Good Morning Im looking for a cracking Second-Hand 20inch Allett Kensington Lawnmower to part ex or offer me a price for everything I am offering in my part ex? I am not just offering my lawnmower in the deal, but a lot more in the part ex! I am also adding AT NO extra cost, many brand new, genuine Allett parts to be fitted yet! and 6 cartridges for the machine listed below, and that includes a 10 blade cartridge and the 6 blade cartridge, all purchased the same time, as the Lawnmower, and also a GENUINE ALLETT WALL RACK, to hang all spare cartridges when not used. As mentioned, I am looking for a really good Allett 20" Kensington. Mine is from new. With the new parts fitted, mine will look a very good mower. It's only because I can't use my hands well, anymore, that it's in the condition it is, but the parts are available to make a great looking mower, as paint is fine. We didn't fit the parts because of my health, that's the reason, and my wife cut the lawns as it was. So I'm being VERY FAIR, throwing in, all new parts and cartridges in, for one second or third hand, 6 Blade Kensington 20" which no doubt will be older, and this is why I'm asking for a really great looking machine. I'm not being greedy, as all secondhand cartridges will get £80-£120. So in my offer and I will list parts and as I say, are brand new and not on machine, just waiting to be fitted, as I can't do it anymore. I've tried last 2 weeks and spent a week now in hospital, and still here. I want my wife to have something she doesn't have to worry about, but mines not about to die or something, just wants all putting together. So I am having op on my aorta vein, and every chance it can rupture. My odds 70/30. Have you got a secondhand carburettor for Kensington20k? It’s got the FJ100 engine? Karen has cleaned it so well but I can’t use my hands and she can’t get the emulsion tube out at all, and no one will help us, as there is no one. So I’m asking if you have one and how much please? Ian
@@IanScott-cb6ln the newer Fj100d engines on the Kensington are more complex than the ones on the earlier Balmoral SK. And they are notoruis for being difficult to clean. Daniel Hibbert the lawn expert gave up on his Kensington. Firstly the emulsion tube does not come out on 99% of them. It is pressed in. I have tried and tried. The one Mick had was a 1%. The second problem is that there are Welch plugs on the carb which have hidden jets. They are sealed to make sure emissions are regulated but they need to be unsealed and jets cleaned. And then the jet screw needs to be adjusted to make sure it's running sweet. It really is complicated. The other option is to put on a Fj100d carb from a Balmoral. These can be cleaned easily and are much less hassle to maintain.
@@mowerboy7914 thank you and as you say the emulsion is a pig. I’ve ordered a new one from Kawasaki dealer for £126 and then time I’ve re sprayed and new parts on I’m selling. I’m sorry late reply I’ve had ambulance and doctor and specialist here to take me in to hospital being sick constantly with blood. Not good and sorry for everything else
