- This Tyrod Taylor 4 yard pitch and catch throw to lose the game might just be the worst play in the last 2 decades of football.. I mean it absolutely put to shame the play that just happened before

I think the real mistake happened later. The Giants got to the 35 on their final drive and then instead of throwing a 7 yard slant to get closer they tried a run, it got stuffed, and they ended up having to try a 54 yard FG.

And if they attempted a slant and it didnt work you'd still be here saying they should've ran the ball

If you continue to try and attack and get closer for the FG and the defense stops you, you go over to the sideline at the end of the game, shake the defensive coordinator's hand and say "Your guys did great on that last drive."
If you wimp out and stop being aggressive with your play calls, that's on YOU.
It really looks like those Rams players wanted to console him, but couldn't due to some unspoken code.
I seen that happen before. Nate Kaeding missed a FG, and Bob Sanders tried to console him, but was given a taunting penalty. They played together at Iowa.
Man you could tell Tyrod was at his breaking point with that one. Yeah, it's his fault, but he's been through so much it's hard to really get mad at him. Hopefully they don't get rid of him, as I still wanna see him play.

Only the Giants can make a routine walk in conversion look like the hardest thing ever. Not to mention that Mason Crosby’s leg is completely shot. The offense did him no favors at the end.
As a Steelers fan, I have to wonder exactly how the hell Gunner Olszewski did anything besides muff the punt or show negative football IQ, let alone score a TD on a punt return.
He was actually a pretty good returner in new england for a few years. Even made the pro bowl in 2020. Not sure what happened with the steelers tho
@@Drumbsticks my best guess is that he wanted to sabotage the Steelers, or got bonked on the head and forgot how to play football when we got him, then got bonked again right before this punt return then.

As a Giants fan myself, this was HEARTBREAKING. I was mad, and sad, and had a lot of other emotions. Hopefully these bad decisions and muffed up plays stops next season. I just want us to be good again. They gave me hope last season, this season was set to be even better. If not an SB run, at least make it to the NFC championship game. But no, we just took a dump on the field week after week. I'm glad the season is only a few weeks from being over. I just want it to be over so I can move on and hope next season is better

I was at this game, and even as an eagles fan (going with my gf’s family), I was like “what the actual fuck did I just watch.” He could have walked it in or he could have given an easy toss, but instead it was the dumbest fucking thing I’ve ever seen.
