Love how realistic this moving vlog is. It's so hard for both mind and body, so many decisions and for some reason always at least one crisis. My last move was hell: had to do it all in one day or I'd get double rent, the old tenant hadn't cleaned at all so it was nasty and stinky, he also was a no show for the key hand over so my moving company got super angry at the delay. It took me a month to get rid of the nasty smell in the kitchen but I love my apartment so worth it (kind of)
That sounds like a nightmare of a move! Well done for doing it in a day 😫 moving is the worst!
@HermioneChantal I like the aftermath of getting to design a new place but moving itself... I'd rather not do it again for a loooong time. Hope you, Hayley and the dogs will like the new place!

You did well you two I agree foam tape or double-sided is a no learnt that myself as well. Those boxes are great and pups were very chill. I hope everything got there ok I would have wrapped the glass and the chairs too. Best of luck in your new place.

1 tip that i can recommend to get rid of sticky stuff is spray on wd40. Even fhe foam tape will come out in 1 piece!

U should have just put goo gone on the foam tap and it should come right off. It removes all the stickiness

To remove contact paper you have to heat it up with a blow dryer for a bit and it will come off really fast.
I wish I hadn’t packed it in one of the boxes 😅 that trick works well!

😅 it’s foam tape, it’s made of foam and is apparently very hard to remove lol 😂

This foam tape is horrible. First of all, you don't really think it's going to stick, but when you have to take it down it sticks like crazy. Moving is so hart, but also joyable because of something new to decorate 😂 wish you the best ❤

Only sticks when want to take it down. Normally pushing back onto the wall the whole time.

Aaaah, nothing like the upheaval of moving house...add foam sticker, and you feel as if your head will explode. I hate the stuff, i was told to use spirigel ( alcohol hand sanitiser) to soak the stuff and rub it off. It works, but it is labour intensive. I'm not sure which twisted person invented the torture sticker 😂 I can't wait to see you making a cosy nest for your little family. 🫶🥳 look after eachother
