I totally agree with you Sam! I’ve got my Fjallraven Kanken laptop backpack almost six years ago and it travelled with me around the world as my daypack on holidays besides the daily use as my go-to-work-bag. It still looks very good and there is nothing wrong with it! Thanx for your honest review!
i bought mine on their website last week, kanken no.2 in black and laptop 15" as well, i'm in love with it, feels like its going to last a lot of years with me. i noticed that mine is an updated version that has a pocket inside the backpack. which makes sense, since there is not a lot of compartments to put your stuff in it. thanks for the review!
no, doesnt feel more bulky. i can tell you that it is a huge update having an inside pocket. the side pockets, which is made to put your water bottle, now finally fits a water bottle. i have a LARQ 25oz and it fits perfectly without any struggle. i do recommend it@@irishfarmart
Having had my Fjallraven Kanken for about a month I can say I am delighted with it. My handbags ( in the past) have been quite a few hundred pounds and although I loved them I am finding this backpack perfect. I just said to my daughter how easy it is to go shopping without hanging onto your handbag. The Kanken has been all over with me and will be coming on many more outings. Had my knitting in it when we went walking on the Northumberland coast recently. Perfecto so thanks for the overview Sam. ⭐️

Hi! I wouldn’t was it…I had terrible results with washing leather, but I would definitely recé to use a wet sponge with some detergent to dab the fabric part, that will get rid of stains etc. I also have a video that shows how to use wax to renew the kanken, I think that’s the best way to get back to store conditions

I am pondering upgrading to the new version too!!! Is the inside pocket handy? Meaning…is it useful or does it get the backpack to feel more bulky?
