@@hfisher2959 hi, is this comment for me or Jasmine?
I am sharing this video. Because Caribbean people frequent Miami and other American places to shop. Some complain about the visa process. Most Europeans countries offer the Caribbean visa free travel. This is a great alternative. The stores in America probably get their clothing from here.
Yes! I'm like this really could benefit alot of people
❤you are in a Muslim country, It is prayer time.
What is the name of the Market ?
Honestly, I believe American shops get their products from China.
@MirianLifestyle you need to read the comment again instead of looking for negativity to point out. She said Miami AND American places, review your English before being a miserable hater😊
I don’t know how TH-cam got me watching this but I’m so happy meeting my Nigerian sister.
She’s so beautiful, eloquent, articulate and lovable.
Please pass my love to her.
She is fabulous
DITTO . But I wish she would have purchased…. 😞 maybe she did and didn’t show it 🤔 I dunno 🤷
This your comment has really changed my mind about Nigerians hating on each other bc of tribe n other things. All l could hear is my Nigerian sister and love. Keep it up God is love ❤❤ l love Nigeria too.
@@rachelopara6333I am a Nigerian and I have been blessed by wonderful Nigerians. There are horrible and nice people in every nation. Let’s keep loving one another. God is love ❤️
This is surreal, my daughter graduated this Spring and for her prom we purchased the yellow version of the green corset dress you love from Dillards for around $300. It is a stunning dress and the yellow looked amazing against my baby’s chocolate skin.
Our Nigerian auntie looks great she don’t need to be shy!
Let her know ! ❤
Auntie? How old are you 5?
She is young and vibrant and pretty!

Girl I would have went crazy and spent my savings to open a store with those gorgeous dresses. Just stunning pieces. Please continue with series.
Praise should be recognised for her excellent customer service experience. I’m watching from the UK and her explanation of how to purchase was very clear and direct.. I will definitely visit this place in future . Thank you for posting this…. And yes please do tour the wholesale outlets
Praise has me sold as well 😊Gorgeous, kind, and to the point!
Series please 🙏🏾
Auntie is a stellar saleswoman, and I pray she sees the full extent of fruits from her labor. ❤
I love that you respect the no camera policy. So many influencers do not respect boundaries. Thank you
I love how Nigerians are everywhere ❤
They have no choice, there country is so rich and people are so poor.
We no dey carry last
She has an American accent!
@@ashleyriblet2326 Meaning, people learn a language and can learn an accent also.
This where imma get my bridesmaids dresses yup
Friday.....they goes to the mosque...to pray at that time.
Muslim territory.
Well not for the whole day. Usually between the noon and 2 pm. People don't go there often because it's a wholesale and second there's a economic crisis.
not that life starts like when sun off in turkiye
I love Instanbul.❤and enjoyed my stay there. When American dollars are used instead of Levs ( Turkey), it’s easier. The American dollar has a great exchange rate there. If something cost $10, that translate into 20 Levs to $1.00. Prices are great when shopping with American money. People were wonderful too. In the Grand Bazaar, an all male salesmen made me sit to rest and they made Turkish tea for me. One gave me a beautiful hand embroidered shawl free as a gift to take back to America. I wish I could go back. People were so nice, friendly, helpful.
Currency is Lira not Leva(that's in Bulgaria)but yes, because of inflation they prefer $
Levs? You mean lira
And they did that so you can buy stuff from them. Nothing is free with those guys. They are professional salesman unfortunately.
They do that with every single person who they see shopping and they con out of money. Please read up and study about the country you are traveling to before you visit.
@@ingvildaberga3484 How you doing
You are so respectful - asking the workers if they mind the camera or not & even taking the time to politely translate! ❤made me want to subscribe. Great video! Keep it up 👍
Great video! I was in Istanbul many years ago and I pledged to never go back (the people were ok, but the vibe was off). Praise was such a warm and inviting person--I just might consider giving Istanbul one more try!
You are such a well-poised young woman and you're onto something BIG! Since this video is taking off, keep creating content around this topic like business ideas for boutiques with products from Turkey, maybe work some numbers to show people various budgets for bridal, prom, event attire etc. Maybe a video to list out everything you did to prepare for your trip (travel itinerary, visa, lodging, transportation, favorite shops, food, budget). Maybe even create a digital eBook or planner for starting a boutique and where to get product. But definitely act quickly because this video is getting insane traffic!!!
So, for those of us a bit closer to Turkey, this is well known. Perhaps due to our proximity but Turkish bazaars and shopping in Istanbul is legendary. For reference, I am from Hungary.
You guys are discovering turkey now. Our African aunties across Europe have known about this forever!
😅 that's true but how many people have brought it to the fore ...like before our very eyes? It's always hush hush especially in Nigeria...I love that she actually met a Nigerian ❤😊
Woo Hoo! Good for you. 🙄🙄
Exactly! 😀
That's relevant because?
And they were 🤐
Those colorful clothes are for "kına gecesi" , which is a special tradition in Turkey. The day before the wedding, brides hold a separate ceremony for female guests only, this is a part of the wedding. They make a temporary tattoo called henna on the bride's hand, and make the bride cry by singing emotional songs :)
Henna is the plant used to make the paste used to make the tatoo, not the tatoo itself.
I watched that on their series alot
@@rachelopara6333 In Turks, the henna ritual is performed on 3 living beings: newly married women, men who enlist in the military, and rams on Eid al-Adha. It means that the woman must sacrifice herself for her family when necessary, the soldier for his homeland, and the ram for God.
@@MarmaraKazm-ld7imwow so interesting ❤
It's like a bridal shower concept but turkish or Islamic version.
I love that you’re mindful about the camera
This was a great video
The Nigerian lady could also probably tell you where to get hair products from. Usually an area where Africans or Expats congregate is where you can find hair products

Hello Jasmine, I love your vlogs. Friday in Turkey is like a Sunday in the States. It usually picks up in the afternoon & evening.
Friday is a working day in Turkey. Holidays are Saturday and Sunday.

Great info and video! I found you when you packing to leave Houston and been watching ever since! You are so relatable and an awesome spirited person. May you be abundantly Blessed!
What a brilliant tour.
Creating a series to explore the lovely opportunities in the Turkish fashion industry is an eye opener❤❤❤
Step aside France and Italy, there's a new and untouched fashion capital, known as Istanbul 🎉🎉🎉
Just back from 10 days in Turkiye, Instabul, Izmer, Urla, Alaçatı and Cesme. If you get a chance to get down to Izmer area, I highly recommend Alaçatı Pazar Yeri as a fun market to check out. The little area of Alaçatı is absolutely adorable too and really nice beaches. Just an hour, cheap flight from Istanbul. Enjoy!
I am actually interested in finding out more about this company, I will be opening my very first store next year, and I’m looking to expand my inventory. I’d love to see you do series about this company. You’ve got me thinking a different direction. Thanks for posting!
Congratulations on another amazing video and also on your new business venture. You’ve just shown what opportunities can transpire when you step out of your comfort zone. Well done 👏🏾 👏🏾 👏🏾
OMG Jasx, you are a God send. Thank you so much for sharing. I knew there were vendors in Turkey but unsure about where the good ones. Always planned to visot one day. I love a series on wholesaler options in Turkey so I can continue to put your webinar and digital product materials from back in the day to work again.❤❤❤
Praise is sooo kind. Sending some love to our beautiful Nigerian sister ❤
Take advantage of thse opportunities when you are young. Just be mindful if international legalities between countries. So check out good legal advice before doing or signing anything. Good luck!
you can also pass through Aksaray or Beyazit ,there ,it's always full of people everyday ...
I’ve never seen anything like this in my life this shopping area makes all the other places like London Italy France etc. Quite bland and dreary. Well done Türkiye.
I’m also an American in Istanbul, loving it
How was the process to get there n what area do you recommend??
It looked like the driver was sitting there like, “are you going to even acknowledge me…”.
Gurl you make me want to drop everything and jet over to Türkiye! Everything you showed is in my “class line”! I’ve been married (and divorced) three times but I think I can do it once more just to wear one of those high end gowns! I’m gagging over here in Atlanta! I watch a lot of Turkish shows and often wondered where they get their clothing. I wonder who are the stylists for the actresses because their clothes are so unique, not what I see here in the States. You’ve shown some unique pieces.
It was great that you ran into the Nigerian lady. She really elevated the tour experience. I really enjoyed this and would like to visit there one day for the fashion experience.
How are you so comfortable all by yourself abroad…you are brave, girl!
I’ve travelled to Türkiye alone a few times, haven’t had any issues as yet.
I don't know how the heck I was recommended your video but I had to come back and tell you how much I am enjoying watching your travels. You are a brave young lady! Goodness I could NEVER travel alone like you. My hair would fall out and I would have hives all over like chicken pox. I can barely Uber to the store alone. Thank you for sharing. I'm taking my 1st cruise and leaving the country to Mexico another 1st with my 2 moms and 2 daughters. Your videos are helping ease some anxiety about traveling. I haven't caught up totally but I'm sorry to hear your Europe tour ended early. You take everything with a smile... the world needs more people like you in it.
Thank you for showing us the world 🌍
Thank you for watching ❤
Local people would shop elsewhere and it is Friday (Muslim) and people who have been may buy online/shipped. I am not surprised as I seek out such places in any country I visit that has factories for clothing, dishware or whatever. Any country that manufactures clothing has a location somewhere in that country. Have you been to Shenzhen China clothing and art village there. China also has a four story wedding dress store. In Hong Kong I asked and so many women had gorgeous dresses for events, clubs. Just a matter of finding the source. Bangladesh I went to a similar store and then many floors of shoes in another. If you go to a factory you will learn that many types of shirts (or whatever) come from the same factory. Each buyer determines the quality, tags and such. USD is easy common denominator as a reference. There are also ways to find new with tags wedding dresses in the US, dress shops get rid of them when they get new. As an example Zz's Discount in Memphis TN has new with tags wedding dresses for $50, prom/brides/evening for $20. Agreed it is a good business to go into in the US as there is room for good profit. I miss hearing prayers. Thanks for sharing your adventures.
I love Nigerian the culture food and people. I can watch there movies and weddings all day I’m glad I came across your channel I’m a new subscriber love it ❤
I’ve been to Istanbul twice and hated it. It was nothing like what you’ve caught on camera for me. I’m glad you enjoyed yourself. ❤
What was it like?
Midday Friday 🤷🏻♀️ people probably at the mosque 🕌 praying .
And tell them it’s TH-cam and they will love the camera just like the taxi driver at the start

I love praise. She is a woman of wisdom. How she twisted the multiple husband to one husband vibe is admirable.
Turkey has been doing clothing for the west for like over a decade. But west usually does china & india for casual and cheap clothes.
Turkey clothes are top for muslim fashion.

You found my secret spot!! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🔥
I remember watching your wholesale video when you were over there. The secret is out now lol
It has been a while since I discover your channel. In that center you can also choose products and stich your brand too. I advice you yo find a photographer open a online shop in US and have export certification from Turkey. Then you can be the own model of your own brand and boss. It is a profitable job if you sell it online all over the world. All big brands having their products from there. Especially wedding dresses.
15:35 Girl, my name is Carla. Now I am going to have to look up that boutique! Also I hope that you dine at one of the Turkish Four Seasons hotels. I bet they're nice.
It’s like a shopping center for boutique owners … I love the video but they want you to buy that’s why they may have been looking strange but I would be buying …. Very interesting video for us that know the wholesale market we understand you can only get in with credentials as a store owner …….. show more stores for sure 👍🏾

So basically vendors travel to Turkey and purchase dresses in bulk and sell them online for double the price? That’s genius
The American Way.. Capitalism 👍🏾
That's how my sister made money
@@chantaldesravines7801 All steps of this process is driven by capitalism, not just the purchase and resell. You wouldn't have ANY of this without capitalism. It is an economic system that exists due to supply and demand. Pure capitalism is not your problem and it is laughable to point to America as the leader of it in 2024.
