This might be the best tutorial out there but I have one question, is there an alternative savepatcher version? the one that you recommend has multiple viruses on it, so I would like to know if there is any alternative for modifying the save file so that you can have more than one additonal car in the game
i did everything and i installed Porsche 962c and i also installed extra option but the car didn't show up, it's still 32/32 cars, the addon car didn't appear :(
Hey! Thank you very much for this tutorial and links! but I do need help with something... I'm using Rework + reshade only, and playing from the version that came with the rework file. For some reason, some races are not counting progress, it happened for the first time in the second race vs Sonny, in which the laps wouldn't count and I couldn't finish the race. Then I deleted the save file + settings file from documents, started a new career and now the bug happens on the third race from the tutorial. Have u heard of this bug before or can u point me something to do?
Hmm that's weird I don't have such a bug. Maybe try this: download this new Extra options github.com/ExOptsTeam/NFSMWExOpts/releases and copy scripts folder and dinput8.dll file to your games directory

But I figured what's happening (kinda), it seems that this version has different tracks/races than the original game (at least mine has), the second race vs Sonny is wildly different, it has a stadium part in it, it's when the bug happens: the minimap shows the parking lot of the stadium as the path, but the game doesn't block the FIELD and if I go through it instead of through the parking lot, it bugs the progress of the race. So my question is, does this version actually comes with different tracks/races or is it a bug in mine? if it does come, can I put the originals in? I tried copying the TRACKS folder from the clean copy you provided, but it didn't help, I think there's probably more files that I need other than the TRACKS folder.
@@atomicsnatch2537 In rework zip file you downloaded there is Optional folder and inside there is a Classic Tracks folder so copy the contents of that folder to your games folder

Open ReShade.ini file and under [INPUT] section, search for KeyOverlay, now its KeyOverlay=36,0,0,0 and change the values according tot the buttons you want i.e. KeyMenu=113,0,1 - Shift+F2
Thank you for this tutorial, I used it a few days ago, along with ReduxV3 which I found in another of your videos, and so far everything has gone very well. However I made the mistake today of installing 2 cars and remembered that in order to load them I would have to patch my save. The Save Patcher itself doesn't show my save but through trying the editor I think it's because the save is supposed to be under My Documents, but it isn't it's in the main game directory. I can't figure out a way to alter where the Patcher is looking or where my game is putting the save file. I tested if the cars were installed by starting another profile and they have so Ive narrowed it down to most likely the save location. Any advice would be really appreciated

As long as you did .ini files with the right hasher values for every car you added then you can run save patcher just once and it should patch your profile totally fine

When i downloaded the mods and went to installing save patcher and detected it as anti virus, i decided otherwise and went back to playing vanilla instead.. however it started crashing randomly whenever im playing.... Worst is it doesnt launch anymore and keeps on exiting. I have to restart my whole pc first before it can launch again. How do you fix this?

Legitimate question hoping for a quick response, i installed a z tune skyline using binary/vlted as usual and it loads but tires are missing. Now when i want add a second car via same method/following instructions. The car i add afterwards still loads as a z tune skyline with no tires. For example if i install a A90 Supra, when i load the game and check it out it appears as a z tune skyline. Any and all help is appreciated.

Also my controller layout is a little weird in the menus and don't see where to change that at in the scripts. Other than that the game looks great.
Cool tutorial mann although the process of installing mods is quite annoying and long, once you get the hang of it it's not as hard as it seems, I have some knowledge in coding and stuff, might try to code a program that does all of this without pressing a billion buttons LOL

I can’t load the binary. I get the error for FRONTEND\FRONTB.LZC saying a specified module could not be found, and if the file is moved from the directory it cannot load binary as it wants that file 😢

I cant install the VLTed Software, since it doesnt show as a ZIP file, so I cant extract the folder, neither can I start up the folder. Same goes for Ed car dealer. Pls help.

Install most wanted extra options nfsmods.xyz/mod/43 it fixed some of my issues, hope it helps

It’s not virus it’s safe to use, you’ll have to turn off the windows defender to be able to download it and than you can turn it back on

Where is the directory folder location to attach the unlimited binary file at 1:54? You just skip right past that part.

If your save game file got corrupted when loading it, you need to use save patcher that I showed in this video to patch that save file.

Cool tutorial mann although the process of installing mods is quite annoying and long, once you get the hang of it it's not as hard as it seems, I have some knowledge in coding and stuff, might try to code a program that does all of this without pressing a billion buttons LOL

after installing 1 car mod the game runs fine but after installing 2 car mods when I try to open the game it says "the application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005) " how to fix this ?
I can’t load the binary. I get the error for FRONTEND\FRONTB.LZC saying a specified module could not be found, and if the file is moved from the directory it cannot load binary as it wants that file 😢
why can't i see my saves in savepatcher?
its in exemples (idk did i write right) and extract it than put that savepatcher file in there (i hope you understand me)
Thanks to you, I have added the car but the save is broken. I downloaded another save but it's still same ''profile appears to be damaged and cannot be used'' I did SavePatcher exactly like you said and nothing is changed. Could you please help me?

make sure that in settings anti-aliasing is set to off and set visual treatment to low and over bright to off
