A local small business in my town sells silicone cups for the soy wax melts she makes. You then just pop them out of the mould and put them in a container if you’ll use it again or the bin if not. Best invention ever.

You can also take a couple of paper towels and absorb the fully melted wax. You do have to be a little more careful with this but it’s still super simple.
For your wax warmer, insead of putting the wax melts directly on the surface and making a mess, there's little cups you can get (they look like cupcake wrappers). When the wax cools, you can just pop it out and reuse the cups. 😁

Hey Hope! Wax melt tip from a candle maker! Melt the wax in the warmer and once it is all melted, put in cotton balls to soak up the wax and then use another clean one to get any wax missed! Makes life soooo much easier!
As an avid wax melt user, easiest way to clean it is drop a cotton ball while it’s hot and melted and it soaks it up almost instantly. Works like magic😍

Yes, gel candles were popular but they also started fires easily if not watched. Glade candles were notorious for their gel candles starting fires.
