are better. Noora is currently my favorite singer out there. She was born to be a rock star, and she's only getting better. Her solo album was very bluesy. She even did a Janis Joplin cover there. I saw them open for Kamelot and Sonata Arctica, and they were great. Great tracks to check out would be No More Hollywood Endings, King for a Day, Beyond the Burning Skies, and Push it to the Limit.
Have been a fan since before the first cd 2011. They won the price, best newcomber on Wacken 2010 and i remember how happy they were. In that time Nitte Valo was the singer. She's a very talent singer too. Battle Beast's 3 first cd's are heavier and my favorites. You should check them up. It seems you and me have the same taste .... in metal. And yes ..... i play myself since many years :)
Now, I haven't finished the video yet, but your initial comment leads me to think, you absolutely should have checked out one of their more action packed songs first. These guys also put on a hell of a show.
I really like their new song master of illusion. That song got me hooked on their new album Edit. They our touring the states next month and I'll be traveling to Chicago to see them because when they are in st Louis is a work day for me
i feel like singers that has been trained for classic is the ones that has alot more talent in controlling their voice, both floor and noora was first trained for classic so i think its definitely a good starting step if you want to succeed in a singing career
So glad you checked out battle beast! This is a really good song, but imo the weakest of their new releases, check out Master of Illusion from this album too! Also, there is a live video up on TH-cam of Wacken 2018, the whole set slaps so hard it's amazing
It's their newest release, so yeah, but be aware they're breaking new stylistic ground here. Their usual sound is more traditional metal, old school. I think of Noora as the female Dio. But yeah there's a lot of Pat Benatar, and more than a little Ann Wilson. Great Reaction!
Saw them open for Sabaton in Chicago a few years ago for the first time. Noora came out like a fire valkyire. And come on man, they have a keytar in it! Try the first two releases from the album; more up tempo.
I saw Battle Beast open for Kamelot/Delain in 2018 at the Concord Music Hall in Chicago. They were really good, live. Picked up their 'Battle Beast' album (their 2nd album, 1st with Noora) at their merch table. Pretty decent album, but not one that I spin alot. I like it, but dont love it.
They have 2 other singles that they have released from their new album with music videos called 'Eye of the Storm' and 'Master of illusion'. Highly recommend checking those out as well. :)
Noora's voice puts the beast in Battle Beast. I love that woman's range.
Even if the music isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, I think they can appreciate the bad ass that is Noora and her incredible range
I saw them headline a show in Manchester, NH, but their drummer had an injury and couldn't play. Instead of cancelling the show, they played a one time acoustic show! It was super cool, and such a unique experience
"King For A Day" was the song from them that hooked me in back in 2018 & got me started on my journey of discovering Nordic Metal bands.
The same for me, about this band and Noora in particilary.
Beeing from Sweden I must admit that Nordic Metal bands hocked me a lot earlier, even before metal was named metal.

Noora? Phenomenal? She's so overrated. The only people who think she's phenomenal are woke body positive feminists with no taste for metal.

Also it's kinda crazy how Anton first managed to find Noora who is an outstanding singer then when founding beast in black he managed to find a male singer who is just as incredible, namely Yannis Papadopoulos in especially in his high notes he is incredible (he has even covered Nightwish's ghost love score on his youtube channel which not many male singers can pull off)
Yeah, dude has some skill finding ridiculously good singers. Haha
Her voice is what makes the band.
Musically, i just have the feeling i have heard it before, not bad, just heard it before.
It has the same musical ideas as Sabaton does. Which is not really bad tbh :)
My mother's favorite band.
I didn't like this song the first time I heard. But I have now heard it three times and I love it. Can't wait to see your reaction :)
Every time I hear this song I like it more and more. It's also been stuck in my head since I filmed this reaction. Haha
This song sound dark elements..I love it💯🔥🎸🤘
Please react to their older stuff with the previous vocalist. She's also very talented.
Battle beast- enter the metal world.
Now, I haven't finished the video yet, but your initial comment leads me to think, you absolutely should have checked out one of their more action packed songs first. These guys also put on a hell of a show.
Alright that part before the solo was fucking AWESOME.
She got power, range and grit. damn.. Sort of a mix between Doro and Yannis papodopolopolus (or whatever)
Battle Beast are nice! Long time no see, Tank. Hope ya'll are doing well.
Hey thanks for your reactions on different kinds of metal. . Always good . Check out these 2 Danish bands, Baest and Orm . 🤘
If it has not been mentioned, check out Familiar Hell or No More Hollywood Endings
I really like their new song master of illusion. That song got me hooked on their new album
Edit. They our touring the states next month and I'll be traveling to Chicago to see them because when they are in st Louis is a work day for me
Noora can sing anything, ANYYYYYTHING!
i feel like singers that has been trained for classic is the ones that has alot more talent in controlling their voice, both floor and noora was first trained for classic so i think its definitely a good starting step if you want to succeed in a singing career
Noora is like a female version of Joakim from Sabaton
Yes, but I think is more of a Jorn Lande female version.
@@sujetovacio1213 This. Or Rob Halford
Noora voices Kayle in Riot Games' virtual metal band Pentakill. Might be something else for you to check out in your spare time.
Tank, Battle Beast will be touring with Dragonforce, Visions of Atlantis, and Seven Spires this spring--- you totally need to go see them live!
This song is ok. The first two released off this new album are much better imo.
Love the t-shirt! Orbit culture!
Yeah! Battle Beast!... Noora 😍... And the other singles are better...
They have 2 other singles that they have released from their new album with music videos called 'Eye of the Storm' and 'Master of illusion'. Highly recommend checking those out as well. :)
Master of Illusion is my favorite from the 3
Eye of The Storm is my favorite. The Lyrics hit me straight away.
