Actualy he almost killed himself after his brother thrown him into the ocean (he was already afraid of the water) His Samblance lets him control water , so when he tried to run away from the ocean the water went with him
Sage is based on either one of Aesop's fables or Aesop himself. The name of his sword "Pilgrim" is part of this allusion as one of Aesop's fables is called "The Pilgrim and the Sword".
@Nekko yeah Neptune’s brother pushed him in to get him over his fear of water n it helped activated his semblance n he almost drowned himself. After the event his brother got him goggles to at least help him see under water. His family, has basically all water semblances.
I know it's been a while, but I always assumed Neptune used his semblance in the fight to control the electrified water toward the other team. At least it looks like it.
Nora has always been my favorite since volume 1 (I've always had a weakness for special characters, and a bonus point if they have pink like Pinky Pie from My little Pony or Mabel Pines from Gravity Falls). So a cute, funny, strong and passionate girl could not help but have my favors. To all say, since the release of Volume 1, I have his "I'm queen of the castle" in cellphone sound for messages. The fight between the SSSN and NDGO teams is as goofy as possible that's clear, but there are some reasons for it, let's say. And then the comparison to the K-Pop group is legitimate, since I believe that it is precisely an inspiration, the boy bands (hence the fangirls in the public including the one with the panel of Sun's abs). Jake: Weiss isn't worried about her friends, just her family. Cough cough, not so much about her father, coughs cough. No clearly, we see for once Weiss happy to see someone, which is a good change for her, but next to that, we also saw that she did not want to answer her father. So in two episodes, we see that she has a dysfunctional family, but that there are still people that she loves / admires or at least, is happy to see. Casually, in a little bit, we learn a lot about her, without it being clearly said by a character, and that is a good job of writing I think.
17:00 it was a funny match! It didn't make sense and did slap stick humor pretty well! It's nice to have a mix with the awesome fights like the "avengers assemble" fight with the death stalker and nevermore.

Will do, I have to say that although that is True, Jaune is definitely getting better (even if it’s slowly). I think this is why Jaune is one of my Overall Favorite Characters, he is what makes this Series Human… If ANY of Us viewers would be sent to this world, ALL of us would be Jaune… and him slowly getting the hang of it makes it real. -Nekko

Nora is literally Thor. Was Neptune always supposed to be dumb? He was supposedly an intellectual in the last volume, and beat Yang at that board game. And here's the other half of his team; we never learn anything about them, despite Monty's original intentions. Remnant's currency is all cards, exchanged as cash. Really looking forward to the next one...
Spoiler Getting semblances can be inherited, but semblances are based on the person n situation they were in when they got it. Nora got her’s when she was struck by lightning. Her semblances saved her life (also she is based on Thor i think, im sure someone will correct me if im wrong xD)
I believe the Schnee's Glyph is the only Semblances that is directly genetic. There are some family's who share similar but different Semblance's, such as Neptune's who all have different water based semblances.

The reason why Neptune is afraid of the water is because when his semblance first activated he almost killed his brother.
