My husband and I live in FL and last weekend we went to Disney World for his birthday. He also made the droid. It’s so cute 🥰 we also introduced it to our dog and she hated it lol. She would not stop viciously barking at it and kept hitting it with her nose hahaha.

Hey Hope! There are ways to clear up your lava lamp. Running the fluid through a 0.01 Micron 5-Stage Water Filter (with the CARBON FILTER REMOVED) a few times. Or you can replace the fluid using a product called OneShot, but you would need to dye the fluid again with that option. In that case the recommended purple would be j herbin violette pensee (fountain pen ink). lmk if you need more info! I collect and restore lava lamps
To be fair; I’ve been to Disneyland at least 30 times in the past 15 years (in my defense we lived in SoCal for a while and I took EVERY opportunity- And the Matterhorn has 100% only been open one time, and that was in 2021. So don’t you worry, it’s all of our childhood dreams, being the only mountain we couldn’t ride ever! 😂😂😂

I stayed at the Grand Floridian at Disney World and it was not worth the cost, looks like the same concept as the Grand Californian you stayed at. Those chicken fingers looked incredible!!
Too funny about the Matterhorn! When I was 12, I'm now 68, we went as a famiky, and heading there, my mom said all she wanted to do was the matter horn. Dad said lets look around, as we had limited finances. By the time he said ok, the line circked the park, and we didn't have time... Mom has passed, and who knows if I'll make it back either, but thanks for the memory spike!!!!

So the Cinderella suite can’t be booked but it can be won in a contest for charities like make-a-wish or whenever they decide to have an auction where you can bid for a night or two. Makes sense because if they just let people book it the waiting list would be years out and only wealthy people would be able to book that I imagine.

A lot of major hotel brands now have keyless entry so you don’t have to go to front desk! when you do early check in on app we can have the room ready for you on arrival, it makes things easier for everyone - hilton employee
The hotel you stayed at is inspired by the historic Ahwahnee Hotel inside Yosemite National Park. Yosemite is amazing if you haven't been . It blew me away !!

Have never been to Disneyland, only Disney World, and honestly, when I went, Epcot wasn't even built yet!! It was at least 1980 or so. Wasn't impressed, and never went back. To do these parks well enough to have a good time, you have to have $$$$$$. LOTS of $$$$. Looks like you had a fantastic time and enjoyed everything, especially the Matterhorn! And Leo and the droid......priceless!
The last time I was at Disney it was in the 70’s and River Country had just opened in Florida. We camped in Wilderness Park for week. After that we went to the Keys to camp for a week then home to Michigan and snow lol.
I went on that rollercoaster when i was in middle school, it was so fun, but my mom was freaking out so much when we started to go backwards I thought she was gonna throw up on me, lol

When I went to Disney World during Halloween in 2017, I was in my wheelchair. My mum pushed me through all the spooky attractions so I’d get jumped scared and she’d casually stroll through after me 😂
Next time you go, you need to try the lobster nachos at the bar at Pixar Pier and the fried chicken at the Plaza Inn. They blow Carnation Cafe out of the water with their chicken!! And yes, they are different for whatever reason😊

Hi Hope. We did Disney world in 07. Rooms was around $110 a night at pop century. Halloween was only $35. So different than today. But it was great.
