The ghoul in the beginning was locked in the store that she let free.
I get some of the frustration with Maximus but what else is he supposed to do about Hank? Lucy didn't warn him or try to stop him as she was in shock. Max saw someone in a vault dweller suit, in a cage, knowing Lucy was there to save her dad. Who else wouldn't release him in that situation? Also while he did fumble the gun in Philly he's an excellent shot as seen by the shootout on the bridge and the headshot to the bear mutant. Cheng needs to ease off him a little...
A lot of people don't seem to get Maximus. Seemingly expecting perfect competence from all protagonists in some regard. I like the character completely for who he is.
@@charlie7mason Agreed! I do wish the actor would get more credit for the ambiguity he portrays in Maximus. Right up until Dane admits to Max they were sent on the mission as a punishment for what they did to themselves I was unsure if he put the razor blade in their boot. Also how he played his final scene you don't know how he's going to utilize his new found position within the Brotherhood of Steel. That being said he's either my fifth or sixth favorite character on the show.
Yeah you are right, it's mostly just frustration seeing a character always end up messing things up now matter what they do. I understand why he is the way he is and can appreciate the writing and the acting as I think we discuss near the end of the episode, but yeah it's still frustrating 😂
The power armor scenes to Mr were supposed to be indicative that he doesn't have power armor training. In the games you can't even use it if you don't have training and he looked super wobbly when he was decending

I don't think Barb is in Vault 31. Those in Vault 31 are Bud´s buds, junior management/assistants. Barb was a higher up.
I also wonder who he wants to meet in New Vegas. From the game we know that Mr. House is/was there. Is this the one he want to meet, or someone else? We know that Vegas was heavily targeted by nukes, does it mean Mr House wasn't on good terms with Vault Tec anymore when the war started?

I dont think VT actually dropped the 1st bomb. Unless barb wasnt pushing the button herself. I mean her kid was on the surface. In fairness though this show has already subverted expectations so many times already. I also think thadeus is not a ghoul, but a super mutant. My theory: Hes gonna save max next season as a fully evolved SM for the reveal.
In fallout 3 the bomb in megaton got the vault-tec logo on it

Oh s*** is season 2 going to have Yes Man, The NCR, and remnants of Caesar's Legion if so that'll be so cool oh yeah and maybe The Kings could make an appearance oh yeah and out of the entire Brotherhood Of Steel i like Lyon's Pride the best because they actually became good and tried to help the Capital Wasteland

Think you guys have completely missed the point on Maximus . You're not the only ones, but def amongst the top of the people that don't understand at all. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion of course.
What were you expecting from Max? Lucy and Max are supposed to be opposites of one another. She's just as naive and can make stupid decisions, just like Max. She's also capable of making wise choices, like Max. They both have to learn to survive in the Wastelands
Honestly surprised by the way you guys have reacted to Max. Considering all of the other shows you both react to, you're usually spot on. However, for Fallout i feel like it's been a complete swing and a miss
Appreciate the constructive comment. I think we did understand his character, maybe more so after initially watching this a month or so ago. If i remember right we discussed it a bit after the episode.
I think we understand why he is the way he is and can see what the writing is doing, it's just very frustrating, especially for myself to watch a character who despite his well intentions just always make the poor decision that makes things worse 😅
If you jump into new vegas I'm sure there will be some characters returning, the house always wins. I think next season won't be the big big bad they were teasing in the board room, I'm definitely intrigued.

i want a fallout game where u meet cell of BoS that is not so good (unlike some cells who are trying to help ppl), when u get out of the vault (main story doesn't start yet) mission just tells u to find a settlement but first u need to find some1 who can talk to u about the are so u could find a settlement/semi-faction not real more like a group, group u chose gets attacked and high tech taken and ur unmade group (u name it later when u become a faction) is left in to poor conditions (they don't liberate, they just take and leave u to ur fate) so u guys decide to create a new faction, u decide to find power armor and recruit more ppl, the guys from FO4 who dealt with power armor are also in that game so u get some trough them to if u find them, otherwise its harder, so u will then play a part and join BoS just so later u can take control of airship, u get in with ur team, at 1point u make radio call to all BoS cells and say that BoS who are helping ppl join forces with us to clean the world from this trouble makers, it starts BoS civil war, that's 1main mission chain, there are 2, u build a lot of settlement's, not all from ground up, u go to NPC settlement's, they end up joining so u build high tech defense and they will also assist, all under u have power armor and once u squash the local BoS u have more high tech

As this shows canon, seems it was all.manipulated and caused by vault tec
The games don't give a definitive answer. I played every entry aside from 76.
