I was 17 in my senior year in high school when I first heard his music. I am now 63 and getting such a kick out of his rediscovery by our younger people. I literally brings tears to my eyes every time I hear many of his songs. Get lost in his discography....there are so many. Don't hold back. The guy was a genius. Thank you.
This concert was in Palacio de Bellas Artes, only a few pop singers ever perform there. Juan Gabriel was the exception of the rule. Then he make a CD and DVD about this concert. Very unique with the big orchestra and mariachi at the same time. "Hasta que te conocí" its a classic in the mexican music industry.

The beginning is sad and hurtful, is telling you the story of how through this person -or experience- he became aware of emotional pain but little by little, with the pace of music, everything changes.
